I ordered 2 pair of expensive pants, $75.00 a pair from the 5.11 online store on the 5th of July. Today is August 1st and I still have not received my pants. When I called to inquire about them a week after placing my order since I never received my shipment notification, I was told that due to warehouse changes, my shipment may be delayed for several weeks. The agent also said that the notice was on their web page. IT ISN'T!!!! The reason, entrapment! I called again a week later (on a Thursday) and this time the agent told me that they were packed and on the shipping dock waiting for the carrier. Still no shipment notification. A few days later I called again and was told that they was still waiting shipment, REALLY! When demanded a refund, they told me that they couldn't because my order had already been processed. They finally shipped them a few days later and I got an estimated delivery date. After that delivery date passed, the tracking has completely STOPPED. I have no idea where my pants are or when they will arrive. My advice to you is to go to the brick and mortar store. This online store is a JOKE! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I ordered 2 tactical pants for 137$ and I was ready to get them before i go back to my deployment, but after one of waiting to get an email with a tracking number so i can track my order, I got nothing yet and I called the customer service number to find out that they they didn’t shiip my order until five days after the order date, I Talked to a manager on the phone and these big companies still thinks the people are dump by telling me “ Oh, I’m sorry but we have some system updates and that’s delayed everything” which is not my f** problem, who the hell do updates on the Black Friday sale day ?
Anyway stay away from these guys, for me Im going with North Face from now on, the 5.11 website is a SCAM

23 days and still no order. Orser placed 2 april. CS didnt respond to my email to initally i ended up with the wrong product.. No big deal next day set up return and replace for correct.. So here we are 23 days later and still no order. Have been told its in Packing..they cant cancel it.. Its in the last stages before shipping. Its being expididted. And today I was told it hasnt even moved.. Asked to speak to a supervisor ans was hung up on.. So ill be taking it up with my credit card company instead. And contacting the BBB. Products are great but 5.11 themselves are horrible.

First off, if I could give this company 0 stars I would. The whole process of ordering to receiving the item is the worst I’ve ever seen. The customer service is TERRIBLE. Almost every agent you speak with on the phone is rude acts like you’re bothering them. If you order something online through the 5.11 website be prepared to:
-Not receive a confirmation email on your order
-Be prepared to hear “our shipping times are delayed as of now” followed by whatever BS reason
-have the worst customer service experience if you have to call
-not receive your “IN STOCK ITEMS” for anywhere between 4 weeks and 4 months

Terrible. Do yourself a favor and either buy another brand, or buy the 5.11 item at a physical store.

My order was "processing" for 7 days before it even shipped! I called them after the 4th day to cancel because I needed them in a week and they said they couldn't because it was already charged and processing....on the website they stated that "will not be charged till item ships" which isnt true I was charged right away which meant I couldn't cancel....a little scam they do that way you can't cancel and won't return when you get it because you have to pay for shipping and restocking fee.....5.11 products are great no doubt, a bit over priced but still great but their e-commerce is terrible! Next time I'll just order from a 3rd party site

I placed orders back in October and November before Christmas and was provided excuses for the delayed shipping. Here we are in April of the new year and again they are giving excuses for 10 business day shipping delays. I'm done! I love their products but this shipping issue appears will put them out of business.

I placed an order for one $80 item October 15 2017. I immediately received an order confirmation, with a statement that "As a reminder, please be aware that our warehouse is undergoing improvements to better your 5.11 experience. Please be advised that your shipments will be delayed up to 10 business days". There was no mention of this on the website prior to buying, (so why say this is a reminder?) but I accepted.

I waited more that 10 business days and did a web inqiry (email). After almost a week, on Nov 7 2017, I received this reply. "I’m James from 5.11 eCommerce Team and I’m here to help. I’m terribly sorry for the poor level of customer service that we have provided thus far. I looked into your order status and it seems as though your items still have NOT shipped yet. It has only just been processed and will be set up for fulfillment. You’ll be notified by email with a tracking number once it has shipped, which is hopefully REALLY soon.

As you’re probably aware we underwent some serious infrastructure changes recently and it grossly affected our ability to get orders out the door, let alone respond to the web “contact us” form submissions like yours. We value you as a customer and we hope that you will continue to shop with us in the future!

Thank you for your patience"

As of November 20 2017, order still states processing. I have sent another web inquiry to cancel this order, and will never buy another 5.11 product again.

Ordered a simple watch cap on Black Friday 11/27. After a week I submitted a web inquiry- no response. A few days later another web inquiry- no response. I called on 12/11 as I still had no shipping confirmation or order update. After 15 minutes on hold while the rep searched for the order I was told the order had not been processed yet. It was already two weeks and the order wasn’t even processed yet. The rep said he would put a rush on it but there was a huge back up of some kind going on with their system. I finally got a shipping notice on 12/16 with an estimated delivery of 12/26. We are talking a month here folks to ship a simple hat. Absolutely unacceptable for an in stock item. I have experience slow processing and delivery in the past with .511, but this was the worst. I will NEVER order another thing from .511 online. If you don’t care when you will get your order I guess you’ll be okay. If you expect to get it in a timely manner you might want to shop elsewhere.

First off, I spend several thousand dollars a year on 5.11 tactical gear- clothing, boots, tactical equipment, bags, patches, you name it, I have it. I usually purchase my items directly from local retailers because I do not like having to wait to receive items in the mail, however, if there us a good sale on the 5.11 website, I do order online. On Nov. 23 and Nov. 27 I placed separate online orders, the total value of which was about $300. To date (today is December 18th) NEITHER of my orders have even shipped. I have called and emailed 5.11 several times...emails get no response, and my phone calls have been pointless....just repeated apologies, followed by false promises of shipping dates (none of which have happened) I tried canceling my orders two weeks ago and THEY REFUSED TO CANCEL THE ORDERS...even though they still have not shipped. I am (well was) a very loyal customer and I spend a lot of money on 5.11 products every year, but after this experience I can confidently say I am done with 5.11. You would think that this company would do something to rectify this situation right?!? Well, WRONG, they do not care. For my month delay, numerous broken promises regarding shipping times, and hours spent dealing with this, what did 5.11 offer me for compensation??? A **** FLASHLIGHT AND 30% off MY NEXT Order....are you kidding me??? 5.11 can shove their flashlight where the light doesn't shine, and it will be a cold day in hell before I order anything from them again, so they can stick the bullshit 30% coupon up their ****! Do yourself a favor and buy your tactical gear- from a place that gives a **** about their customer base. Tactical gear is expensive, and for the money I spend I demand better than this.

Order placed 12/6/17, today is 12/18/17 package still has not shipped from site. Customer Service line on hold for 30 minutes no answer. I will try and cancel from my CC company. Unacceptable 5.11, there are too many other vendors out there to choose from. Was a repeat customer. Never again.

5.11 needs to work on there pants the TDU to the taclite to the stryke and kodiak pant all have the same issues, it's not necessary to have the waist so high up on these pants i'm not asking to make these pants into designer hipsters but for crying out loud it doesn't need to be that high from the crotch area they goes right past my belly button and i look like an idiot an if i pull them down on the hips i just look like some thug gangster

I ordered boot laces June 8th, today is July 7th, still have not received the laces. Tracking states they are On Hold
The package remains at the UPS Access Point location and is reaching the maximum days allowed to be held. I should have just went to Wally world for the laces. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Placed an order with them on the 25th of May. Today is the 4th of June. They don't reply to emails, but I've called twice to check the status of my order and was told each time (three days apart) that the order is in "packing." Today, after waiting on hold for 40 minutes) I decided to cancel the order and was told by customer service that unfortunately they can't cancel the order once it is in packing. Really? The products they make are relatively good quality, but I would suggest you avoid placing an order through 5.11 directly; instead find another vendor, like Amazon (had I don't that I'd have had my pack in two days).

I literally am appalled by the customer service and disorganization of tac 5.11 I ordered a jacket from them for cyber monday and they cancelled my order without telling me. So here I am waiting for my winter coat for work but looks like I will not be getting one and I will be freezing my **** off on the ambulance because they said they could not fulfill my order. I tried calling them about this... good luck I waited on hold for hours with no luck. Worst. Company. Ever. Looks like I will be ordering off amazon.

Long story short = going on six months trying to get what I need.

1. Placed order in June 2017 for 2 bags to be delivered to post office box. No where during the ordering process is it specified 5.11 will not ship to p.o. box. Contacted UPS (shipper) to advise to re-route; they could not do that, sender (5.11) must make change. Tried to contact 5.11 to have them re-route, no response. Took about 3 weeks to have shipment come back to 5.11 & get res-sent to proper address.

2. After receiving items, found that 1st item did not fit my needs. Took a couple of weeks to get feedback on return policy & credit for said item.

3. Second bag had zipper fail early Dec 2017. Contacted customer service rep, cs rep said ok, no problem, send e-mail with pictures. E-mail was delivered to server but no receipt confirmation. Phone call to new cs rep only to discover previous cs rep I had been dealing with was no longer with the company. Send e-mail to new cs rep. This response Dec 16, 2017:

"Thank you for your email. We are currently behind in responding to all inquiries and we are doing the best we can to get caught up. I will respond to your inquiry within 2-3 business days, but if you require immediate assistance please call our Customer Service line at 1-866-451-1726. Thank you and have a great day!"

Allow holidays to pass. Try calling Jan 3. "The wireless customer you are trying to reach is unavailable. Please try your call again later" or busy signal.
