I ordered a mini ductless multi system and when the estimated arrival time came and passed I called and was told one of the items in order was on backorder. When about a week later that date passed, I called again and was told a different item was on backorder than the original one on backorder and would be about another week. At this point, I just told him to cancel it as it is taking too long and too much frustration and inconsistency. I was told the order was cancelled and would receive confirmation email. I never received that email so I emailed customer service there giving them order details telling them to cancel. They never cancelled or responded to email.

I checked back for several days and noticed my order online still active, no cancellation then one day I check and the backorder status shows "ready to ship" and I get a call from someone there which I let go to voicemail. It appears they tried to simply ignore my order cancellation and push it thru. Luckily during this time I removed my credit card from their system and reported credit card lost so they wouldn't be able to try and fraudulently charge it. They only did a pending charge initially when I ordered which quickly passes after a few days. Luckily I wasn't charged or out anything and after I changed my name to "cancel it" online they eventually deleted the order from their system. I guess they don't have a cancel option like every other shopping cart system around.

If you wish to have an experience like mine, I think this company will be a great option for you!

After providing exact model and part numbers of my air handler, AC Wholesalers specified a particular heating element. I purchased the element and when my installer tried to install it he told me it was the incorrect part. I had to source the element locally and spent $200 on a second service call. Then to top it off AC Wholesale wanted me to pay for shipping to me, return shipping as well as a 15% restocking fee. I advise to purchase on amazon to avoid any such hassles.

I placed an order which the website said would ship in 3-4 days. I never received any notification that the order had been back ordered. The order arrives a month and half later. When I call to send the item back they assess a 15% restocking fee along with trying to have me pay for there original shipping costs. The customer service person read from a sheet like a zombie and refused to even acknowledge what I was saying.....No thank you! Will never do business with this company again.

I paid for a 16 seer unit. A unit got delivered. I hired an HVAC pro to install it. He came to my home, unpacked it, and installed it. All seemed great. The next morning info into my back yard to cut my grass. It's only a 14 Seer unit. They won't return my emails or my calls. Rip off.

I placed an order for a filter and after several days I got a notice that my order was cancelled because the part is no longer available.
They should not accept the order if they did not have the part or at least notify me as being on back order.
I would give 1 star but I got a call about the cancellation as well, that is why I increase their rating.

they said online everything was in stock and nothing was , they had me on hold for 30 mins while they messed around trying to find out why and gave some BS answer on why it says IN STOCK on their website. DONT NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE you wont get your items timely or possibly at all.

This was my second purchase through ACWholesalers.com and like the first several years ago, these guys really have the ability to match you with the right product for your needs and get it delivered to you pretty quick. ordered 5 Pro 1 thermostats at the price listed online. waited several days with no communication, so I called and found out that my order had been canceled. AC said if I wanted the thermostats, I would have to pay $5.00 more per thermostat than I currently pay at the supply house. order # was ACW2332956. Lesson learned.

I ordered an HRV unit which was on on two week order from the factory putting our builder"s schedule 3 weeks behind. A couple days after ordering, I had a call from my ACWholesalers sales person saying the unit was in route as they were able to get one locally.

Called placed order on a Thursday it was delivered on Monday had AC Monday night love it

I ordered an in-stock Amana PTAC 14,700 BTU unit on Sept. 13th. Although I was charged immediately, the item was not shipped until the 6th. The item was damaged in transit, and I requested a replacement. AC Wholesalers was completely non-responsive, and after several emails, stated a return window of 48 hours to reject the claim.

As you can see on their site, the stated return window of their policy is 30 days.

Before you buy, look through the reviews on this site - you'll see consistently that this company misrepresents their stock, fails to respond to customers, and ships damaged or non-working items. Just quickly scanning through other reviews shows phrases like "I feel cheated and hood-winked", "they do not stand by anything", and "completely ridiculous". I should have taken this more seriously before buying.

Is the savings vs. competitors worth rolling the dice and dealing with the frustration of a refund that you won't get?

Is it worth having a giant 200 lb box sit in your home for months while you try to work through their process with customer "service"?

This isn't how a company should behave in 2018. Let's vote with our dollars and put scammers like this out of business. Dispute and litigate!

I’m not going to take the time to write out my experience with their facility because I have wasted HOURS on the phone so far, but I will say this – it was absolutely horrible, and I was lied to by their salespeople and their “supervisors”. I spent over $3,000 with their company and they belittled me and called me a liar over a $100 item I needed to return. Absolutely horrible business sense on your end. I was specifically told by their salesperson over the phone that I could order multiple line sets of different lengths and return them with only 2 stipulations, that it was not used, and still in original packing. Well, when I tried to return them I was told it needed to be within 30 days, no exceptions. When I explained the situation they told me that they are not responsible for what their salespeople say. WHAT?!

Sold me a 4 ton 18 SEER and delivered a 15 SEER. I refused the shipment and they tried to charge a $1000.00 return fee

Item I ordered was in stock and was supposed to ship the very same day, instead it shipped six days later and arrived 11 days after it was ordered. I called them twice and both times they stated it was going to ship today. Finally got a tracking number 2 days after placing order but UPS did not recognize the tracking number. Six days after the order was placed , the tracking number was valid and my item was on its way.

i ordered two minisplit units and the condenser to go with it. they arrived faster than i expected and were extremely well packaged. all units arrived in perfect condition. we were able to save a lot of money by buying through AC Wholesalers.

I ordered 4 items, Fri. May 5, they arrived here Thur. May 11 and were unloaded in my driveway and put in my garage. Good service!! Thanks, D. Fox

I needed three vent fans for new construction. Ordered from this business because shipping listed in website was "leaving warehouse in 1 -2 days" and sometimes same day shipping. It's eight days later. When I call, I get their recording to hold but no one ever answers the phone. I have tried multiple times over several days. I can't even cancel the order and purchase elsewhere because no one will pick up the darn phone! Horrible customer service. Horrible.
