We ordered a motherboard (Soyo KT333) and CPU (AMD XP 1800); it failed in two weeks we sent it back. Received a replacement, not the same type, but we did get a replacement (DFI K7-AD75). But now the new board fails on the memory test. We have put in Ram that we know works from other machines but still no luck.

I ordered a complete system on a monday. Tusday the funds were taken out. That friday I had thought it was getting ready to ship until I got a phone call asking if the Graphics Card I had selected could be substituted because they were fresh out. I told them to cancel my order because I only wanted that card. Now it's monday, 3 days after I cancelled, and I still didn't get my money back into my account (it was a debit card purchase). It was a huge waste of a week, and now I have to wait for my money to get put back into my account until I can buy another compter from another company.

To make a long story short, they could have saved me a lot of time and trouble by seeing my order, checking the availability of the order, and either processing the order right away if everything was there, or cancel the order right away (as I had asked for in the order if anything was backordered). The day I canceled some other dude called me up (the original sales rep was real friendly and nice), barely speaking english, trying to get me to go with their substitute graphics card.

Why waste your time with a company that hasn't won a single award? Also, look them up at the Better Business Beurou. They have an unsatisfactory rating. I should have looked that up before I ordered. Look elsewhere. If you can find a company with CNET's approval of a PC, you're in good shape.

I have purchased 2 systems a week ago. Computers looks and works great. These guys use only brand name parts and that is why I decided to buy from them. I got Thermaltake case, Asus Motherboard, Kingston 4gb Memory, Seagate Hard Drive. I just know from my personal experience that you will not go wrong when your system built of Brand Name not generic parts.

I called twice and talked to Alex both times. I pretty much knew what I wanted but I needed suggestions on a case and a few other items. He was extremely helpful and made a few recommendations which saved me some money. I did not purchase that day, but ordered it shortly thereafter. It was shipped in 48 hours (with no additional charge) and it arrived safely and is great.

I ordered the Gigabyte Radeon 8500le pro from them works great. Packaging was perfect and nothing was missing. I was a little skeptical in ordering with them at first since it was so cheap compared to other sites offering the card for $100+ to adamant's $89. They also paid $5 extra for my shipping just to get it here faster. Great online buying experience!

I called wanting to upgrade to an Athlon XP processor, and a KT333 motherboard. I was just getting back into the role of DIY PC Enthusiast, and needed to find a Reputable, Cost-competitive dealer, I could TRUST! The people at Adamant not only suggested a motherboard which had not been thoroughly reviewed yet(Gigabyte's GA-7VRX champion of the KT333 motherboards, which was indicative of their intuitive knowledge for product potential) they mated it with the best potential overclocking Athlon around,(AX1800 AGKGA CPU) and I didn't even mention I'd be overclocking, but said I wanted a system, "I could grow with..." the fact they had this batch of processors, and at a price well below their competitors (in fact lower then all the others) is further evidence of their quality of service. Remember, statistics show that 90% of people who order unclearly, or are dissatisfied will complain, but only 10% of content/happy customers make an an effort to write a letter, or tell others. Adamant sells a lot, becuse their a solid, trustworthy business, and sometimes the overall ratings can be decietful. It always better to read the positive reviews, these are the people with integrity intelligence, and the astuteness to spread the word! We need to hear good things man!

On November 5th I placed an order for a PNY Geforce6800GT. I'd been running into problems with parts I wanted being out of stock, so I wanted to make sure they actually HAD it. (part was listed to ship in 5-7 days, leading me to believe it was indeed in-stock) When I saw that there was an option provided by Adamant.com to automatically cancel any backordered parts, I was impressed. I wanted to make sure I'd get the piece in a timely fashion, and wanted to be informed if that wouldn't be the case.

I recieved an order confirmation e-mail shortly after placing the order. This confirmation had in it my instructions to cancel any backordered items, and made no mention of the Video card being on back order. I figured I'd have my card soon.

5 days later, I finally hear from the company... They finally wrote to tell me that the some 200 Cards they were to **recive on the 10th** did not come in, and that they could not fulfill my order. They would, however, be gracious enough to hold my order open until the manufacturer sent them a sufficient quantity to fulfill my order. Though they weren't told WHEN that would be.

Obviously, my card WAS on backorder at the time of order, and they failed to fulfill at that time my request that backordered items be cancelled. 2 days after that email, I was informed that they would be getting thier shipment of cards in on the 17th of November, almost 2 weeks after I had placed the order. Utterly unacceptable.

Had I known the card was not in stock, I could have found another vendor immediately, purchased the card, and completed the build. As it stands now, my computer will be sitting for a further week waiting to be completed.

I will certainly NOT be going back to them for parts in the future, despite what appears to be highly competitive pricing.

Terrible customer service and questionable business practices; cancelled my order 4 days after placing it and ordered the same item at a more reputable seller.

As a business buying 10 to 20 pc's a year, we have zero complaints. The company is located nearby and is open till 6pm at the listed address for picking up orders in person. Not a virtual operation, they stock product on site. They are currently expanding to handle more business growth. Web site clearly states 30 day return for any reason your not satisfied with no restock charges. Our experience on returns qualifies it.

I ordered a Zoom 56K V.92 modem. They shipped it promptly, but when I received it, it didn't have any manufacturer's name on it or it's CD. The modem only cost 11.99, but the shipping and handling charges were 9.52. I'll admit, I should have checked that prior to ordering. Needless to say, I sent it back. It is July 2 and they still haven't credited the RMA.

I purchased a computer from these guys recently and i could not be more happy with my decision. There was no complications in my transaction and the comp works flawlessly. My future purchase will definitely be from these guys and i would surely recommend this company to my friends and family.

Ordered two 50 packs of TDK 80 min CD-R's from this company. Instead of the TDK's like I asked for, they decided to ship me generic "Hypermedia" CD-R's instead. Called the company up (long-distance) and they were surprised I even noticed. From what I've read online, Hypermedia CD-R's are among the worse you can get out there. Anyway, after numerous calls, I finally got an RMA number from them, and was forced to ship back the Hypermedias at yes, my expense. This is the 1st return I've ever done online, and it was just terrible. After numerous inquiries about the status of my refund, I finally talked to someone who said it would be processed by the accounting dept. on Monday (3 weeks after I shipped). This company's customer service is the worst I've ever experienced online. Just hope that if you ever order from them, you receive exactly what you want the 1st time around, without any sort of problem whatsoever, because their customer service is a total nightmare to deal with.
