My placement lasted for 9 hours and that's it. A very insensitive member of Adecco decided to try and call me three times to tell me I was so bad and I wasn't wanted or needed. Then asking me 'Do you want to find more work with us' and never again.

Worst agency ever, called me for a job I’m getting there I was told I wasn’t needed for that day, a mistake come tomorrow, getting home I was sent a mail that I wasn’t needed after all for the following day. Very disrespectful agency.

As an employer we attempted to take on two different candidates on two separate occasions for a standard, entry-level admin role.
On both occasions we were assured by the recruiter from the Wimbledon branch that they were an excellent candidate and that they had scored highly in their internal interviews.
Both candidates had issues attending work and committing to any sort of schedule. Adecco's 'finders fee' is supposed to include pre-screening and preparing candidates for their new workplace. However, neither candidates seemed to understand the basic principle of employment, being that you need to actually turn up.
Even though we raised the issues with the branch when they rang to 'check-up' (as well as calling them on several occasions) they apparently did not intend on actually doing anything about this, i.e. following up with their candidate to try to keep them in employment etc. despite their assurance that they would.
No one in this process seemed to benefit from Adecco’s involvement and they took a substantial cut of the candidate’s annual salary for a non-existent service.
Both employees and employers alike, would do well to avoid.

Currently working a 6 month contract with Adecco, from the start there has been nothing but issues with correct salary being paid, issues with Holiday Pay rate being totally wrong and they are breaking the law regarding Annual Leave entitlement. Legally you get statuatory 8 days for Bank Holidays and 20 days minimum holidays, they calculate this as 0.539 days per week you work so you can accumulate 0.539 x 52 weeks so just over 28 days a year, however they tell you that you don't earn holiday entitlement when you take a week off so in theory you can lose 5.6 weeks x 0.539 days which takes you below the legal minimum. Avoid these cowboys at all costs!!

It's all about addicco agency for Newcastle upon Tyne employee his name is Callum I'm talk about last month I was go addicco company for interview I mat them Callum and start to my paperwork then I'm tell them I need only night shift because I have baby and he said it's fine after that he when you go home I send online assessment you email if you pass company give you 18 pound next week I don't got it. then I'm calling today about my shift addicco agency and talking with Callum and he is spoke to me today and ruffly and he is commitment if you pass online assessment I give you night shift but he don't givee me because I'm already tell them I'm look after my baby morning time and give them rest to my wife this is rubbish company I think they take advantage for people

Moved into Corby January 2019, hoping to get some time of job using Adecco which had an office based in Kettering. They never got back to me, they emailed me to set everything up and I hardly heard back from them. They made it clear that it depends on what jobs are available and how busy they are but the lack of communication made it clear that I was not their priority.

my son was offered a job as a cleaner on the ferries for up to 3o hours a week, he would be lucky to get 3 hours as they cancel up to 9 hours a week on him. Last 3 weeks he has had 1 1/2 hours a week.
when he gets paid he is paid well, but they promise big but don't deliver.
