The Customer service lady: Jenny was excellent and made me feel like I was really important to her and AIG. She was patient, knowledgeable and made the whole experience of purchasing insurance easy.

Quick and easy on-line service - even with all the extras I agreed to, it worked out 160 euro cheaper than where I have had my car insurance for last 10 years and they refused to beat it. Only had to send docs in post and insurance cert arrived - hoping if I have to make a claim (fingers crossed I dont), the service will be just as quick and easy and hassle free!

Having purchased my new policy more than two weeks ago, I have not got my car insurance official papers yet. I also sent copies of driving licences and proof of no claims bonus by email more than 9 days ago and haven't got a line confirming receipt yet.

The company ethos really appealed to me on reading the insert which came to hand with the Irish Times on Tuesday 4th November and the service I received on the telephone was so efficient that I have now told so many friends and relatives about same that hopefully they will change to AIG too also. Thank you.

My policy commenced roughly 20 days ago and while I have sent back my signed documents, No claims discount etc. I forgot a copy of my drivers licence. I have had to call up myself weeks later to say that I have not received my insurance disk. While it was a mistake on my part I feel somebody should have contacted me rather than waiting for my call just to say something was missing. Communication was poor in this respect but good otherwise.
