Allianz customer services representatives responded immediately when I informed the company that I had to be hospitalized for a special evaluation as well as when I was hospitalized the second time due to the complication following the procedure performed.

I was exchanging some e-mails with Allianz, in Spanish language, re the renewal of my policy. The first answer I got was so badly written in Spanish...I considered it to be quite offensive. It was literally worse than a very poor google translation!

Aunque al final siempre se hacen cargo de todos los gastos, la mayoría de las veces tengo que llamar y mediar yo entre los proveedores del servicio médico y el seguro para que se pongan de acuerdo, debido a que es una tercera compañía quien se encarga en EEUU de mi cobertura, e incluso en alguna ocasión he tenido llamadas muy desagradables donde he recibido amenazas por parte del proveedor de que me iban a cargar a mi los gastos o iban a denunciarme porque mi seguro no respondía a los pagos.

The callcenter's attendants are really nice and helpful, bhe fact that no one accept Allianz Care and we have to pay first to be refunded later isn't a really good option.

We have been insured at Allianz Worldwide Care for years and noticed that reimbursement has become more difficult over time. For medical reasons and to use the insurance's assets wisely we often prefer doctors and hospitals without the direct billing service.

Allianz have been there for us through my husbands cancer treatment for the last 4 1/2 and have paid for everything all his operations (13+) from flights to hotels to taxis as we are from the Channel Islands. Besides all this we have/had one person ONLY dealing with our case which was extremely helpful so we didn’t have to explain every time we had to contact Allianz. Thank you. My husband has come out the other side too.

Got frustrated, in my one year run did notbbenefit at all in terms of re-imbursements. Despite all documentation I sent as support evidence nothing was approved.
This then defitsbthe whole purpose of joining such an Insuarance scheme. I expect to be cushioned during period of need, this was not the case as this was purely an expense and not investment.
So, I paid for ALL medical Bill's plus all monthly Alleinz premiums, so what's the benefit? My medical bill 2019 was double !!!

I had undergone a bankart repair surgery on my right shoulder.It was a good experience to have myself covered by Allianz.I got my authorisation letter in 2-3 days time and all claims were settled withing 10 days of sbumission without any issues.Overall it was a good experience.

Well, I guess there is no star option to chose...
Anyhow, one thing you could do is to take a minute and to check the profile and previous claims of your client, or ask questions before you reject the claims.
For my last claim I wrote an explanation in the claim, and it seams (after I called help line) that a person who processes the claim had the possibility to check the previous claims and correspondence (E-mails) and again, the claim was rejected.
I really do not understand why?
Anyhow, thank you for asking me for an opinion, but if my policy gets extended, I think I will from the beginning write long explanations and I hope it will contribute to avoid unpleasant situations.
I mean, at the end, the claim was processed positively, and I am thankful for that, but it really took some unpleasant talk to Help line guy, and additional time to explain the historical background of the claim, which I think you can easily see from the documents already sent in.
Hope this makes sense and some steps forward will be implemented.

Me and my team in Jordan are very disappointed and unsatisfied with the services of Allianz Global Care.

Some examples: Long and costly calls with Call Centers; No quick solutions with call center agents possible; treatment according to local standards by local insurance partner, although international fees and contract in place; long communication line with call center in Gulf states and elsewhere; no feedback or involvement at all from Allianz Germany, even if no solution is found; urgent medical treatment needed to be postponed or paid on personal risk due to unclear insurance situation and delayed response from Allianz. This is not a single experience, but seems to be common practice - at least in the region.

i am able to go to a clinic and take my treatment and walk back home without making payments in cash but just presenting my Allianz insurance Card. And the rest is handled by the clinic/hospital through to Allianz.

THE WORST
I waited five hours to be admitted and left - and confirmation came two days later!
I had to pay for OUTPATIENT emergency costs because I was not admitted immediately.
So much for superior health care!
