I was going to sign up as a business owner but the sales person did not seem friendly. I told them I would wait 2 weeks until I get my business started and that I would contact them when I am ready but his response was "We are going to move on and find another company in your area to work with."... Uh, what kind of response is that???

I contact Angie list for Storm damage to my home ,I needed roof and vinyl siding repair .with in two days I got a call from M S Construction Matthew called with in two days ,we set up a time and he was here on time .He was very polite and considerate of my concerns . He and his wife did a wonderful job they worked as a team ,I also had him do some landscaping and other minor repairs the cost was reasonable and I would recommend them to any one , I was very pleased with their work one happy customer

So we had a portrait hung by Nathen Grayye a little while ago and he was great! I'm sure we could have figured out how to do it ourselves but being as though the entire portion is glass we wanted some professional help. He was prompt, remained in touch and was very pleasant. It wasn't like hiring a contractor to just come out and do a job and go home. It was kind of like having a friend come by and he just so happened to hang this portrait

I love my vinyl flooring from Molyneaux. Steve the salesperson was very patient when I was deciding on which vinyl went best with which LVT flooring. Steve never rushed me through all of the matching and looking at several different options. The installers were awesome. Two guys came to install the vinyl sheeting. They were very polite and professional. They went over and above what I expected and my floor is beautiful!! Every time I walk through my laundry room, I can't take my eyes off of my floor. There is a seam, but their installation was so professional, that you cannot see the seam! I can't say enough about Molyneaux and their installers.

Got a recommendation from Angie's List; didn't hire the company and gave them the bad review they deserved. After being harassed by said business, I tried to contact Angie's, but couldn't speak to anyone, other than by email or chat, because I wasn't a "Gold" member? Really? I've been threatened, lied to and bullied, and Angie's is "looking into it." Thanks a heap. I wouldn't become a "Gold " member for anything, and would suggest anyone who reads this stay away, too.

after years of paying 300 dollars a month to advertise with them, they changed their policy to auto renewal,without telling me.they say that they sent me an email telling me about this change, i never got this email, i can prove it. i have all of my email history. so when i called to inform them i did not want to renew, they said they would cancel it, gonna miss you. John never mentioned anything about an auto debit of 998.00 coming out of my business account! we are a small contractor and can ill afford these types of unanounced debits! . going back, every year i had to docusign, pass a background check etc... so then they took 988.00 out of my account without my knowledge or consent for early termination. I am incensed, they reviewed it and declined a refund because of an email i never recieved. never notified me of the change, until i did not want to renew. I told them i reviewed every email and i did not receive it. they have not responded. pretty unfair to a loyal customer for many years, tens of thousands spent with them,never a late payment, in the end, they just take more, without consent, a contract or agreement. A simple courtesy call to make me aware of the changes would have worked, but i guess that would have reduced the chance of renewal. im going to pursue this with every tool available to me, its now more about the principle of this then the money!! disgraceful.

I was given an appointment for 2pm, to remove my items into storage. Anything moving + Storage, kept telling me that they are coming. I called them at 5pm, and he said they are running late. He will definitely arrive at 630pm. We called again at 7pm. He stated, he is almost there. At 8pm I decided to cancel my moving. This place is Horrible, there's no sense of responsibility. Run from this Company, Anything moving and Storage. The fact is they don't move anything!

I was a subscriber for years. Then I didn't really need them so I unsubscribed. I decided to try the "free" service and searched for a contractor for a specific job. Got 2 calls right away. Great. But then..... I randomly receive a phone call from Angies List out of the blue. The woman immediately starts hammering me with questions. Not "Do you have a minute", she just hit the ground running. After about the 7th question I stopped her and told her A) I'm busy (I have a job) and B) why are you calling me? I told her to remove my number from their records and I will NEVER use their service again. Talk about invasion of privacy, lack of respect for my time and just overall hardcore spam.... No thanks.

Promised the world, didnt deliver. We got less than 10 leads, $1000 per month, then when we wanted to cancel they tried to charge us an early termination fee, we disagree with this charge and they want to put us in collections. Stay clear of angies list for your advertising budget. Just not worth it.

I wish I had reviewed Angie's list before getting suckered into this barely legal scam that is immoral and deceptive. I was abandoned by Angie's before my account was done yet they began biling me despite my being in a cancer ward and they never listed my pH # correctly yet want to sting a dying man!

I bought an electrical deal they were running and called the electrician. He told me he doesn't service my area. I've tried on and off for 2+ years to find out how to get my money back or to transfer to a different provider but nobody ever tells me how to do it. I can't call them and they say they respond within 24 hours to an email but the email never addresses my question. I've learned, just go local and never trust Angie's List. I feel bad that Angie has put her name on something so awful... unless that's the kind of person she is, then yuk.

As a business, do not even think about joining Angie's List. You will be so sorry! You will either get charged for fake leads or, if you fall for their monthly subscription, they'll promise you a certain amount of leads per month in which they will not even get you 2% of what they promise to deliver. I promise you, you will spend at least 10 times whatever jobs they get you. How much sense does it make to pay 10 times more money on leads than you will make off of these leads?!

We hired Angie's List to advertise our company in. They assured us that for the $1300 a month they were going to charge us that we would receive 35 to 60 customer leads per month. After almost 2 months we had a total of 4 customer leads. We tried multiple times to contact our sales rep, It took canceling our payment to them for him to finally respond. Now they want to charge us $4550 for early cancelation of a service that they can't even provide.

Angie's List is a complete SCAM! They lock you into a subscription that is practically impossible to decline. You leave messages on their, "Automated Answering Machine," because they don't want you to speak to a an actual, living person. That may cut costs, but it's also designed to IGNORE-the-consumer. Angie's List is a complete farce & you should simply research on YELP or the BBB. You might be better off trying Craigslist or even standing on the street corner with a Sign!

Well I apply 4 days ago, and now angieslist wants to reply. I will never use angieslist again. I am sure the service company is a good company. My tip to them would be is advertisers in their local paper or phonebook cause the company didn't come up on the internet for service and stay away from angieslist. Its fixed now. Let's see 4 days for a response and 2 days to get to my house 4 days for the part to arrive and 2 more days before they can come back. 12 days with out a dryer pissed. Thanks for the help angieslist.

Hired Ace Kitchen for kitchen remodel. Started out fine, was told 4-6 weeks, now it's been eight and I'm told 2 more. Neither the designer or the salesman return phone calls on a timely basis, if at all. Very disappointed Bill T.

I was a paid member of Angie's List for many years and valued their service in finding companies for projects. However since they have been taken over by Home Advisor they no longer are at all objective. When I go into their site to find a company to do a project, they narrow it down to something that does not fit. We no longer have access to looking up the reviews of companies and services. Don't waste your time. Sad to see a good company go bad. Now it is just advertising. Consumer Checkbook is much better.

My wife and I own a small farm in up state New York, our well pump stopped working and we had no water to our barn or to our house. We posted on Facebook and got an immediate response from Kelly of Safewell Technologies. Kelly lived up to everything that he quoted us before the job began and while the job took longer than expected Kelly stayed with it until the job was completed and done right and there were no hidden extras at the end of the job.

Scott and his team did a highly skilled and thorough job on our recent ENTIRE home remodel. They started and completed the job in 4 weeks, as promised. Scott kept us informed/updated on the progress via phone calls, texts and emails during the entire process....and photos. He offered great suggestions and improvements on our vision. At completion of the job it was move in ready. We would differently use Scott again....and plan to do so when remodeling the downstairs.
