I would like to recommend Paul Merrifield at Atherapy, he is a friendly, helpful, understanding and flexible therapist. He sorted out my painful knee which had stopped me running for more than 20minutes at a time. I had 7, half an hour activation therapy sessions with Paul over the course of a few months and after this went onto successfully complete a 24 mile sky run in Norway and two triathlons. Paul's work focused on activating muscles around the body by applying pressure to different areas of the body. It was extremely successful and I would advise you to give it a go if you're suffering like I was! Thanks, Harriet

Great Experience - Highly recommend Toby Giles

I began seeing Toby approximately 7 weeks ago as i'd been suffering from lower back pain for over a year. This pain would fluctuate, and at it's worst would be a 9/10. I'd visited a different physiotherapist for nearly 3 months prior to seeing Toby, and much of his approach was short term as oppose to focusing on alleviating the pain in the long run.

In my first session with Toby, we discussed how the pain started etc and he made me do certain exercises which allowed him to diagnose the cause of the pain. He not only explained what had happened in terms of my lower back muscles, but asked me what my goal was at the end of the sessions. I was given small exercises to do and each week we built these up. I was then shown what to do in the gym which were more intense workouts for my back. I started noticing I was moving a lot more freely and the pain was getting considerably less.

Overall, very happy with the experience and would highly recommend using Toby!

For the past 2 years i have suffered lower back pain and have found it a struggle to walk witbout a limp.My GP put it down to sciatic pain and i resigned myself to believe this is how its always going to be. Seeing how much i struggled in a yoga class my brother contacted Atherapy on recommendation and booked me an appointment to see Nick Dodson. Lucky for me this has been a turning point in my life .Nick listened and examined me and immediatly recognised a hip problem which he referred me to my GP for xray. The xray showed i have oesteoathritis in my hip joint and am to have a total hip replacement in January..I continue in the capeable hands of Nick receiving the best individual care from a true professional.

Andy at The Body Studio has been great and really appreciate all his help in my recovery.

I’ve been having regular input with Nick at the Virgin active clinic in Kirkstall following a motorcycle accident.

He has proved to be very competent and listens to the feedback I give him about what is affecting me most so each session is very focused.

After fracturing my shoulder 2 months ago, I was referred to Nick for physio and already after 3 sessions, there is a considerable reduction in the pain and an equally considerable increase in the mobility I have in my shoulder. Would definitely recommend.

I have used Atherapy for a few years now and find their therapists be very knowledgeable and so quick to get issues sorted. I recently met with Victoria who has helped me improve my posture with exercises and also help with calf stretching exercises. I have found the sessions very effective.

My physiotherapist was Ian Gilham. Now I have seen a lot of physiotherapists in my time but this guy is by far the best. He is great. Really knows his stuff and has helped me e to walk and sort out old injuries that no one else has even been able to diagnose, let alone help me recover. Big up Ian Gilham. If only all medical professionals were this awesome. Thumbs up Ian and Atherapy.

Absolutely brilliant experience with Alex in Shoreditch. He was very knowledgeable, diagnosed the issue quickly and then and then results were seen straight away. He understood the issues and has managed to quickly alleviate much of the pain that I had. Highly recommended.

Excellent, massively improved a four month issue in the first two sessions.

Great sports massage, a bit expensive in my opinion, that's why I only booked 30 min and it was enough for that one time but next time I think I'll need to book 1h.

Toby Giles is an excelled physiotherapist and I can't recommend him enough. I have now been discharged following a comprehensive rehabilitation plan set out by Toby over the past few weeks.
Whilst Toby is super friendly - I don't want to be returning to see him anytime soon!

Andy is an excellent physiotherapist who provided perfect service over the period I saw him as a patient. He is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun to work with. I can recommend him 100%

I was treated by Toby for several weeks for a shoulder/back issue. He was a great physio providing effective exercises that were practical. Toby is also super friendly and quite easy to chat with which made each session a pleasure to attend.

I'm all recovered now, but should I relapse would not hesitate going back to him.

Paul Merrifield has been treating me for a couple of months now after I had a bad horse riding accident, meaning that I had a complex set of fractures; snapped ligaments; torn ligaments; and tendon damage in my right foot & lower leg. I went from barely being able to walk into the sessions, to now being able to not only ride again but a huge variety of functional movement, through a variety of techniques including strapping, massage, and gym work. All v professional and knowledgeable. Everything's been great, and I'm sure I'll be jumping up & down on it in no time!

Got clear improvements in my knee's range of movement after a couple of weeks at the Moorgate's branch working with Victoria who I felt to be very knowledgeable and engaged in getting my knee back in shape.
