I called Auto King on a Saturday and they arrived at said time and quickly diagnosed I needed a new fuel pump. He was able to fix this Monday.
I was quoted $300 for the job.
Guy arrived abit early and quickly informed me the job was going to be about $57 more due to something with how the fuel pump is now designed, being a woman I had no idea what he was talking about.
Job done efficiently but was abit disappointed I had been quoted a price which was then changed on the day.
Haven’t received invoice for actual job yet.

I had a problem with my motorbike in Southport and a staff called Nick was sent to help me out. He was extremely disrespectful, rude, sarcastic and arrogant, having no idea how to deal with a customer. If you want to be well treated, don't contact this company.

I was charged $100 to recharge the battery, but my battery died 1 minute later and the guy was gone. So I pushed my bike for 30 min to the nearest battery shop. Calling this company was throwing money away.

Got a mobile roadworthy (Cairns branch) which initially seemed straightforward, until I realised the mechanic had written down the wrong model type. Called to get this updated, was told I had no idea what I was talking about, he had never heard of anything like this and hung up on me. Wish I had looked at reviews first - Would never use again!

I have emailed and tried to call since last year . And still no solution with this company. First they rip us off , charge $1620 of a job that was basically nothing . Took them almost a month to get back to me as well. Now we have paid back another 2k for nothing when they were suppose to cancel a certegy account created and won’t get back to me. Stay away because all they care about is money . No care in the world about customer service or honesty.

I needed the roadworthy certificate , I booked from them for that , the first time they cancel my booking and the second time customer service was terrible . I just paid $99 for nothing ,and I got my roadworthy certificate from other mechanic,

i called them out for a rwc
they said someone is gonna be here at 1:30 pm so at 4:30pm this arrogant fool comes around acting like he owns QLD and then we exchanged like 6 words,
after him leaving i was left believing my car passed the rwc, then i get the report which says my suspension are faulty,
i wish i could show you a picture of them it's just the plastic that covers the shocks,
i was looking for it and there is little crack in the plastic that protects the shocks from dust getting in it its a easy fix and at the same time the report says my car did 30k more than it actually did i wish i did read the reviews before calling these scammers i did get a second opinion and he the Mechanic said they locked me in for 14 day until so now they expecting a call back but nah i won't let these scum fools come near my car

I had an issue with my car making horrible noises so I called Auto King to have a mechanic take a look. They were able to fit me in the same day and the mechanic was even early. His diagnosis was quick and spot on! It turned out that my front brakes were completely worn down and needed urgent replacement. He gave me a quote on the spot and after making a few further inquiries myself, it turned out that his quote was very well priced, so I called him back to give him the job! My little car is running like a dream again!

Today i had a mechanic come out to me, he was very helpful and to the point, found the fault quoted me a very fair price and had me back on the road in no time at all. I will definitely be using Autoking again! Highly recommend.

I requested a professional service of Autoking in June 2017. The gentlemen who came to do the replacement of my brake pads took less than 20mins to do the work and left. The work was so unprofessional and my cars breaks started screeching. I reported the matter to Autoking and they promised to handle the matter and revisit my claim. Things came to a head when they sent me an unprofessional email stating that they had advised me of the replacement of the brake cylinders which was an utter lie. Do not use these people.

I bought brake pads, charged both back and front brakes - only front was done
Asked them to fix the coolant issue as well, he charged me for radiator + fit, he fixed in the radiator and charged me 827, we still had coolant issue (had to refill at least once a week)
Price was reasonable if they had done their job right

Rang up to complain got the turn around, they said they would send someone out the next week and warned me they would charge extra if I was wrong, that person didn't show. I rang the office got no reply, waited all day nobody came. (was a saturday)

Following weeks my wife rang up and complained (I work office hours) and she was told she has no right to do so, that I had to do this cause it was my car (she had arranged for the first mechanic). I received an email saying "please fill out this form with your complaint...within 12 hours we will get back to you". Still waiting 4 months...
Decided to share it here - I was served by [name removed] initially who "fixed my car".

Take it as you will, We had a very bad experience with them, and they did nothing to rectify it besides an email. Some people have a fine one it seems.

I just hope they don't do the same to you.

After being quoted $205 from RACQ (as a non member), $88 from another mobile mechanic (with a 2 hour window for arrival), $50 for a jump start and on time mechanic from Auto King was much appreciated. Mechanic was friendly and professional.

Called Autoking for a quote at 3 in the afternoon to supply and install a starter motor. Quote was given quickly and came in almost $100 less than another I got. Asked if they could do it the same day and a mechanic was here within 30 mins. Thanks Joel (office) and Chris (mechanic) for the great service can definitely recommend this company for a great and quick service

I have used autoking twice in the past 6 months. They were prompt, professional, put everything in laments terms that I could understand. Had my car running beautifully by the end of it. I got my car roadworthy in the space of a couple of hours. Would highly recommend. What I got quoted on the phone is what I was charged on the day. Will definitely be using these guys for any future work/services I need done. Thanks guys.

I booked in the service which was $219 (not cheap). The man didn't spend long on my car and drove off without telling me, but the main issue was it sounded different when he finished. It didn't seem right. The odd noise got worse and I took it to a mechanic today as I didn't have the invoice with me. He said in 5mins an engine mount was broken and the sound was the harmonic balancer that needs replacing. It wasn't making this sound before the service and I noticed it straight after but have been busy with work and thought I was not as knowledgeable as the mechanic. I cannot believe it cost me more than a normal service and all he said was "the rear shocks need replacing but nothing major", and the car was running worse afterwards. Even if these problems were not created by him (and it seems odd the sound occured straight afterwards) I would expect him to have advised the issues, otherwise what did I pay for? did he do anything?

Called out to have a look at my brakes, took the front wheel off, then was unsure about putting it all the way back on, he told us what needed to be done, when my partner went to do it he couldn’t get the bolts loose enough to come off as they had been bent, called and asked if they could come back out just to use the gun to get the wheel off and said they would but for another $99 when it’s their fault the bolt was bent my partner got the wheel off the 2 bolts completely snapped off! Waste of money! Asked to speak to head office and got hung up on

Hubby works away and booked service with these guys for his Colorado ute, nice guy, turns up on time, efficient, hubby was told it would take an hour and a half, guy was here 30 mins, wow bit shocked when I heard the price, $345 is really expensive for a 30 min oil change.

We had auto king come out to roadworthy the car.20.01.20 Passed it all. Didn't even take it for a drive at all. A prospect buyer sends another guy out to look a the car 10.2.20 car hadn't moved at all. And guess what it fails. Second guy really nice. Did it all proper. Took it for a drive. Auto king is not interested in rectifying anything at all told us fill out a form great customer service lol. No apologies nothing. unbelievable how they keep getting away with this.

Called Autoking to do roadworthy , they came 1 hr earlier than arranged told me I had to prepay on credit card , my husband had tried cancelling booking before appointed time unknown to me as he couldn't get tyres, when my husband arrived to tell him he didn't want the roadworthy done the guy from Autoking refused to give me a refund , after contacting office they told me call out fee was 99 regardless if we cancelled . I'm not getting refund . Never again I would not recommend them to my enemy.

Dennis came out to my vehicle, was here within 20 minutes of me calling the main line. Dennis did a great job, got straight into it and 'fixed' the issue no problem at all. I would recommend auto king to anyone in need of a mechanic and I will certainly be calling them again.
