I ordered an M 240 from Lisa in November last year and throughout those five months waiting for the camera she and Brad were patient with my impatience. I have never bought an item from Berger Brothers, but decided after reading the customer reviews that I would rather deal with a small shop that emphasizes customer service and individual attention over a big box store. I know now that I made the right decision. Brad even shipped the camera overnight UPS; I had asked for a three day shipment. That's going the extra mile. If you're looking for Leica gear give this shop an opportunity to serve you. They won't disappoint.

I made my first purchase from Berger Bros. recently. After contacting multiple stores to get information on a camera with limited availability, it was nice to talk to Lisa M. from Berger Bros. who gave me great advice and service. I'm in a customer service industry so I know what it's like to give and receive good customer service and Lisa was one of the best. Unfortunately, there was a minor problem with the shipment, but having an actual person to contact helped rectify the problem immediately. In the world of amazon and large online retailers, getting to deal with an actual person (not outsourced) who not only seemed to enjoy working for the company but also enjoyed the products they sold was as refreshing. I'm very happy I bought my camera through Berger Bros.

I purchased a Panasonic AGHMC 150 video camera from Brad Berger at a very low price. Brad sent the camera out in an expedited manner and I received it quickly in perfect condition. I also got some Promaster 16GB SD HC cards in the same order. I am very happy with the prices and, especially , the service of Berger Bros! I have used them many times before and will again. I recommend them to all my friends.

I have nothing be good things to say about my transaction with Berger Bros. I had been looking for a Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro lens in Nikon mount for a little over a month. All of the sites I normally order from on the Internet had been out of stock for over a month. The very helpful staff at Berger Bros. took the time to check inventory for me, even taking the time to call their other store. I placed the order right away, going with the free ground shipping. Since it was Wednesday, I thought I wouldn't see the lens until Monday or Tuesday. To my delight the lens arrived on Friday afternoon in perfect condition. I have spent the weekend shooting with the lens. Hooray for Berger Bros!!!!! I WILL order from them again.

Fantastic service, Olympus E-P1 arrived in just two and a half days in excellent condition. I will always purchase my photography equipment at Berger Bros. from Brad in the future.

I ordered a Olympus E 620 on May 15 and received it on May 19. This was my first purchase from Berger Bros. They did call me to confirm my order and my address, Also asked if I needed anything else like batteries and so. But at no time did I feel any pressure to buy anything else. I really felt as they wanted to make sure I had all I needed for I purchased the body only. I have used the camera for over a week now and love it. With the great service I received. I will buy from Berger Bros in the future.

I have been a customer of the Berger Bros for many years. I have purchased mostly all of my camera equipment from then.
I have attended several instruction sessions at their two stores and have always been satisfied.
The last class I attended I won a prize and was told that I would be sent a Lensbaby in the mail. I forgot about it for several weeks, I already owned a Lensbaby composer and all the accessories. On day I realized I did not get my prize. I emailed the Berger Bros main email account and asked about the prize.
Well, Brad Berger (the Owner) contacted the company that was supposed to forward the Lensbaby, they in-turn contacted me and In one week I had my Lensbaby which they (Berger Bros) let me exchange for another accessory that I did not have.
This is a great store with reasonable, fair priced equipment,the employees are experienced, helpful people who do not try to sell you equipment that is above what you need.
It has been my pleasure to recommend them to my friends.

At a local astronomy club star party, we were comparing different eyepieces that various members had acquired in recent months and one member pulled out a Meade Series 5000 SWA 34mm eyepiece and mentioned that he had gotten it at the bargain price of only $99 (it's a $200 eyepiece). I tried it out in my Meade Lightbridge 12" telescope and was very impressed at how well it worked out on my particular telescope.

So after I got home that night I went to work online to see what kind of the deal I could find on that eyepiece. The next day I finally hit pay dirt with Berger Bros Camera! Not only did they have it in stock but at the incredible price of $99 with a reasonable $8.95 shipping fee (it's a large, heavy eyepiece).

I placed the order right then and there and the next day I got a call confirming my order and validating my credit card (smart way to do things on their part). A few days later the eyepiece showed up just in time for the next star party (we have 2 different star parties around the new moon, instant gratification!). It was fantastic!

I'm a very happy camper and am so grateful to find it not only in-stock but still at the sale price from last fall. Ordering from Berger Bros Camera was real simple and I liked that they validated my credit card transaction before running it, I'll certainly be making future purchases with them!

I was in market for a Canon 6D or Nikon D600. So I searched for Camera store in Long Island and came across Berger Bros..Interesting their price was competitive and when I checked here on reselleratings they had all five stars from every customer who had experience with them. So I decided to give them a try. I have to say it has been a pleasure dealing with them. In these days we do business online and wait for the mail man or Fedex/UPS to deliver our stuff I have almost forgotten how to shop in a real store. They helped me through the choosing process. Competitive pricing, and great great customer service whether in person or online.
I will recommend them anyone and will go back there. It has become habit that if I need anything related to camera or photography I will ask them and only if it is not available with them (which is rare because they will get it for you) I will ask somewhere else,

What a great experience dealing with Lisa, she made sure my holiday surprise was delivered to me even though my printer was out of stock and nowhere to be found. Just purchased new Olympus E3 kit from Berger Bros Camera www.Berger-Bros.com and was really treated well by the owner himself Brad Berger. Not only did he compete with all the big guys he gave me his personal attention, answered all my questions and the service in the store was tops. He even threw in a free Digital 101 and Olympus E3 Evolt class. I ordered my Sony A850-dslr on Monday evening.

Lisa called me on Tuesday morning to confirm that I did indeed order this expensive piece of equipment and to make sure that I was who I said I was. There was no pressure to purchase warranties or anything else.

I am grateful for that level of competence and caring in this day and age.

My order was shipped later that day and the tracking number was sent to me so I could anxiously watch my prize move across the country.

Come Friday, at a little after 1:00PM Mountain time the UPS truck arrived.

The camera was packed exceedingly well, the package was sealed and all contents were inside.

Recently I purchased a high end Sony DSLR and several lenses from Berger Brothers, Their service is spectacular and their staff very knowledgable. Lisa M in particular was of great help. I certainly will order from them again.

I called on a whim to see their cost on a Nikon D700 and talked to Lisa. She answered my questions directly and I ended up ordering the camera and other items I was needing. There was absolutely no pressure and the experience was like talking with a family member. Price was agreed and shipped as promised. My order arrived on the 15th. well packaged with no problems. Today, the 16th. I called with a technical question and spoke with Brad the owner and again it was the same family atmosphere. My question was answered and we had a chance to chat a bit. I just completed another purchase from Berger Bros. I continue to be impressed with the first class service provided by this store and it's staff. It's the first place I suggest to my friends that are looking for photo equipment.
I'm using my third Nikon DSLR from this store and several nikon lens. They have never tried to sell me anything other than what I ask about, but will/have made suggestions to share all the facts.
My last purchase was a camera bag and 14-24 Nikon lens. Brad, the owner took the package to the P.O. and shipped it himself.
Lisa was a great help with the choice of a rolling backpack and lens.
I live overseas and have many choices of places to shop, but this store is always my first and last stop. I know I'll get quality products at a fair price with 10/10 service.

My experience with Berger Bros. (2 camera purchases now) has been simply terrific. They are very customer oriented, accessible, patient with questions, and responsive. They do what they say they will do and genuinely seem to care about the experience their customers have. I would like to single out Lisa M., who handles the call-in purchases. She is extremely professional and nothing but patient with customers anxious to get status on an item that is highly in demand and short in supply.
