We recently returned from an amazing 5 day trip to Norway. It was organised with Best Served Scandinavia and our consultant was Francesca Brown. The trip was totally tailored to our requirements and everything worked out perfectly - including the most amazing sightings of the Northern Lights on three out of the four nights we were there! We had some fabulous sled rides both with huskies and reindeer as well as enjoying typical Norwegian fare and finding out about the Norwegian and Sami ways of life. The hotel was perfectly situated right on the quayside of Tromso harbour and, unexpectedly, all our food was included in the price. Absolutely no complaints at all!

Initially it was a little difficult getting our Tailor-made Specialist to accept that we did bot have an unlimited budget but once this was accepted she worked extremely hard to put together an itinerary for us. She accepted that due to age we did not want too intense an itinerary and found excursions that would be suitable and of interest to us.

I am VERY pleased with the service I received from Best Served, Pippa McCarthy in particular. She was extremely helpful as our booking wasn't as straight forward as I had hoped yet she dealt with it fantastically and had many good suggestions. She got back to me when she said she would to. I would highly recommend the company.

I've never attempted a holiday of this type , but as its a dream of my wife's, it's going to be a surprise Xmas present so as you can imagine I had many many questions , the lovely Maddie who is my contact was a credit to your company , making me feel at ease through my obvious lack of knowledge and assuring me of her continuing help as long as I need it , to say I'm excited is an understatement , well done

I have dealt with Pippa throughout my booking and she has been so helpful regarding lots and lots of questions even before booking our trip. She quoted on several occasions and requoted once the couple we are going with pulled out. She has always returned my calls promptly, if she didn't know the answer she would always find out and phone me back, nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

I was very impressed with the service i got from Maddalena.
She was helpful in her suggestions of the type of holiday and best country to go to to see the Northern Lights. She spent time answering my questions and sharing her experiences.
I would recommend Best Served Scandinavia to my family and Friends and would use them again.

Started with spring flamtrip told agent we have details but after seeing the catalogue happy to book as pensioners need transfers etc we are adding a week hope not more than double price
As airfare included first week. Difficult to book as details never in writing then suddenly book now prices changed no rooms etc discussed issues .paid half phoned within few minutes wanting balance I delayed waiting for detailed quote clearing up issues but eventually as had flu just gave in next day. .We now have tickets no transfers and a few other hiccups re names on some tickets .Agent away on Holiday for a week we were not informed that was presumably reason for pressure.We wiil be leaving day after she returns ??? Stress.and more stress each two days on holiday of two weeks transfers not sorted..

I emailed BSS as my Brother in law had booked a tailormade 3 day trip to Iceland with certain excursions. I asked if they could book us in the same hotel and on the same trips. Within an hour a rep called me having sorted out my request. She had found a hotel directly opposite as his was booked, flights, and reserved places on the trips they were going on. After I booked, really comprehensive details were emailed to me, including lots of really helpful information about Iceland.Fantastic service,really professional.

I am extremely impressed with the service I have received so far in tailoring a special birthday trip for my husband to Sweden. I asked if I could change a few details, reducing the number of nights on the trip to bring it within my budget and this was no trouble at all. I hope the trip lives up to my expectations in May next year!

I came across Best Served Scandinavia while researching a trip to Norway. I emailed them for some information and was pleasantly surprised at the high level of service Maddalena and her associates gave me. Maddalena was key in guiding my stay by providing helpful information about what to do, when to do it and even arranged transfers that accommodated our itinerary. She returned emails prompting and was professional and courteous. Her knowledge of area hotels and events was superior. I would and have recommended this service to my friends and family
