We have had all the windows at the back of the house replaced and the kitchen bay rebuilt by The Original Box Sash Windows Co. From the first visit, to the surveyor's visit and the installer arriving everything went perfectly. They may not be the cheapest but they have to be the best around.

I have employed Original Box Sash Window Company 3 times over the last 15 years. The quality of their work is outstanding from start to finish. The windows make an enormous differences in terms of temperature control, noise abatement as well as security. The fit and finish is excellent and the installation process has been highly professional every time. The installers have been very thorough, efficient and very high quality work. I recommend the Company and their product without hesitation.

We had the front bays and side windows fitted in our Edwardian house in December 2019. These complemented the sash windows at the back of the house that we had had fitted three or four years ago by OBSW Co. The sash windows are not cheap but they are good quality and made of hard wood. Steve, our fitter, was experienced and very competent. He was also polite and most helpful (for example he fixed a previously damaged curtain runner, that was over and above the call of duty). He arrived on time, worked long days and was extremely neat and tidy. He was in the house for 3/4 days but was always at pains to keep disruption to an absolute minimum.
We have one small issue outstanding with the company but I am sure that this will be settled amicably.

We got our Original Box Sash windows fitted last Thursday and Friday by Simon. He did a fabulous job and we are pleased with his work and with the quality of the windows.

The entire process, from the initial meeting with Micheal, progress reports by Phillip, and the fitting by Simon, were professional and to a high standard. Tanya was very easy to work with both in scheduling and when it came to settling the invoice.

The house is finally uniformity warm and draft free. We've lowered our thermostat by 5 degrees. I wholeheartedly recommend The Original Box Sash Windows Company for its excellent service and quality of windows.

We live in a Victorian house and over two separate orders we replaced all the sash windows and then the entrance door in its entirety. All the work was specified to match existing detailing where possible. The work was surveyed and measured very precisely and the installation was carried out effortlessly over two days with minimal disruption. The operatives were very courteous and diligent. The product is of excellent quality and its thermal and acoustic properties are of great benefit. The glass (laminated) gives an added level of security to the house. We tendered the work to three companies and they were a comparable price. OBSWC pre-finish their product and there is very little making good, and as we allowed them to select their preferred installation date we obtained discount. Our house is now complete, but if we were to buy another one we would definitely use Original Box Sash Window company.

We have recently had 11 windows replaced by ‘The original box sash window’ company and we are extremely happy with the result. Right from the first contact the staff were very professional and helpful. The replacement windows are exactly the same as the original windows in all respects, except of course they are double-glazed. The fitters did a fantastic job and left no mess once they had finished. We would recommend ‘The original box sash window’ company, to anybody who is thinking of replacing old single glazed sash windows.

The 2 men who installed two large bay windows (Simon & Thomas) did an excellent job - they worked hard, just got on with it, made little mess and cleaned up thoroughly behind them. The widows fit perfectly. Expensive but a great result

After much research on window companies I chose the OBSW Co to replace 8 large windows and 2 attic windows on the front of my house.
From the initial phone call to the completion of the job everything went smoothly, on time and with the minimum fuss. I was impressed by the manager of the factory in Wales with his attention to detail and advice on paint colours, and particularly impressed with the two fitters who were on site for 3 days. They did a fantastic job and at the end of every day left the site immaculate. The windows are high quality and elegant and I am extremely pleased with them. Only another 12+ windows to go ! which I hope to do next year and will be using the OBSW co.again.

We had Original Box Sash fit windows to the front of our property a few years ago and have been very pleased with their windows to date, so much so we recently had them back to fit a new window in the kitchen at the rear of our property. Again a very professional service and an excellent window which really adds to the character of our property and the room! Many thanks to the team.

My partner had some replacement double glazed sash windows installed by The Original Box Sash Window Co in her house in Fulham. Now we have moved away from there and I have just ordered a set of windows from them for a flat I own. I expect that they will be same flawless quality as the Fulham ones were. Nice straightforward people to deal with as well. I've rather given up looking elsewhere.

In 2015, I had 3 single-glazed sash windows replaced by The Original Box Sash Windows Company. I was so pleased with both the quality of the triple-glazing and the customer service, that I ordered a further 2 sash windows from the company the following year. The new windows are not only aesthetically pleasing but have made a noticeable improvement to the temperature and noise levels in my flat, so much so that I didn't hesitate to recommend them to my neighbour this year.

I had six large windows done by Box Sash Windows and I am very pleased with them. I live in Richmond on a busy road so I have a lot of noise and I was looking to cancel out and the windows have halved the decibell reading within my house (i went for the argon filled double glazing). The temperature is much more even and through a cold winter I have hardly needed to use my central heating. The service by the sales team, payment and tradesman were all exceptionally professionaly. I wish all building maintanence and refurbishment was like Box Sash Windows.

I first used OBSWC when I decided to replace the windows in my Victorian house in Walthamstow Village with authentic wooden sash windows. I had done a lot of research about different companies and concluded that this company was probably the best. From my initial meeting with the local estimator, through to the fitting process, I was impressed with the professionalism of the company and the excellent service provided. My new windows greatly enhanced the appearance of my home and also attracted plenty of positive comments from neighbours and passers-by. For my second round of window replacements I was persuaded to use a different company which was cheaper than OBSWC. It was a mistake; the windows are inferior to those supplied by OBSWC in terms of noise reduction, insulation and visual appeal. I have subsequently had more windows installed by OBSWC and I am just as delighted with the results as I was first time round.

I needed a copy of the invoice for my seven large windows I purchased from the Original Box Sash Window Co twenty years ago. Amazingly they were able provide me with a copy from their archives. I thought I must write a review as I have just had the outside of the windows painted for the first time since their installation twenty years ago! The decorators said the paint finish had been really very good and that the frames were extremely well made. They look fantastic and brand new. I have the evidence that they are amazing windows.

I have used The Original Box Sash Window company on two different occasions to replace sliding sashes and to fit a new front door. On both times their attention to detail, craftsmanship and courtesy were outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
