Bradford Exchange Checks

I orderd printed checks from them and 4 weeks later they still have not shown up. They did offer me a refund but what about my checks in the wrong hands now? How could a company be so careless that the can't track your order. Wrong wrong.

I purchased checks with a BOGO deal only to receive an email a week later that because I had purchased checks from Bradford in 2009, I was not eligible for that deal. My new charge was more than twice the original. I immediately responded and asked them to cancel my order, but was told that my checks had already shipped and thus couldn’t be canceled. I’m still arguing for a refund.

I order checks over 6 weeks ago. I was told it would be 3 more weeks.The supervisor told me there wasn't anything she could do to speed up the order.

So excited about the design I found and that I could get a box of singles for $3.50 and labels for $7.99 with free shipping. Yeah, NOT. Pay no attention to the big flashy signs that say things like WOW YOU SAVED $24.95 and you'll see on that last page in the tiny letters, those checks go from $3.50 to $8.99 and they also snuck in a $3.95 "handling fee" on each item. WORST BAIT AND SWITCH SITE EVER. Really, there's no excuse to do business this way. I called back immediately and cancelled my order.

Don't waste your money it been 45 days and i have not received my checks, i called them the said was shipped and it take from 10 -15 days..... still no checks

The only reason this review gives them one star is because the system will not allow me to give them zero.

I have been summarily dismissed, hung up on, placed on indefinite hold and otherwise jerked around.

And at the end of it all they refuse to ship me checks for which I have already paid (money is gone from my account). Further, the company has asked for some very personal (and IMHO illegal) information without which they claim they will continue to refuse to fulfill my order. This company cares not one iota about their customer.

Something tells me I will have no luck getting a refund.

For the past 4 days I have tried to cancel my order spoke to a person from your company for 2 days via email she kept telling me to wait todays later she told me to call you I called your company 4 times and could not get thru 1rst time I was told that your company had no lines available , called 2nd later yesterday waited 20 minutes no one answered called 3rd time waited 35 minutes no one answered, called 4th time waited 24 minutes no one answered finally gave up. Called today again put on hold no one answered. I DON'T WANT THE PRODUCT NOR THAT MONTHLY WARRANTY.

Okay so I will take 20% of the blame on this but they own the other 80%. I place my very first order through them online. I didn't even see an option to upload a check image or to order by phone. I only learned that they were available after the fact. THe problem is that when they ask you to input all your number information they give to a sample to the side with the highlighted number you need to input. So I entered the numbers based on what they have highlighted. Then at teh end when they give you a sample check to review, they do not use your numbers they use zeros for the routing number and check number and 1234567890 for your account number. Basically they do not let you review the numbers you input into the system. If they had I would have caught the error and corrected it. But to make it worse even if they did let you actually preview your checks, the system doesn't let you back up to the page. I know this because I realized that I wrote the wrong starting check number "419" instead of "421." I decided to just void the duplicates and make do. Well now I'm out $13 and time, and I'm out of checks with bills that need paid. REALLY this company is not worth the risk. Fork over a few extra bucks and and order from a more reputable source!

I had ordered 4 boxes of duplicate checks. It was suppose to be around $18 bucks. I looked at my bank statement that they were charging me for the full amount of $65. I called them and they said that I had ordered before and that it "pops" up and notifies me that I have ordered. It absolutely did not notify me at all. I called them and managed to get a 50% discount but really still wasn't happy that I had to pay that much. The lady said that it states it on the program. I asked where and should could not tell me. I looked at the website and pricing and it doesn't say that if you have previously ordered you do not get the discount. They are full of it and I will not order from here again. Like others have said it's a "Bait and Switch" scenario.

I ordered the BOGO checks just recently and never received my 2 free ones. Called customer service the same day I got the checks in the mail. Although the representative had a pleasant tone, she couldn't solve the problem. I had ordered online and apparently the wrong number of checks was ordered. Rep said I had to pay for another set of checks to make 4 boxes. Was put on hold for 30min. just to have her supervisor tell me the same thing. These checks are expensive with all their added on fees. This is definitely a bait and switch company. Shame. I have ordered jackets and wall plates from them in the past. Never again. They just lost a customer.

I ordered 2 boxes of checks at $6.99, 1 box was suppose to be free, but they tacked on a and long fee of $5.90. I've only received 1 box and they misprinted my information. They refuse to send me a copy of my order to verify that this was my mistake and not their own. Also according to the description a box of checks includes 120 checks. My box has 119, no big deal but where is my 2nd box?? I will be reporting to this fraudulent company to the Better Business Bureau.

I waited a month for my checks to come. Nothing. When I called the customer service rep gleefully told me that they ship with usps, no tracking available and that it’s quite possible that someone has my checks and could use them fraudulently. She then told me she could replace the checks but that the only shipping available would take 10-15 business days. I requested a refund and will cheerfully follow up with my bank if it doesn’t arrive.

About $65 for 4 boxes of checks on an intro offer! Much cheaper than the bank, excellent quality and variety of designs to choose from. I would highly recommend.

I ordered checks from them, scanned a picture of my current checks so my info was uploaded to their system. New checks came and they misspelled my last name! I called to complain and was told that since the order was placed online there was nothing they could do about it. They made the mistake but refused to correct it. What good are checks if the last name is wrong?! If I could give negative stars I would, their customer service **** and I would never recommend them to anyone!

I called to order my checks because I didn't want an adress on them so "Fast Freddy" said I would be charged more over the phone..after a long conversation my 4 boxes for $9.95 turned into $80 then $60 for shipping, taxes and other up charges...When I got the email I was charged $18.95 for some security company charge. I also saw Bradford charges in and out of my bank acct 3x. I called to say I never ordered this security and was not comfortable with them going in and out of my bank acct so many times and to cancel my order. Of course she said the checks are already printed and I could not cancel! I just got my package from them and I will be returning ASAP! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I have been in contact with my bank and even shut of the card they charged 4 days before they charged my acct. BEWARE! My bank is on the case now to the fraudulent charges!

I received my order in two shipments. The second shipment had a misprint on the product. (Was mailed correctly and the 1st set of items were fine.) They are refusing to correct the misprint stating this is my error!!? Terrible!! Save yourself the troubles and the money - go elsewhere!!!

The check # should have been over 7,000 and they started the check at 715. The sequence number was correct in two different locations on my on-line order but they claimed because I placed the order on-line they couldn't replace the checks unless I paid for them again.
Bad quality, bad customer service. Avoid this company.

I ordered checks and sent correct information and still haven't received my checks it has taken over a month to do they steal personal information and poor customer service will not cancel or refund dont buy from them

I don’t think I ever ordered checks from them before, but after placing order I got a email say that my order was 1 1/2 times higher then when I placed the order. I called them the very earliest i could the next morning and they said that they couldn’t cancel the order that it was already at the printers... but 1 1/2 weeks later I finally got the email that the order finally shipped, I think Bradford is a rip-off. Stay away don’t trust them.

I had ordered checks from then when i tried to find my recent order.It wasnt in their system,I then ordered another set,Oddly the next day the other order had shipped.I sent them an email to cancel the order didnt respond.Then i called them unable to cancel my 2nd order,If you would of called we could of cancelled it after i sat on hold for over half and hour,Terrible company.Now i am stuck with 2 sets of checks with the same numbers
