Button & Sprung

After spending weeks and weeks, both online and offline, looking for a bed I came across this company. Somehow they never came up on any previous searches, of which there were many. I ordered some fabric samples and they arrived very quickly. Wasn’t sure about the shade that I wanted so needed to order more. Those were also delivered quickly. Was very apprehensive about ordering a bed from the internet without having seen it and also worried about whether the separate parts of it would fit up the stairs. There is a low point which had prevented access for quite a few items in the past. Emailed B&S to find out the size of the packaging numerous times for different beds and all the replies were answered within a few hours. I was impressed by their fast response and helpfulness. I also needed to ring them and they were lovely and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Eventually I went for the Burdock....it was plain and the headboard would hopefully fit up the stairs.

I have now had this bed for about 18 months and I love it. Seems very well made. Feels rock solid, in fact I haven’t managed to move it an inch. No idea how I am going to clean behind it. Doesn’t squeak, doesn’t wobble, doesn’t move. The headboard is so comfortable when you are reading in bed, and it looks higher than on the website. Quite a nice height really. The delivery men were wonderful, arrived when they said they would and assembled the bed in no time at all and removed all of the packaging. They also put my new mattress on for me (bought elsewhere because I couldn’t get to a B&S showroom) and one of them one was still cheery even after injuring himself. (Should add that my new mattress was made for one of my other bed bases and is shorter than the length of this new bed yet it looks fine, doesn’t move about on the bed and causes no problem at all. It did cause a problem on my slatted base bed which I replaced with this B&S bed).

Honestly couldn’t fault this company in any way from beginning to end. Customer service and quality of product are the two most important factors for a company nowadays and it’s rare to find a company excelling in both, but this company manages it admirably. So many companies fail at both that it was refreshing to come across Button and Sprung. Can’t recommend them highly enough....just wish that they made sofas now.

Delighted with teenage son's bed - so was he and it seems to have survived the enthusiastic leap he made onto it when it arrived! Ordering was easy, communication and delivery staff first rate. Now we just need another one for the guest bedroom...

Ordered a regular mattress which I found too soft, a month later they agreed to replace it with a firmer one without hesitating. Also had a problem with my payment (my card paid twice by mistake) - they called me straight away to tell me, refunded one payment, emailed me a confirmation. Very high quality product, and absolutely excellent customer service. It's rare to find a company with intelligent humans at the end of the phone and answering emails - a pleasure to deal with them.

We have had our bed and mattress for 2 months now and I can safely say it’s my favourite thing we have bought for our home. Worth every penny. The mattress is unbelievably comfortable and good quality. The whole experience with Button and Sprung was excellent. From the moment we first walked into the shop to when the delivery men said goodbye, every person we spoke to was welcoming, friendly and knowledgable and made us feel like valued customers. I can’t recommend them enough.

Having spent many years on average mattresses offered by my Landlords, finally I had the opportunity to select my own. Our experience in Fulham showroom was great, the staff was knowledgeable and attentive, but gave us enough space to test as many mattresses as we want. We decided to go for a combination of mattress and an ottoman bed frame. The fabric selection offered was really wide. Having chosen our mattress and bed frame, we were given an estimate when the delivery could be made. The staff also made sure the bed and the frame will fit through our front door and the stairs by requesting photos & measurements of tight turns. The delivery crew was also really helpful, and carried our new mattress and the bed frame from a really tight staircase to all the way at 3rd floor with no lift! I couldn't be happier with the service and the mattress. I have the mattress for a few weeks now, bedtime is my favourite time of the day thanks to Button & Sprung

The buying experience was excellent - we went to a few other bed shops before B&S and felt rushed and were given the 'used car salesman' tactics of pushing the highest price items on us immediately. B&S have a quiet showroom staffed by a friendly and relaxed team who know a lot about the products they're selling. There is a semi-private 'bedroom' area where you can try out the different mattresses at your leisure with no time limit. You are given a cup of tea and encouraged to take coats and shoes off to better replicate reality. The beds themselves are pretty remarkable. Having previously thought that a mattress is a mattress, is a mattress, B&S show this is not the case. The mattresses are exceptionally comfortable and supportive, and made from British fibres. There is a clear escalation in comfort as you go up the range, and by the time you're lying on the last 2 or 3 in the range before going back to lie on your own bed at home, you realise what you've been missing! I was a little concerned about my several flights of stairs and tight corners when it came to the bed delivery, so B&S asked for a few photos and measurements, which confirmed delivery shouldn't be an issue, and it wasn't, except that the delivery guys weren't told that there would be 7 flights of stairs to climb and were understandably a little miffed. I was fairly sure I'd mentioned this to the sales rep so not sure why the message wasn't passed along. That is however the only criticism I have. Once they got the bed up the stairs they set it all up in about 20 minutes and took all packaging with them. Overall an excellent experience and a fantastic bed.

Everything worked perfectly - customizable design, helpful staff, delivery on time, opportunity to pay 50% when ordering and 50% just before delivery. And the bed is amazing as well!

I needed the mattress quicker than the standard 4 week delivery turnaround. Phoned the Customer Service and indeed received it quicker. Very impressed.

I got my mattress delivered yesterday and it was great, earlier than the planned time slot (probably linked with less people on the road). Very friendly and efficient service. Great customer service prior to this.

Its over a month now since the bed arrived and it is the best decision we have ever made. It is so well made and designed and just so comfortable. We are so glad we chose Button and Sprung and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. We chose 'Lavender' bed frame, King size, upholstered with 'Admiral' soft wool. It looks absolutely stunning in the room. We looked at various companies that made beds but always came back to Button and Sprung simply because of the quality, design and choice of upholstery and we are glad we did. Delivery was first class. Thank you for such a lovely piece of furniture. We love it.

They were accommodating on delivery days, efficient on building the bed once it arrived. It also looks way better than I imagined it would. Good quality bed. Please can I have my other sock now! ????

I'm writing this having had the bed for a few months and just dismantled it in order to decorate the room. It's a beautifully made bed, I was apprehensive about ordering online without seeing it but i needn't have been, very happy with the purchase.

More than happy to recommend Button and Sprung- gave us the space and time to try out all the mattresses in the showroom and then allowed us loads of sample fabrics and didn’t pressure us into making a decision which we did 2 weeks later once we had selected the other colours for our new bedroom.

I had an a 15 year old vi-spring bed and it was time for a renewal. Having seen Button & Sprung in various magazines I took a look at not only the styles of beds but mattresses too. The expertise of the staff was very impressive as were the designs of the beds so much so it was difficult to choose! My bed looks fabulous and my mattress is excellent

The service was great, very efficient team who delivered and set up the bed in 10 minutes and a sound night's sleep in a very smart, comfortable bed!

Our Dahlia king size bed in Seal fabric and the Drysdale mattress were delivered to us on Christmas eve, and I can honestly say it was the best Christmas present we could have bought ourselves! The bed is incredibly comfortable and feels very luxurious. We have loved the whole shopping experience with Button & Sprung, from visiting their showroom, to trying the mattresses & touching the fabulous fabrics. The office staff are very friendly and helpful, and the delivery staff was super efficient and quick, and took all the packaging away. We would totally recommend buying from them.
