I ordered nearly £70 worth house plants from Cambridge Bee in June. Two out of the six plants were cuttings stuffed into soil rather than healthy plants. This is not what I ordered. I can buy cuttings for a fraction of the price. I propagate a lot of my plants and am aware that cuttings and healthy plants have different requirements. Unfortunately I realised too late: one plant has died and the other only half rooted so I have a plant half the size of what I ordered. I emailed to complain (about the first plant) and was told this is how growers deliver plants to keep up with demand. I was offered a partial £5 refund (which I haven't received). I have sent a second email (regarding the refund and second plant) and received no response. I'd avoid this company at all costs. If you want cuttings check Ebay or Etsy.

UPDATE: I have since had a response from Cambridge Bee. I have received a £5 refund plus two replacement plants which were both in good condition. More than sufficient to make up for what I originally received. Rating updated from 1 to 3 star which I hope is fair based on this experience.

Bought a plant and was gifted another from a friend from this shop.
Am very happy with both. They were quite rare and one was one I'd wanted for a while but haven't had good luck with cuttings. Would recommend and would buy again e.g. gift for others (I think I have enough plants now... :( ... )
