Like many other reviews I too have enjoyed card cookie For 3+ years hitch free. All that changed roughly 18 months ago when I purchased $350 worth of gift cards to walmart. Cards were sent the morning after my purchase(typical). Went to shop w gift cards online and all cards had a zero balance. contacted support and they said they will notify their security team. Cool. Wrong! They said it must take 72 hours for a refund. What? Anyways after 72 hours still no contact from card cookie. Next morning they wanted photos of my drivers license, credit cards, and utility bills. I have never done business nor would I ever again. I'm not sending credit card and identification copies to a company that can't figure out how to run a business. I am more than happy to not get 4% savings on gift cards. Good luck and prepare to document everything waste hours of your life. Cheers.

This site requires you to share government ID despite receiving credit card address match and ccv match. This site holds monies for days and only alerts you to order hold if you ask. I would not use this site.

Avoid! I bought lowes gift cards from them in Good faith and I got bad cards in return. 7 cards didn’t work. They said there was nothing they can do since my purchase was over 100 days ago. Clearly they are selling fraudulent cards or have such little security that makes buying from card cookie a complete rip off. I hope they feel good about themselves for suckering someone out of $350. Don’t waste your money. Scam artists!

I have used this site for many years now. They still have great prices but over the past year, digital delivery of gift cards has been suspect. Previously they would arrive within 24 hours, many times within an hour. Now I have to send a message to support asking for an update. Upon doing so the cards arrive promptly and without issue but it's frustrating that I have to "remind" them. I've asked multiple times if there is an issue with my account that can be corrected but haven't received any update on that to date.

I've been using this company for years and I love them! They don't have a wide variety of gift cards, but, the ones that they do have is usually the best price compared to other discount gift card sites. I use a few. I think this is a small company and what I hope for the future is they offer a wider variety of gift cards, Paypal as a payment method like other sites that I use, and being consistent with getting my gift cards fast! Sometimes I get my gift cards right away but many times a review have to happen even though I use the same two cards to make purchases. I usually buy the gift card when I'm ready to use it and it gets very annoying waiting around until someone reviews my account and can't get a hold of anyone on the weekends. Anytime, I've had an issue with a gift card which wasn't often, it was corrected in a timely manner with either a refund or replacement card. Overall, great company

My family has been purchasing with cardcookie for years. We've spent thousands of dollars with them and always been happy with their service. Suddenly, we had to contact them to fix a mistaken purchase from the wrong company. I asked if I could transfer to a different card or to find some solution. I was promptly ignored. They refunded my original order, then blocked my account from making purchases. I have contacted [email protected] several times since then. They said they would help and then proceeded to ignore me after that. So heads up to all buyers out there. Be careful with your purchases. Unlike every other company out there, they will not be understanding. They will block you even if you have been a long time loyal customer

After buying cards for a couple of years and having no problems, all of a sudden my orders are canceled and they want my personal info. DL, SS#, etc. for an ID service they are using to verify credit cards. I sent in a utility bill for verification. Emailed and asked to speak to supervisor and AM IGNORED.

Cardcookie canceled my order three times (after they got my credit card info), due to their inability to accept my credit cards through their card processor, Stripe. Their faulty and burdensome customer "verification" process is ineffective and requires undue amounts of personal information to be submitted, including pictures of driver's licenses. The order process is the worse one I have ever had via online purchase and due to the amount of personal information they require, I'm suspicious of the company.

Avoid! They need your driver's license to be uploaded to some weird site, then need your credit card statement and then some weird mechanism to verify some other very personal info, and still waiting for the card to be sent, after a week after I placed my order. Buy only if you have a week to kill with senseless back and forth emails, o money to waste!

This website is great until you face problem with them, which seems like it happens frequently when seeing all the negative comments.
I will just mention two general things that can happen to anyone who uses this service.
(1) Once you purchase something from CardCookie, don't dream of getting any refund. In their website, they tell you to "contact the customer service" and when you do, a rep will tell you they don't do refunds. Period. Don't try to explain your situation, cause the reps here are close to bots.
(2) They have the shadiest verification process. I have never seen a website where they require so much for verification. God knows what they will do with uncensored picture of my ID and photo. I provided them everything they asked to save a few bucks, now I truely regret..

Listen, anybody who has anything bad to say about this company is either a scammer who the company cut off and refuses to deal with, or maybe you're rude and they don't want to deal with a headache. Just treat them the way you want to be treated. I've been buying gift cards in bulk for over three years now from them. I buy from them every day as an e-commerce seller and as of now I've purchased almost 50,000 gift cards from them. THEY ARE 100% LEGIT. Amazing customer service and they always make things right. Don't think you're going to pull a fast one on them though because they aren't idiots and they have great verification methods. They are experts at what they do and they won't allow someone to take advantage of them, as it should be. They have very high security, which some complain about in reviews. However, think about the nature of the business. They sell discount gift cards folks. They have to be cautious and have tight security. Just be patient with them and try to be understanding and they will save you money.

I bought quite a few cards through these guys and their customer service was pretty good at first, however, I started getting more and more fraudulent cards with them, and it seems they got to the point they just didn't want to deal with me anymore, and so all of the sudden my credit card just "stopped working??" Dan and team that had previously been helpful and friendly, just stopped even responding to my emails... pretty pathetic! I considered myself a very good customer, and had initially felt good about supporting this smaller company, but am so glad I am done with them now! They are not honest people and I would never recommend them to anyone! If they can pull this kind of crap on me, then believe me, they can pull this crap on anyone! No customer fidelity at all! For someone that's been in the secondary gift card market for some time now, and knows quite a bit about this market, there are much better gift card resellers out there. My recommendation... don't waste your time on Card Cookie!

I buy discounted gift cards quite regularly. You may experience a problem with a card every so often. Cardcookie is the absolute best at immediately rectifying any issues. They're my preferred site for discounted cards. I only use other sites when they don't have the card/retailer I'm looking for.

Card Cookie is very frustrating to use. I tried to buy a gift card and it made me go through 3 verification steps and the final one was very confusing. I was looking on my CC statement for far to long and couldn't find how to finish/verify my order yet I was already charged for my purchase. I will not be using them again. I wouldn't recommend them.

I've purchased at least 50 cards from card cookie and they never disappoint. The card typically arrive within 2-5 minutes. 2 cards that I received did not have the proper amount and they fixed both of them within hours. They are very responsive to emails and will guide through very quick and easy troubleshooting, if that doesn't work they will replace the card or refund your money. I cannot say enough good things about their service. I will continue to buy cards from them.

I brought most of my egift card from this site. I receive the egift very quick. The discount is good then other. Returns was easy as indicated on their return policy. Overall service is excellent for me.

I use Card Cookie frequently and they always provide a great value.The only complaint that I have is they fail to communicate when there is an issue. They will always resolve an issue but will take several days or weeks to respond. They provide a great value and I will continue to use them.

I've bought from CardCookie many times and have been very happy with the savings. I had one card in my last purchase that didn't have a balance and they were able to investigate and replace it at lightning speed. Highly recommend

I love getting my gift cards from CardCookie. The customer service is amazing. If I ever have an issue they respond immediately via email. I would recommend to anyone I know looking to save some money.
