I Have been with Certas for a number of years and before with Emo. I looked online over the weekend and they were quoting 45p per litre which I thought was expensive. I called them on Monday morning and was actually quoted 33p. I advised that I had been quoted 26p per litre and they answer I got was I could ask if we could give you a discount but couldn't promise....... why is the price shown/given not the best price? I have been with this company fro around 15 years and unfortunalty can't see me using them again, and I am so disappointed that I placed a order with them earlier in the year where I now see I paid well over the top.

Good price on oil as always but they flagged an existing rule I’d not come across before whereby you have to clear your account balance in full by August every year. So a large order in the build up to August will mean you have to significantly increase your monthly DD to clear it before August. Slightly annoying.

Waited in eight hours for a promised delivery that never arrived. No notification until I rang them up. No further date given until I rang them up. Then the promised afternoon delivery turned up at ten in the morning. As a pensioner, living alone, I find this lack of believable communication, worrying.

You would have got 5 stars if you hadn't arrived at 06.20 when we were still in bed.
however you delivered the next day from ordering which was a first class service.

I have bought my oil for 29 years from CE and on my last order experienced a problem with my bill. A revised quote was paid but I was later informed I still owed the original price. I am hoping this is now resolved as I wish to continue as a customer . I wish to continue with a confidence I've had for 29 years.

I have only given 2 stars on this occasion because my tank was very low and I am paying for a signalman service and was only informed that I required a delivery when I contacted you.
Fortunately Pearts my local depot were able to deliver quickly.always good service from them.

Brilliant as always, they even tell us if their is a delay in a delivery or canceled to another day so we are not stuck indoors waiting around all day and the price had gone down on this latest order.

We were told the oil would be sent on the following Monday but it actually came a few days earlier, that is why you got marked less, but it wasn't really that important. Many thanks.

Did not deliver on day agreed and confirmed by email day before. Did not contact me to explain why no delivery, ( vehicle breakdown) did not deliver the amount ordered (1500 litres ordered 1000 delivered)

I gave them 5* as they delivered on the day they said they would and they sent a text to let me know they were about 3 miles away. The delivery was smooth and the driver was very courteous. I would certainly have them again.

Driver came roaring across my cobbled drive and slammed his breaks on. not good for the cobbles. He was grumpy because the tank was locked and had to ring the doorbell for the key.

kept to their promised date, informed me the day before when the fuel was arriving, telephone salesperson was polite and friendly, tanker driver was polite friendly and efficient.

Delivery was booked for Monday, re booked for Tuesday, re booked for Wednesday and re booked for Thursday when it finally arrived. Had to knock the heating off on the Thursday am

Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced, I was given a no later of over 2 weeks in advance, I received a text informing me that my oil was due on the 20, as it had not arrived by 4.30 pm I phoned to confirm an arrival time, having been on hold for over an hour I gave up. No one phoned on sat 21, so I phoned, I only waited 45 mins this time before I gave up. My heating oil ran out on Saturday afternoon, I phoned on Monday 23, I actually managed to get through this time I Bly to be told she could not tell me anything. The oil arrived on Tuesday, it then took another 3 days to get an engineer to fix the lock out on my boiler, so yes very poor service, and as it turned out £150 more expensive than I had anticipated.
In short the worst ever, don’t use.....

By answering phones or emails (I sent 2) I understand times are challenging but when I ordered the oil I was given a 2 week delivery date or before. The day before the delivery date I called and was told it would be the next day. 2 days later I called and was told they didn't know when it would be delivered and Norwich depot (I think it was) would call and let me know. Received no calls, sent 2 emails last one entitled PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL but nothing. It eventually was delivered end of last week. The issue is not the fact we are experiencing difficult times, I am well aware of that, it is the fact it is impossible to communicate with the company. You'll wish you never asked me to respond!!
