Ordered a pan for my husband in November. When it hadn't arrived three weeks later, I called. After waiting for 10 minutes for Customer Service, a very bored sounding person told me it was out of stock. He didn't know why it hadn't arrived, but it might (MIGHT) arrive in January or even February. He had no way of knowing. He had no ideas about why no one had contacted me to tell me it was out of stock. Now I am here 10 days before Christmas, back to square one. I'm going to try again with them, to see if they can deliver by Christmas with another pan. I'll keep you posted. Later: Decided to call before I ordered this time, even though it said on the page that the pan could be delivered by Christmas. The same bored-sounding customer service guy told me it could not get there by Christmas. He was very unapologetic, pointed out the area where (in faint orange letters) it said that the item could not be delivered. Refused to admit that there was anything strange about the fact that it said, right below this, that it COULD be delivered. This web site totally stinks. But the poor customer service is what really gives it a "$#@!"

Same as others- I ordered item advertised as "in stock" & "ships in 1 day". 8 days later, ZERO communication- no tracking, no out-of-stock notice. I contacted company, and was informed product would not be in stock for almost another month! I cancelled. They still continue to show the product is "In Stock" to this day! Horrible. Waste of time and effort. Avoid this business!

Still haven't delivered product from X-MAS 2012

Very pleased with the vegetable peeler, (dishwasher safe, good hand gripe, blade always stays sharp) had one previosuly (4 years) but lost.

My husband placed an order for a Christmas gift, and the company knew it would not be able to get the order to us by Christmas. Someone from the company called us and warned us of this. He apologised and even sent a gift with the order. I have never had such good customer service before from any company. In the future, I will buy from Chef's Resource as my preferred kitchen store because they are so honorable and thoughtful.

I was extremely satisfied with my experience with Chef's Resources. I received a great price and was delivered as promised. I plan on doing a lot more business with this company,.

Would've liked to be able to track my order - didn't know when it was going arrive since it was being giving as a Christmas present.

I ordered wine glasses online and received them ingood condition a few days later

I don't write a lot of reviews, but felt it was time to submit one for Chef's Resource. I have always had great experiences when ordering through them. Over the years, I've contacted their Customer Service a few times and have always had a quick response. Shipping has always been quick and in the one instance when something ended up being on back order, they let me know immediately and kept me posted on the timing of their receipt of the item and when I should expect it. With this most recent purchase, I used their price match option and within 2 hours I had an email informing me they would not only meet, but actually lowered the price by another dollar. I highly recommend Chef's Resource and will definitely order through them again.

Our order was placed December 4, at which time we paid for rush processing. On 12/10 we received an email saying our order was being processed and a tracking number would be sent soon. On 12/13, we received the tracking number. Today is 12/18, and the product is still somewhere in the US postal service. So, 14 days after placing the order and paying extra for rush processing, the order has still not been delivered. This is a gift and needed to be delivered by 12/10. We felt we ordered in time, especially with the additional rush processing, to be delivered by that date. it's two weeks later, and the product is still in transit. We are just wondering what rush processing actually means? Is it a scam?

Thank you for responding. Although you explain the rush processing and shipping, you contradict yourself. Yes, the order was placed after 4pm, however one would think that the order would have shipped the next day. Instead it shipped on 12/10, 6 days later. We were fine with the timeline if the product had been shipped even the next day. We are 14 days out and still have not received our order. The refund was offered only after we called today to check the status of the order. Again, two weeks later.

Lee Jarrard from synergy-computing.com says you have none in stock & won't be getting any replacements for 2 weeks. Way pass the 25th of December deadline. Your website stated that these were in stock the day I placed the order. I am disappointed with my experience.

I bought a 10 inch mac chef knife for my husband who has recently been promoted to sous chef and I have to say that it was delivered and it is perfect! I can not wait until he opens it on Christmas morning he is going to be so thrilled :) thank you so much! and the price was great too! FREE shipping~ :)

I was truly impressed at the efficiency of Chef Resource' handling of my order. I am sure I will do business with them again and will not hesitate to tell others that this is an A1 business.

Chef's Resource demonstrated questionable business practices. Late evening 12/31/14 a placed an order for All d5 Clad Cookware (7 piece set) online. This set advertised as available. On Friday monring, 1/2/15 (due to selected online reviews), I called the company and spoke to a male representative/owner and confirmed that the set was in stock and was informed that it would be shipped out on the afternoon of 1/2/15. Approximately 1550 on 1/2/15, the same male called me to inform me that the set was out of stock and I would need to wait until at least the end of the month for my order to be shipped. I informed him that I wanted an immediate credit processed to my credit card. Furthermore, I did not want the company holding onto $600+ for one month. He confirmed that he would process the credit that day. He also sent an email to me with this confirmation. On Monday 1/5/15, my bank account reflected a charge of $604.76 from Chef's Resource, instead of a refund/credit. On 1/6/15 I contacted the company via email (to ensure a paper trail). The company's written response was that it was a mishap in their system and the credit would be processed that day. On 1/7/15 upon my contacting the company via email, their response was that the refund was processed on 1/6/15. At this point, I request evidence of the processing of the credit to me. I further wrote that if I did not get the evidence (including a reference number) that I would contact the BBB after already contacting my bank. Later that day I received an invoice reflecting the credit which was actually dated 1/7/15. As of the writing of the review, I have verified that full credit is in my account. Buyer BEWARE. This company either has poor communication systems or has questionable practices. The discounts are good but may not be worth the lack of transparency or misrepresentations that occur.

I ordered the 9-Piece Victorinox Forshner Knife Roll Set earlier this week and my order arrived today. Very good prices, fast shipping, and quality products. Will be ordering from again.

Six months ago I got a set of knives for my home. They were so superior to metal knives that I just purchased 2 as a gift for my sister. I think they are very exceptional. I recommend them.
