On two occasions I ordered merchandise under "special " promotions offered on e-mail. On both occasions, Chief failed to deliver the offered promotion and then engaged in an e-mail contest with me to try and walk back the offer. Do NOT do business with this company

My purchase of a 511 tactical response jacket was a positive one. After checking many other sites on the web, Chief had the best prices. Even though your site said my size would have to be back ordered and would taken approximately two weeks, I received my jacket in only a few days. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I have already recommended Chief to my co-workers.

I was very satisfied with the representative over the telephone and the direction I received to be able to get the proper items. The followup call was also done in a very professional but friendly manner.

When I placed my order the item said it was in-stock and it would be 8-10 business days to ship. At 10 business days it still had not shipped. I wrote an e-mail asking the status and was advised they were out of stock and when they did come in it would be and additional 48 hours to process. This was all for a pair of search gloves. I had to cancel my order and placed the order with a different company. That order was processed and shipped within 48 hours of original order and I paid a little over $10 less.I will not be doing business with Chief again.

Piss poor customer service....two weeks post order and no information...sent email and did receive a rapid response...my order is supposed to be shipping direct from Chief's vendor...still waiting...

One of two items ordered was shipped immediately and arrived promptly. The second was still not shipped after six days with no indication it was out of stock until I made an inquiry. When I canceled the second order a refund was made promptly.

I have delt with CHIEF for several years and have always been very satisifed with their quality products and great service. I have and will continue to recomend them to anyone needing to purchase products that they carry

I placed my order on the 11th. About a week went by and the order was "pending". I called and found out the flashlight was backordered. I did not recieve a email of the backorder, I had to call to find out. I'm still waiting as of the 25th of March. I'm ready to cancell the complete order. Not knowing the status is troubling.

I have ordered at least 50 different items from Chief Supply. They have always been friendly and accurate in their service. Chief also has numerous sales ranging from 15% all the way to 30% off at least once or twice a month. If you wait for these promotions, you are sure to save a lot of money if you wait to buy numerous items at once. Chief's prices are not the lowest on the market, but if you wait for their promotions, you'll be getting one of the best deals out there.

Sure, there are hundreds of different retailers on the net for law enforcement equipment, but Chief was the first one I used and they have not ever given me a reason to go anywhere else.

I have order from thees guy over 5 times and never had any problems just watch out for back order items will take longer to get in but im okay with that

I had ordered pants from a different company and had been waiting 4 months for them, I got sick of waiting, called CHIEF and had them 4 days later. Great service.

they say only 5 to 10 shipping days tell you get your stuff. But its 5 to 10 shipping days tell they get it to there warehouse from the distributer, and then another 5 days tell it gets to you. If I would have known that I wouldn't of order from them. horrible service.

I placed an order for a replacement rechargeable battery for a hand light. I was told when order accepted that it want in stock and would be shipped in one business day. A week went by and no order received. The online information showed it was pending shipping. I called and was advised my credit card was not accepted. I checked with my bank as to the problem and there was plenty of money in the account. I called back and this time was told my credit card was fine but the product was out of stock. I cancelled the order and have since gotten the product elsewhere. I will never order another item from this vendor. What a cluster!!!

My order was on 24 April and have not received my products. Two of three were on backorder. Have not received an update on my order or an email indicating a possible ship date. I would like to fill out another survey when I finally receive my products.

I am very satisfied with CHIEF company and have been their online customer for quite while now. All my orders, so far, were handled quickly and products are at excellent prices. The main reason for repeating orders is that I know that all items are at one place, will be sent promptly as well as the price is right. If item is not in stock, you will receive everything in stock right away and the rest will follow (when available and without extra shipping cost). All orders are followed and explained very well with emails keeping customers happy and without needs for any guessing. Also, once signed on the web site, all account/order information is kept there for references. All in all, great online store/business. Thank you CHIEF.

Upon placing my first order, I immediately found a 2nd item I wanted to order and placed that order also. I made a note in the order to ship both orders as one. Apparently they did not get the note, because they were shipped as 2 orders with 2 shipping charges. This would have been fine however UPS mis-directed the 2nd package and it came to Ohio, then went back to NC, and back to Ohio again taking 3-4 extra days to be delivered.
Other than that, it was an excellent experience, product is great, and pricing was very good. I will buy from them again.

I appreciate the deals and low prices CHIEF offers, such as free shipping over $100, $20 off, 15% off boots, etc, and also like their clean appearance and layout. It was good, but I wish CHIEF warned me before shipping a small item for $8.99 s/h fee after the larger priced item along with it had been canceled. When the item costs the same as the shipping charge, y'know.

I think this place has great potential to become a leading resource in it's field.


UPDATE:

Their prices are good, but it is not worth it if I end up cancelling the order because after I find out (all on attempts of my part, having not been notified whatsoever) that my item is back ordered and will not arrive until later. Only after another email to them do I find out it won't arrive until much much later. Then, when the awaited time finally arrives, and I email them again asking about it, I receive no response, 5 days later, no response, even after telling them that I needed the product for an exam and that I was waiting on them. This sucks. They need to get on their game with letting customers know if a product is unavailable until ____ months later. That is not okay. At all. I am pissed.

Oh, and another note,
When I tried to email them about this, my email got rejected! They didn't even receive it, because they had blocked my email due to "rejecting banned content." The worst thing I had said was that I was "less than pleased with the quality of care received." This customer service is unreal. Apparently they will reject all emails that sound like complaints so that they don't have to deal with any real customers that need help.
