City Color Cosmetics

I rank City Colors as the makeup you find in stores like Family Dollar. I hv purchased several City Color makeup items from Dollar Tree. Cheap does not equal bad but I'm not about to lie to you. This is BSS quality makeup kind of like Kiss, Ruby & Kisses. The price is budget friendly and I do hv mixed feelings I ordered a Metallic Cream eyeshadow set from ipsy for 10.00 They were in little clear cubes but when I opened them theyet were very dry globs of product. It had the appearance of smooth cream eyeshadow but once you popped the clear cover off that's when you saw just how little product you receive and the true appearance. The makeup is inexpensive yet it is on the same level as Jordana makeup even Wet n Wild is better. I think you just hv to not expect too much from this brand. It's hit or miss. I am very skeptical about makeup found in my local dollar tree and once it has found its way into ipsy subscription boxes it is thought to be high end. If you remember NYX is a BSS brand that I use to buy for about 1.99 don't believe me I can send you pics of my eye shadow palettes, chubby eyeshadow sticks, and lipgloss/lipsticks. Give it a try but don't believe anyone that says it's anything other than what it is. It's not a Bobbi Brown, MAC rival.

This brand has some lovely products for low prices. I do find their pigmentation to be lower, but this can be adjusted by wetting my brush or layering the shades. Love their eyeshadow (lots of shades to choose from and blend with), great palettes with lots of options as well. They have nice balms and lipsticks as well (again the pigmentation is a bit lower, but great for the price you're paying).

I'm from United Arab Emirates, I purchased several cosmetics from city color, affordable prices and good quality, I really love it. Everything arrived in good condition except the foundation, I think because of the pressure while transfering and the hot weather it damaged, it was verry well packaged but I don't know how quarter of the foundation comes out, and it has a very stinky smell, as I said it's because the pressure or the weather or maybe both!. Anyway they returned to me the amount of the foundation. The others are perfect I'm so happy with it. I hope if they could ship it directly to me it will be better, because for this order I tend to use my Shop and Ship account to receive the order. Thanks city color, I adore your products.

I ordered from their site and my package was delivered to the wrong address on 1/25/16. I contacted the company and they replied by telling me my address was fake. In one email they proceeded to tell me I was lying about where I live. My county changed my address over a year ago and unfortunately it's the same address as 3 blocks away. The only exception being, mine is 5th Place, theirs is 5th Court. I responded with county links verifying that my address IS IN FACT CORRECT. My husband then went to the gentlemans home where it was delivered and was informed they sent it back. I have not heard back from their customer service and I'm extremely unhappy. I think I'm more upset with their initial response and how rude they were. I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING FROM THEM AGAIN.
