We just discovered Classic Cottages two years ago
We were so impressed by the helpful service when booking
Each of the three cottages we stayed in were very well presented and immaculately clean
Extra touches such as flowers and biscuits were provided and even
Refuse and recycling were well taken care of
When we had a query over a need for anything extra one of the staff supplied it right away

I used the classic cottages website to book our 2018 holiday. The service is excellent. I found it so easy to book our holiday through the website and a very quick response to any questions and payment.

We've been booking through Classic Cottages for over 20 years and have always been very satisfied with the service and cottages. The website is brilliant, easy to navigate, lots of photographs and the information supplied is detailed and always accurate. What you see is what you get. The standard of the cottages are always excellent both in furnishings and cleanliness. Wouldn't consider booking through anyone else.

First of all, we have many years experience of Classic Cottages.

They have been a pleasure to use and the properties we have stayed in have been absolutely brilliant.

Our experience of their handling of the current Covid-19 challenges has been first class. They have kept us informed and have been thoroughly professional in the manner in which they have dealt with the situation. In fact they stand out compared to the way other holiday companies we are currently dealing with have handled the situation.

In summary, Classic Cottages provide fantastic properties and great customer service!

Today I cancelled my holiday with Classic as if do not do so by 1st April I will loose all of my money, not just 60%. Their website states they are open but called various times & states closed. Tried to move my booking to next year, not interested.

No compassion for current situation, no call backs to resolve. Given all the reviews I am reading I am one of many who are experiencing their complete lack customer service and compassion to this situation.

As someone else mentioned if all those who have similar experiences express their views on the various sites I am sure they will find themselves lacking in bookings for next season & propertied not wanting to be on their books due to poor reputation.

yes, we found a solution.
Not perfekt for anything - but special times need special solutions.
And we will miss Cornwall this year!

Next update when everything is fixed and done.

After more than 15 years and a corona crisis there is only one result -
for them, you are just a piece of shxx.
As a continental visitor you will get not a penny refund for any bookings
this summer.
Their only option is another booking this year or until end of 2021 -
knowing exactly the uk won´t be part of the EU anymore and no rights.
Can you already book for next year - we not.
All they want is rubbing your deposit.
Go into quarantine - saves you two more weeks in Cornwall :-).
A bad joke.
If you want to loose your cash - make your booking !
We do all have to deal with corona!

sorry you can`t understand us, but
we are a party of 5, two over 70, one with handicaps
restrictions with Minack, at beach, while traveling to and from Cornwall, at the shops, at supermarkets -
well, we don`t know - nore do you,
but decions can`t made a week before.....
we booked for august and you start making pressure on us as july guests.
option are change booking - but when..
change a year...because of business we often have just a two week window for holidays, what happens when we ask in january for july 2021 and one week is already booked out?
And a house for 5 is definantly too expensive for 2 in high season.
And you can not or will not understand?

What happens when there will be a no deal brexit...
with eu travel rights?

If you want to rent a house, you will have a perfect contract in seconds, everything perfect listed !
Now - they gave you options, not accaptable, but with no deadline to decide, if you ask - no answer.
Different email-adresses, different staff member any time ....no wonder they are lost.
Speechless used to be the new game of them.
So they betray not only us as well as the owner of the holiday house.
Maybe losts of guests from the UK would like to come to Cornwall (who do not have to go to quarantine and don´t want to go to the continent) - and they still say sorry we are booked out.
Bad games :-(

They took a long time to find a suitable cottage for the requirements we wanted & some of the places offered didn't even sleep 2 adults in two separate bedrooms. One of the cottages did say in the information that the second bedroom is only suitable for children! When something suitable was found the process of booking it was quick and easy. When I asked about booking the ferry I was told someone will be in touch which they haven't, so look like that's something else I'll have to do. Speaking to some one I know who booked through you they got discount on the ferry crossing as were able to book at the same time, so I don't know why it should be different for me!

The apartment I had chosen was more expensive but then saw it on your website, started to book on line but need to check out the date so rang up , very impressed how quick they checked with the owner the arrival date, also sent me details of 6 other properties to choose from if wanted a Saturday arrival , I did book online that evening and site was simple also had a very good discount on the ferry and I have had emails with confirmation and ferry tickets , the staff were very friendly and helpful and booking site easy to do.

Had a beautiful cottage last year and have booked another one for this year.
Brilliant service and Joe lovely to deal with. Will certainly recommend to everyone.

3 Thetis Place, Falmouth

We stayed in a house in Falmouth, 3 Thetys Place, in October 2019. The House has a stunning view over the harbour and was fully equipped with everything you needed. As we had some problems with the smoke detectors, we contacted the service, which was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a Classic Cottage for the first time in September. The website was easy to use and great choice of cottages. Quick and easy to book and staff were helpful and friendly and answered our questions promptly. The cottage was clean, tidy and as described in a great location. We would recommend Classic Cottages and use them again.

We have used Classic Cottages for many years now and it would be our first choice should we change accommodation.
We have always had friendly and efficient service from the office. The website is very clear and easy to use, no unnecessary pop ups, very clear and relevant photos, I don't need to see vases, cushions and ornaments I have them at home.
You should be able to feel that you have been there from the photos.

Having used Classic Cottages for the past 13 years, we can safely say they are the best! The booking process has always been smooth and straightforward, with a fantastic range of properties and locations to choose from. Classic also offer really useful links for great things to see and do near to your property so you can really make the most of your holiday. We have stayed at Watersmeet near Newquay many times. The views are breathtaking. It's close to all the fantastic beaches of Newquay and there's easy access to many beautiful coastal walks. Classic is our "go to" company when booking our UK hols. Love them.

We booked our first family holiday to Cornwall last year with Classic Cottages and the process from start to finish was smooth sailing and without fault. The booking process was straight forward with immediate booking confirmation. We also received reminders of final payment deadline and useful information on the area around the holiday property. The property was also a very high standard. I would definitely book with Classic Cottages again and would highly recommend this company.

We have booked the same flat in Seaview, Isle of Wight for the past 5 years & we cannot fault it. Booking with Classic Cottages is easy with only one error with another cottage with the same name in the West Country. I can also pay monthly which helps me to budget for the holiday. Staff are always friendly both on the phone & in person at the office in Seaview where we collect the keys.
We have already prebooked for 2021 already!

We booked a holiday at Portscatho for the end of April to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary hoping to retrace some of the steps taken during our honeymoon all those years ago. Sadly, due to the Government's lock-down, it was not to be so. Our dealings with Classic Cottages have only ever been exemplary. Our booking was made in January 2020 and throughout we have been kept informed and aware of the changing situation by their staff and offered the chance to move our booking to 2021 at no extra cost which, under normal circumstances, we would have gladly accepted. Unfortunately we cannot make such an advanced booking due to other family situations and so had to decline. Following discussions with them, Classic Cottages kindly refunded our monies in full. Our grateful tanks to the team including Valentina, Sarah and Jill who have behaved with great respect and decorum during these trying times. We will have no hesitation arranging holidays with them in the future and will willingly offer their services to family and friends. Thank you Classic Cottages for your professional attitude and help.

Going away with classic cottages for the 3rd year in a row. Different locations and accommodation each time but same fantastic service and cleanliness at each place we stay. Great service, Value and communication. We know whenver we book via classic cottages we can relax and just eagerly await our trips safe in the knowledge absolutely everything is catered for

I have used Classic Cottages for some years now, usually for holidays in Cornwall, either with the whole family or for long weekends just the two of us. On the rare occasions I have used other companies, the properties have never felt quite as good, so I now always go straight to the CC website.
Very much looking forward to our house in Portscatho this February half term with children and grandchildren.
