So I received my contacts with no problem but the first pairs I put in the right contact was defective. it was very blurry and was causing headaches. I removed that lens and replaced it with another from the package and it was fine. not sure if the remaining lenses will have any issues. I am hoping not.

I was happy with the overall experience using your site, but disappointed that there was a $35 processing fee added during the checkout process. I didn't see that clearly spelled out prior to checkout. It would be helpful to state that clearly when looking at the order and while comparing prices.

Fees and shipping make this no deal by far, you can pick these up at Walmart for the same price. You use to be the cheapest even with the fee's. I guess its like every other company you get comfortable with your customers and the prices start to rise, time to start looking for another vendor as the value is not with this company any longer. I hate companies that price match, that just shows how they don't really offer you the best deal to start with.

It has taken me forever, and although the price is great it still didnt off the 5 dollar voucher i entered. I finally got frustrated so you could start the order. Can you take it to 24.95 like it is supposed to be? If not send me a shirt and I'll wear it proudly. Just slightly kidding about the shirt....:) Whatever you guys can do, thank you!!!

I've been ordering for several years from you and NEVER got a discount and the reason is : Its like you PURPOSELY only offer discounts when I don't have the money and you can tell by my order timing that I'm on a fixed income and it cost and ADDITIONAL $20.00 for Processing and Shipping. I KNOW it does not cost $9.00 to mail that LIGHTWEIGHT BOX!!!

their prices seem great until you get to checkout, then find out they charge you $51.21 Processing fee and $5.95 shipping fee -- over $57 in shipping and processing fees? what a scam

Let me first state that I ordered from three different locations since my prescription was ending in 3 days, which Wal-Mart nor Costco were willing to accept. I ordered from ContactLens.com, 1800AnyLens & Contact1st.com. I was afraid that some of them were going to reject my prescription, therefore I ordered from all these 3.

ContactLens.com had the LOWEST price of them all 3, when you buy 4. Individually, 1800AnyLens is the way to go; plus they have free shipping. Contacts1st had a decent price, and you only get free shipping if you spend $99+.

Shipping/Processing wise, it delivered in a timely manner 4-5 days. I received the orders from the other 2 places in 3 days. The expiration dates for the lens were about 2.5 years from the day I received them.

Before I placed the order, I called them to ask for their return policy, I didn't want to bother checking online since I also had other questions. They said it was OK to return in this certain period of time. So I was sold.

But when the time came to return them, this is when I noticed it wasn't nice. They had a restocking fee of 15% apparently on their site, and they would not waive it even when I told them about the phone call. Some of you might consider that it was my fault and that's fine; but the other 2 companies I ordered they told me their exact policy including if they had or not restocking fees. So I just swallowed the fee and returned them.

Weeks later, I get the refund and I noticed that it's missing about $7-$8 from the total minus the 15%. So I email them and I receive a response saying it was charged for shipping since it wasn't refundable. So I replied to them saying that the shipping was free since I spent over $100. I didn't receive a reply for a week. I sent them a 2nd email with the same message and this time they replied:

"Thank you for contacting us. If you order $100 worth of products, your $7.95 shipping fee is waived. If you order $100 worth of items and return $50, you no longer qualify for free shipping as your new product total is $50. It is understood that the free shipping value is included in the price of the lenses you order when your order total is over $99. Similarly, if you order $200 worth of items and we ship them, and then you return all $200, you will no longer qualify for free shipping. Shipping and handling is non-refundable."

This was absurd! I checked their return policy one more time and noticed this clause: "Return products in their original condition (full, unopened, unmarked) within 30 days for a refund less any shipping charges you may have paid.". I did not pay for shipping - I said to myself. So this time I sent back an email saying that what he wrote was not stated in their policy. If it's not stated there, I don't see why they are doing this. It's like following a rule that's not written and that's wrong! In comparison with Amazon if you buy more than $25 of items to qualify for free shipping; and then you do a partial or complete return, they won't charge you for shipping.

Finally, I was approved of the refund.

I would definitely not recommend them, and this is my experience. Maybe if you don't have to deal with their returns this would be OK. But there are better and cheaper companies out there.

Ordered ~29 days ago, was contacted days later that the contacts were not in stock. Three times now the estimate for when they'd receive it was pushed back, and every single time *I* would be the one contacting them a week after the estimate. They offered to ship me partial, but no thanks - when I'd get the rest of the order nobody knows. Bad service, scammy website - don't sell items you don't have in stock nor order promptly for the customers, if ever. Don't bother! I'll be doing a chargeback if things aren't resolved by next week - and I give a *lot* of leeway, a week each time to get things rolling!

I have ordered.from this company 3 or 4 times in the past and normally have my contacts in 2 to 3 weeks tops. I ordered contacts November 17 and at 1st received an email they would ship soon. Then i received an email that they were backordered and would ship in 7 to 10 days. December 20th i called because still no contacts. At 1st i was told they werent sure when they would be in because they brand i use were in high demand and hard to procure. I asked about canceling and they said sure but l w t them check to make sure if they could give a definitive ship date 1st. They came back and said they would ship by the end of last week. Well today i finally get a notice that they have printed the shipping label although not yet picked up. So now with the holidays i will probably bot see them until the 1st week of January. So I am looking at anywheres from 45 to 48 days c rom order to receive. I have called other sites and they all state they have them in stock and can ship immediately and have never had a problem with keeping them in stock as a they are a common brand. With many sites promising to meet or beat any competitors price and seeing as how this seems to be becoming a common complaint for this sight I will now look elsewhere in the future.

Ordered toric lenses which tend to take long (Acuvue oAsys for Astigmatism) -4.75 -1.75 x 60 and it shipped the next day and delivered the day after that with standard shipping to Ohio. The website was easy to navigate and the email confirmations were clear and helpful for tracking the order and printing my insurance receipt.

I nearly listened to the negative experiences of the 1 star reviews on this website, but I decided to roll the dice. During my order process, I called their customer service line for clarification on the total and they were prompt and helpful. The order made it to my house within 3 days of ordering, which is fantastic because I was nearly out of contacts. Their prices are fantastic, even with the processing fees. Thanks contacts1st!

I placed 3 orders on Feb. 13. None has arrived. I clicked on the Tracking Status tab online, and it says "shipping labels" were prepared on Feb. 13, but that USPS is "awaiting receipt" of the lenses. No word from 1st Contact! We are leaving in a week for extended travel. This is my second experience with 1st Contact and I have convince another family member to use them. My initial experience went well but this current experience is very disappointing. No customer service help available on the weekend. Life must be good.

I'm a first time buyer. I ordered my contacts at 4:10 on a Friday and paid the $20 for next day shipping. As soon as the order was confirmed they sent me an email to inform me that they don't process any next day orders after 3:00 on friday and they'll probably process it on Monday. Therefore I'll probably receive them on Tuesday or Wednesday. So next day shipping takes 4-5 days. It's basic math!

usually receive contacts in 1-3 days with standard shipping. been telling my friends for years and will continue to support! recommend checking recent google reviews over resellerratings at http://www.google.com/shopping/seller?q=contacts1st.com -- don't make mistake and pay more from 1800contacts -- contacts1st does the same for fair prices!

Good selection of contacts, but you don't really save any money, as they charge 13% processing fee, plus another $10 for shipping (sent in a plain brown envelope and only about $4 actual postage). The contacts did arrive quickly, though.

Terrible first experience, I ordered contacts on 2/26 and I have not received them as of 3/4. They were not in stock and Although I paid extra for expedited shipping I was going to have to wait. I complained about this to your customer service rep Laura but received no response. I asked her to make this bad situation better by having the contacts sent overnight when they were available. I guess you don't you don't want return business.
