Wrong Product Shipped, Now Out of What I Ordered

It took way to long (3 weeks) for our order of a Wolf Blender to arrive and when it finally did it was a multi function cooker. It took me 3 days to get through to a real person for customer support (Brenda is the only reason this isn't a 1 star rating). But now they are out of the product I ordered and they have not provided any additional info as to when I will get my order. Highly recommend not using this company. I chose it because it is located in Canada and I am Canadian but I regret that now.

Similar to what many here have written, I am having an issue with a product that was purchased over month ago but not yet shipped. Customer support keeps offering me a "deal" instead of immediately giving me a refund when I ask for it.

They will take your money but not ship your items for months. Been waiting almost two months for items and no shipping notice whatsoever yet.

Stay away from that company. Asking over and over again to get a refund after cancelling order. They take money on your credit card with no delay even if the item is B/O. No customer service. Always same automatic emails. Phone number on website is a black hole. Dead end. I will have to ask my bank for a reverse charges.

Item order now listed as back ordered. They take your money instantly and just do not deliver. No delivery. No tracking. No Refunds. When you inquire they blacklist you so you cannot contact them anymore. WHY IS THIS COMPANY STILL ALOUD TO OPERATE ?

So I ordered an Ooni Koda pizza oven before reading the reviews...

One day after placing my order I was certain I got scammed.

To my surprise, their customer service team was helpful both on the live chat and ticket submissions(12-24hrs during covid times).

I received my order in less than a week from purchase.

I believe they might use drop shipping methods which is why it may be a hit or miss if the product is in stock.

Anyway, I have nothing but a good experience to share so thank you cookstore.ca :)

I ordered an item that was backordered, however, when I ordered it, it was not listed as backordered. After a week of no communication, I sent them an email asking about it, they said it would be between 2-9 days. Which was acceptable as it was still 3 weeks to Christmas. I followed up a couple days before Christmas, and they eventually told me the item was backordered and didn't know when it would be in stock. Instead of offering me a discount on an in stock I had to ask about similar in stock items.
I then asked about a discount for my failed Christmas present, to which case they offered me less than 5% off.
They were not corporative at all, and I would recommend not doing business with them.

Selection is good. Product does not ship within outlined shipping on the website. Impossible to get in touch with anyone in customer service. Email notifications are conflicting - delayed shipping, product out of stock, promising to email when product is shipped, and then order turns up with no notice. Pricing is not bad but not the least expensive and adding in he frustration of trying to get information, I would have rather paid more for better service.

Great Product. Well it's Wolf, so can't go wrong there! However, Fantastic Service at the Cook Store!... This company is very easy to deal with, and have a really great selection of equipment for the novice cook, right through to full restaurant grade equipment. Very impressed... I will be back and will certainly tell my friends, and fellow chefs!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE, Charge your credit card for oder even if back ordered and not shipped. String you along telling you items will arrive soon and be shipped. Then tell you they have just enough to fill your order and will ship in 24 hours, never shipped. Diputing charges via credit card company, pay a little more and go to a trusted website/store. Customer service for ppl the have orders is via email only, they will not talk to an existing customer via phone.

I ordered two items from their website that were described as "in stock". Three months later, and after numerous excuses the items still haven't arrived yet. They even created a label but the items were never handed over to the shipping company. Cannot recommend!

The way that this company interacts with their customers and unwillingness to offer updates sends up a LOT of red flags about the legitimacy of this company. I should have shopped elsewhere, and so should you.

Ordered a cookware set Nov. 23, it's Dec 22 today - nothing has arrived. Nothing but excuses. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING from these people.

We will see if I get a refund.

Now I am one Christmas gift short.

You know, there are a lot of reviews on Trust Pilot and on other sites about how terrible the Cook Store is, but my experience was very good. The anger at which some reviewers pour their hearts out, over just a bit of delay in shipping, is impressive to say the least. Let's put some prospective back into this and consider that this is one of the most challenging years for ecommerce sites and let's cut them some slack. Yes, you have to email to get customer support, which is something I wish they would change, but I had always gotten an answer which was polite and accurate from either Chole M. or Lauren B.
Not all of my order has come but they did send my All Clad pasta stock pot, with upgraded shipping from Canpar, and it was here in Quebec in less than 2 days. I am very happy with the quality of the product and it's delivery.
From most of what I could tell, they are very competitive with their prices and most of the time are the lowest price. There is no scam going on here.
We are all a bit anxious and irritated, but that's no excuse to just rant over minor issues and bash the company.

Ordered on November 27th. Charged my card the same day. Emailed over the last week, 3 messages, with zero replies back. All my emails have been professional and calm. Its been 3 weeks and no tracking or updates to my order. What kind of company does not reply to a customer after a week and 3 requests for updates? Stay away. Possible Fraud.

The worst customer service. You can not speak with anyone to discuss a seriously late order (7 weeks). Your only option is to send them an email which they claim to respond to in 1 to 24 hours... it has been 4 days.

You can, however, speak with someone if you have a question before purchasing something. My concern was specifically if they had the item in stock or if they had to get it from the distributor because I needed the item within a certain timeframe. The gentleman I spoke with was clear that they did have to get the item from the distributor but said that I should have my order within a week or two. He then further assured me that I would receive emails updating me along the way and that I could cancel my order at any time if it didn't work out.

I received exactly 2 emails from them. One stating that they were getting the order ready and another that it would be delayed by 2 weeks. I followed up after 5 weeks and was told it would be another 2 weeks. The time frame where I need this item is running out so I followed up by email again last week and have not heard from them.

I called today to follow up and was greeted with a super belligerent sales person who was not at all interested in helping and seemed annoyed that I didn't not know that their supplier was not shipping anything until February or March. The call ended with him hanging up on me.

I understand that these are trying times and that supply chains are not what they used to be but this is where good customer service is even more important. I spent $1800 on an item after explaining that I had a timeframe I was working with and I can't even get a response from this company. Truly disheartening.

Ordered a product in April, which was indicated on the website as being in stock. Later received an email that the order can't be fulfilled due to Covid & supplier issues. Which is strange, as I had this same problem in Aug 2019 without the virus. Went on to cancel the order & have now waited almost a month, with lots of back & forth on getting my money back. Won't be ordering from them again, as they take your money before they have even fulfilled/ shipped the order.

Never purchase with cookstore, I feel like I have been scammed.
I tried to purchase a product, was checking out and put in my card details. The website said my details were wrong, and after 5 attempts I gave up. However, later that day I see I've been charged TWICE, even though the website said card not accepted.
I emailed asking if my order went through, and if I could get a confirmation email. I was told that no order has gone through, and that the charges would most likely reverse themselves.
I then asked if they could make an order since I've been changed, to which they said that they cannot see that I have been charged at all.
It's been over a week and I still have over $160 taken out of my account from "COOKSTORE CA"
They will not reverse my charge, and will not let me buy from them either. I can't win!

Order arrived a bit late but made it just in time for the holiday gift. Unfortunately the package was not handled properly in shipping and was not packaging was not well done. The surprise for the gift receiver was the fact the ceramic was broken. I emailed next day with pictures and details but they keep making excuses the pictures cannot be seen. Last email was 2 weeks ago and no response. Not sure what is going. Am I being scammed?
