Tour was well thought out except for two things collection at Dallas air port was very poor the firm were one hour 30 minutes coming and we had to stand in extreme heat and humidity. The tour to to Horse ranch guide was very poor and you could have found a decent lively ranch l know they are there it spoilt the first morning

Easy to use
Detailed
However, as a UK traveller we were not sent all the booklets, luggage tags and information that all the American/Canadians had been given.
It was also unclear how little it had been marketed in the UK

Yes we have a booking next year,traved with you for at least seven times but we found this last tour hectic , as you. As you change the pace so there was not enough time in the parks,
Hadn't realised there would be so much walking , and with hip replacement found it hard going, we should have had six free breakfasts and we only got four and they were not very good.
Getting back to the booking process it went very smoothly.

Good tour director (judit )
The car service wanted to pick us up ridiculously early (03:30 for a 07:20 flight)
Yet they were late picking us up and even texted me to say the car was at the airport when the driver confirmed he was at least 10 minutes away
Shocking hotel in Riga (Mercure) a (claimed) 4* hotel delivering a 2* service
No aircon (and hasnt been for months according to facebook ) cold breakfast, reluctant catering staff. No one to clear tables or deal with requests Shambolic!
On a positive note the other hotels were pretty good, the coach had usb and plug points for charging phones etc.
Warsaw was great, Vilnius was good, Riga a disgrace, avoid if possible, Tallinn excellent maybe too brief a stay.Helsinki expensive but nice.

I found the booking process quite straightforward, although I would check different flights more closely as we missed quite a bit of our 1st day due to flight times and transfers.

After you've raised a request........... returning your call.......... I wanted to arrive one day earlier. I was told 'we'll have to raise that with the hotel'................... but no one came back and told me it was ok. Then when I rang again ....... the whole process had to be repeated.............. but still no one contacted me say it had been agreed. It was only after the third attempt I got a positive answer and was able to book the holiday

The only reason it’s 4 star instead of 5 was the delay in confirming my transport to the airport which resulted in myself and partner booking a coach. We were told the day after we had booked the coach that we had transport included, we were then too late to obtain a refund from the coach company. Cosmos did apologise for the error however it was frustrating trying to get hold of anyone in Cosmos to clarify before booking the coach ????????

The tour of Canada was fantastic, but the holiday was let down by poor service from the UK, hence we would be very reluctant to book another holiday with Cosmos UK

I was able to book the tour I wanted and fly back a week later so that I could spend a week visiting family after completing the tour.

Charged a fee to change my name on airplane ticket when there were still 8 weeks before tour started and as I said at the time, I was dealing (booked tour) with Cosmos not the airline.

We had to wait over 2 hours before being picked up at Milan airport. Our journey was planned from a airport over 60 miles away when a flight could have been taken from an airport less than 10 miles away with no additional cost.

Hotels, quality of meals , tour guide and driver were first class. Everything ran well plus the weather was perfect. How lucky were we after hurricane Dorian.

Provided a direct flight from Glasgow to Toronto. We only got the direct flight after Cosmos had to change our dates so we negotiated a deal.

WE FELT SPECIAL AND NOTHING WAS LEFT TO CHANCE FROM DAY 1 TO DAY 12

Cosmos provided the usual good booking service, but because I had elected to fly with Aer Lingus via Dublin, we hit a problem when we tried to select seats for the Dublin to Boston journey and return. I was unable to use the Aer Lingus website because the flights were booked through a 3rd party. I made many attempts over several days to contact Aer Lingus by phone & email. The email exchange was complete gibberish, as the personnel responding kept telling me I had already been allocated seats and to use the website! There was never any reply to my phone calls. At that point, Cosmos was very helpful in supplying me with a further phone number for the airline, where I finally managed to speak to someone. It was fortunate that I had checked the Aer Lingus website for the fee for pre-selection of seats (24.99 euros per person per seat), because the person at the helpdesk informed me that the fee for pre-selection by phone would be 39.99 euros/person/seat. I protested that this was outrageous under the particular circumstances and he agreed to charge me the same fee as if making the transaction via the website.
I think Cosmos needs to simplify the process for customers trying to deal with Aer Lingus directly.
