Tl:dr Didn't show up on time with no contact, rescheduled for next day but "may not come, and will have to cancel" and even if they cancel it themselves, will still charge 20% for the service that WAS NEVER PROVIDED. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We requested a couch and dresser removal for july 21 8 am - 12 pm. No one ever came. We never received a call, email, or any form of contact whatsoever to explain why. When we called to ask, they said they didn't know why, but could try to reschedule for the next day. They went on to say that if they were still unable to come the following day, they would have to cancel entirely. When we asked what it would mean for us if it was cancelled, we were then told that we would have to pay 20% if it was cancelled more than a day in advance and 50% if it's the same day, even if they're the ones to cancel. Most utterly ridiculous business practices I've ever heard of, and completely unprofessional.

I wish the rest of the world worked as efficiently as this service. We were at loss with charitable organizations turning us down for our donation of our old but good condition couch. The cost and hassle of renting a trailer and finding a vehicle to haul the couch to another charity or even the dump was adding up. however, with Couch Disposal Plus I was able to schedule removal the next day (a SATURDAY!!) and pay for the service in a matter of four minutes using my phone. We were kept up to date with the schedule and they were on time, friendly and quick. Highly recommend this service for anyone in a similar predicament and would use them again!!

WORST service provider!! They didn’t show up in a window. I called him and he said he still needed another few hours. After waited for 5 hours, another few hours...Ridiculous. I called customer center and he said he couldn’t guarantee the arrival time. Wait, then why they offer time window? I patiently wait during a 5 hours window and still they couldn’t make it. Just get rid of the time window and say sometime on this date.

0 stars. Scheduled day came and went with no response to calls or emails. Then they rescheduled on me 5 times. I issued a charge back on my card. I am amazed that this terrible company is still in business.

They were scheduled to arrive between 8 & 12 but the driver called about 9:30am to say he was having some issues and if was it ok to come between 1pm-2pm. At 2pm still now show caller driver says he was about 20 mins away. We waited still no show he did not finally show up until 4PM!!!

After booking two failed attempts for removal on takl (one never showed up and the other refused to send a second person as required), I was very happy with the services from couch disposal plus. It was less expensive, the communication was clear, and confirmation email and phone call great. The guys showed up on time and sent a message prior to arrival with the estimated time. From the minute I answered the door it took less than 10 minutes for them to remove the couch and carry it out a flight and a half of stairs to the truck. They were profesional and careful of the doors and flooring. I highly recommend the service and will definitely use couch disposal plus again.

I didn't catch their names, but the two people that came over for us exceeded my expectations. Polite, professional, and efficient. They showed up in the time window that we expected and did a great job! Very impressed! This pick up went so much smoother than the delivery of some new pieces of furniture. Fantastic job!

I was concerned at first that this wasn't a legit program, but I was wrong. There was good communication through the whole process. The team that picked up my couch and chair were prompt, courteous, and well prepared. They were in and out in 15 minutes. Great service and nice people.

Only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 is because the movers that came left behind 2 couch cushions and 3 couch pillows. They were all on the couch/loveseat when they arrived.

Although I didn't receive the promised phone call 30 minutes before the pickup's arrival, the staff were accommodating and helped me remove covers and clear the space. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again for similar jobs.

I paid to have a large couch and chair removed from my second floor apartment, and the driver showed up with a truck but no second mover saying that the second mover didn't show up, so because I needed the items out of there that day I had to help him carry everything down in the middle of a very hot day. The whole reason I paid someone else to do it was so I wouldn't have to, since it's not an easy trip down the stairs, I could have done this myself with a buddy had I known I would have to step in to help out. The driver then asked me multiple times if I wanted to help him out the rest of the day because he needed a second pair of hands -- I stayed home from work to make sure this went smoothly, and ended up having to do it myself anyway. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

Our pickup was scheduled for a 4 hour block from 12 noon to 4PM. Our driver did not show up until 9:05PM. We had to keep calling to make sure that someone was going to pick up our couch since we had other furniture arriving the next morning. The driver was pleasant when he arrived and they took the couch quickly, however the wait and lack of communication was very frustrating.

I gave 1 star because 0 is not an option. Horrible experience. I made an appt online to have a sofa hauled away. Received a confirmation msg shortly thereafter. Moments later I for a call that went like this: We cannot make the scheduled appointment but we can come 4 days later. No problem, please refund my fee and I will find someone else. Sorry because the appointment was canceled you have to pay a 30% fee. Wait, you canceled the appointment, not me. Sorry, that's our policy. Luckily I paid through PayPal and I knew they would handle it. Later they called back and said they could come later on the day I needed them. That works, thank you. Day of the removal an older woman and her son arrived with a pick up truck and a trailer. Apparantly owning a truck is the only job requirement. They could not get the couch down the stairs. My husband, who was recovering from cancer surgery, and I helped the son carry the couch down the stairs and onto their trailer. Mind you, we paid extra because we have stairs. The service was horrible from beginning to end. But I am pretty sure the company doesn't care.

I reserved Load Up services yesterday at 2:40 and was guaranteed a pick up today between 8-12. LISTEN UP YA’LL, this was the BEST experience! Both workers were professional the removal of my loveseat was easy and painless! The receipt was uploaded on the spot and a copy was given to myself. I would give this service a 5/5 stars and HIGHLY recommend! It was the best money I spent in a long time!!

The contractor for Couch Disposal Plus canceled on me the day of, and then after I rescheduled they missed their 4 hour window by 2 hours. I've been trying to get a partial refund (just like $40 back for all the finagling I had to do to make the rescheduling work out with my job...) and the manager will not call me back. Emails keep bouncing back. Do not use them.

Hauler appeared six hours after scheduled block of time was over, after our new couch was delivered. The system had clearly scheduled too many jobs for the hauler to handle them all on time.
