Countingup

So, counting up is a great 'concept' but the delivery of such a concept is just flakey at best.

The issues so far:
1. Customer support took 10 days to get back to me and when they did, the contract I had had been cancelled.

2. No IBAN or non-UK transfers or transactions allowed on the card. I assumed this would be a standard Mastercard debit, but it's a pre-paid MasterCard. NOT WHAT I ORDERED! Even after contacting support to ask for a debit card, I was told 'no' abruptly and without any apology.

3. As a business in the transport sector, we NEED to use automated fuel pumps, We can't with the cards and can't even use them at counter service, which one of our drivers found out to his embarrassment! Which we had to reimburse him for at our cost, using my personal account (due to not accepting IBAN transactions).

4.The accountant's hub, where do I start!! The login we were given never works, the account regularly gets locked out (due to slapdash 'security' measures at countingup.) Do something about it, please!!

The only 'saving grace' was that the account was opened is less than 10 mins, but with all these other issues, I can't bring myself to give them anything more than one star.

So I now have a bank account with no money it, that's totally useless to us which, if they TRY to charge us for, think on!!

The hardest signing up process in the world.
Please provide a bank statement dated in the last 6 months to your home address. The claim some banks aren’t banks and have a very picky signup process which at this current rate has taken half a day. Completely false advertising & false marketing that it only takes 5 minutes.

Save your time and don’t bother, they will make your life difficult to join so they’re clearly going to be more difficult once you have joined.

They pick and choose their own customers based on what they feel is the definition of a bank. Bunch of scammers and fraudsters

if you account was frozen and you couldnt use your funds, Countingup are financialy liable.

1. Report them to Financial Ombudsman services
2. Take them to court and sue them for financial lost and profit.

Those scammers need to be taken down!

those people are fly by night gipcies , run away when you still can.
I open my account with them and for no reason, they lock it and froze my money. Lucky for me , it was only 100 £... but still its money.

No phone number to call them, no street address.

100 % scammers.

I choose Countingup for my business banking needs as they seemed the easiest to use.
Since joining in May 2018, I've noticed significant improvements to my banking service with Countingup which has given me satisfaction for the service continually received.

Easy to set up. Great concept for tracking your business and general P&L. However NO IBAN. I made the mistake of ASSUMING it has international transfer facilities. I was trying to embrace the paperless concept but have fallen foul of a basic business need. Being a cashless bank I get. But no transfer facility across borders is a basic need these days.

I am a new business startup who just won a project in Eire. IBAN needed for supplier approval. I now need another bank.

Great account, what else to say, you don't have to go to the bank you get the card within few days a very user-friendly interface on the app everything works as it should doesn't cost much just the job!!
