The resume writer assigned to me, Deb Young provided poor customer service in her emails. I felt sad, frustrated and humiliated by the tone of her writing and she negated herself, asking for additional info, later complaining that she only asked for two links for job descriptions I was interested in. My request for respect and positive attitude was met with lack of accountability and not addressing my major concerns. When discussing my concerns with Justin, the owner, my concerns were minimized and in less than 5 minutes, he practically kicked me out of services, that if "firing" me. Can you believe?

Firstly, they simply used a template that can be found in the first page on their website. I don't think their template looks better than mine, and it was so simple and stupid. My original copy is only one page and well structured, however the one then send back to me got 2 pages. So I question the person who rewrote my resume, why didn't you keep it less than one page (I am entry level just graduated with bachelor degree)? And guy responded that " You should not worry about page number. Hiring managers don’t make important decisions for candidates based on the number of pages on a resume. That’s nothing but a rumor. If I make this one page, it will require deleting very important information from your resume which I do not suggest." Secondly, there were horrible inconsistencies in the revised draft they send back to me, and the structure was definitely missed up! The contents for section A missed up with the title for section B, and the format between each sections are not consistent. The guy responded this " Can you please be more specific? They do not look inconsistent to me. " Thirdly, they did not make any changes to the contents of my original copy, nothings was changed for the words I wrote. The guy said that "Your actual work experience will not change because those are things you actually performed. They must remain concise and straight to the point as they are." To sum up, they always had a "nice" execution for any dissatisfaction (all of them) you had. Finally, this is what the person told me in the last email he sent me "We cannot guarantee anything, but we do know what works best in most cases based on our experience and feedback over the many years we have been in business. We cannot control what an employer does, we are just providing a service."

Justin made an amazing resume with little to no information. I work in a complex field it's hard for me to put into words exactly what I do. Justin took the limited information I gave him and made my resume perfect.

I read the reviews prior and I was leery at first to pay couple of stacks for a resume. But when I tell you Justin did an excellent job!! He made my resume flow and pleasing to the eye! Definitely will send referrals!!!

Very unprofessional. I submitted the information and sent multiple emails within minutes to see if I should add the specifics of the job I'm applying for. Well after waiting all day, I got an email back the next day. I paid for rush service (within 24 hours), so I should have received replies immediately since they should be working on my resume. Instead he waited till the next morning. Well I uploaded the information like he said and waited. After 5 hours of still not hearing anything back, of course I'm very upset. I call the company and instead of saying we are working on it now, they will have it by the 24 hour time frame I paid extra for, they tell me I only submitted the information that morning. Well, I was unaware I needed to submit the information of the specific job, that's why I asked within minutes if I should do that. Instead I got yelled at, told that I was speaking down to him (I'm sorry, but if someone pays you to do something within a short period of time, maybe don't spend 15 hours not replying to questions) and then was told that I was the one who didn't reply until hours later. I informed this man that actually, I replied within minutes and then I got hung up on. I emailed him the proof of me sending the emails with questions within 20 minutes of his initial email to me (which is something of a generic introduction) and he didn't reply until 17 hours later. I told him I'd review him, and was called twice (I did not answer, why should I have him yell at me more?) and then got an email that he would 'return the favor'. Now maybe I was upset, I didn't yell or curse (I have a kid with me who if i yell, she starts to cry, so I know the threshold of yelling was not met to a sensitive child.) A business should admit their mistake of not being responsive. Not exactly what I thought I'd receive when I'm trying to perfect my resume! Edit: I wasn't ever rude or hostile. Actually, he was rude and began yelling at me. I have every right to be upset because the job I paid him to do was not done in a timely manner. When he started blaming me, I was very upset because I've been eagerly waiting to submit the resume to the job. He was actually hostile, calling me names, calling me to yell, and sending me rude and unprofessional. While he offered me a refund, in this case, it's time that is more valuable than the money and he wasted my time- and he will waste yours. Use another company please. He's been intimidating me, and was calling me repeatedly after he hung up on my face when I was mentioning to him that I emailed him back within 20 minutes instead of the 'many hours' he said I emailed him back. While the resume created looked better than my initial one, it actually made things far worse when it came to actually getting an interview. The feedback I received was that my resume looked too busy and it was hard to read and understand what was going on. I was wondering why I was having such a difficult time getting interviews all of a sudden in such a easy job market. It was because the layout of my resume was hard to understand. I tried talking to the guy while he was creating it, but he wasn't very friendly and he was very straight and to the point. He really didn't have much feedback and didn't offer much conversation to go over anything. This was by far some of the worst money I ever spent. I highly DO NOT recommend this service. My advice is to talk to someone who is easy to work with BEFORE you spend the money. I had to redo that resume he gave me and I basically gave away $200 for nothing. The resume writer assigned to me * is the worst at providing customer service in her emails. She does not know how to respond with sincerity. She is rude and only makes the customer more frustrated and not happy. She isn't good at what she does by any means. Waste of money and the customer service # you call to talk to someone isn't any help at all as well. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! She didn't address what was important in my resume - claiming she knows best! The worse customer service there is. Won't recommend them to anyone! Wish I would have read the reviews before hand. Justin did a fantastic job of taking my old mundane resume and giving it pizazz. Any requested revisions were promptly taken care of. Although I am not looking to leave my current company, I feel my new resume will help me when I apply for other positions in house. Job well done Justin!

First conversation suggested upgrading service, which I did searching for best results. I did not receive an expert in my field as advertised. The resume I got back only changed a few words. When I told them I was not satisfied with the service, I was told I didn't understand resume writing. The service was severely misrepresented and a complete waste of time and effort. I immediately discontinued the service are requested a refund. To date, they have not given a refund and still fighting for a refund. A complete waste of money. Do NOT use this service. I've used a different service and received exemplary results.
