Holiday Croatia Villas Apartments to Rent in Dubrovnik Hvar Brac Istria

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Croatia in July 2016. The villa was fantastic and the water was the clearest I have ever seen. Ante, the villa owner could not have been any more helpful or pleasant, going out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect holiday. The booking agency handled the booking with no fuss and no problems.
i would be happy to recommend the villa and the service.

The host was very friendly and accommodating with any questions we had or help we needed during the week. The home was fantastic, suiting our needs exactly. Good location for exploring the Croatian National Parks in all directions. Thank you for a wonderful week.

I had spent hours searching for the right villas for a week in Dubrovnik and a week near Split. I ended up ringing Croatian Villas and spoke to Tara who was absolutely brilliant - picked out some perfect villas, very knowledgeable on the area from trips, things to do, prices of things etc etc. First class customer service - if I'd gone here first it would have saved me hours!

The owner was the best host we have ever experienced He was charming, generous and a terrific cook. He could not have taken better care of us. THe villa was comfortable, well equipped and had wonderful spaces to sit and enjoy the magical views.

The villa was in a great location just 5 minutes walk from the beach and the harbour which had lots of nice restaurants. The villa was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner was friendly and very helpful. We were a family of 5 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. Pool was a little small but fine to cool off in and the sea and beach was beautiful and only 5 mins walk away. Solta is an easy island to reach just 40 mins by ferry from Split but much more peaceful. I would recommend it for a relaxing holiday within easy reach of Split and other islands like Hvar.

We were a family group from Czech republic.We spent one week in this villa near Trogir the second time and we are thinking over to book the property again.
We were very satisfied, the property , the location and the town Trogir in neighbourhood were excellent.
What to improve ?Maybe for the client it would be more comfortable if the the payment could be devided into 2 parts - the deposit and balance due in case of big sums.

The villa was lovely however as we were travelling with three children aged 11 months, 15 months and a five year old we had specifically asked about the suitability of the villa for children. we were assured it was suitable. However on arrival we found that the layout of the villa, the gaps in all the stair, balcony and terrace banisters that a child could fall through and the different levels through the villa made unsuitable for children under five.

We feel that Authentic Villa Holidays gave out wrong information regarding suitability for our needs.

Had we been a group of adults than we would have been much more positive about the villa.

We had the best holiday at the end of August 2015 in this Croatian villa. The owner was so helpful and the area was so unspoilt and beautiful! Definitely would love to come back again.

the service given was very good they knew the resort and property well the overseas rep wenrt out of her way to accommodate our special requests l suppose the only down side to renting is that croatian villas could give guests a groccery starter hamper saves having to struggle with lookIng for shops when you arrive especially on late flights

The office staff were incredibly helpful in advising us on locations and villas when booking our two venue holiday in Istria, which needed to accommodate a week with our two sons and partners the first week and just the two of us the second week. The area was so diverse and the villa near Groznjan the first week perfect. Not easy to please different ages and interests, but we all had a wonderful holiday

I used Authentic Villas instead of air bnb as I wanted the security of some one who had dealt with the owner and knew the set up. I had concerns about our arrival time but was told it would be fine. However, the phone number given to me didn't work in the evening and the owner wasn't given all of my number. We arrived at 11pm not knowing what to do and had a stressful half hour deciding whether to book a hotel or not, until we stumbled upon a key. The villa itself was fab, so I will go direct to the owner next time and save money.

The villa we rented in our first week in Croatia was very good. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the quality of the property was very good. The service from the company was efficient and they were very responsive when we contacted them.

Great efficient correspondence from Sarah at Croatian villas from the start to end of booking. Villa host was extremely welcoming and made our stay enjoyable - she couldn't have done any more for us from beginning to end.

Accommodation, on the fourth floor, was reached by climbing 64 stairs, with luggage, and no lift, which was extremely difficult. It would have provided a severe challenge to an Oympic athlete, let alone pensioners. The whole area was extremely hilly and difficult to negotiate. No advice was given that this apartment was totally unsuitable for those with even minor mobility problems. The Wi-fi in the apartment was absolutely non-existent, and the only place it could be picked up was in the Reception Office - 64 steps down, and then up again! The TV had no reception at all, and neither the Rep. - Nada - nor the Receptionist could make it work or offer a solution. Gisella was excellent

Great little house and positioning in town would benefit so much from wifi especially if kids going and would also be good if they could introduce an oven and please try and get them to set up some English channels on their satellite TV considering English visitors stay you only get the BBC news and foreign **** not nice

First of all I would like to comment on Anita and how friendly and helpful she was in making us feel so welcome at the villa. We arrived quite late at night but she met us with the keys with a smile and full of good information, she also helped us with a slight problem we had at the airport acting as a go-between.....Something I am sure is way beyond hear remit!

The villa itself was absolutely gorgeous, so well situated it was untrue. The photos on the website don't actually do it justice. I was a little sceptical at first as photos can be deceptive but ion arrival it was clear the villa was better than the photos led you to believe.
Everything you needed was within the villa but to be honest we were not at home much, there was so much to see and do within the area!
It was superbly clean and really well finished with regards to the kitchen cabinets, furnishings etc.

The grounds were beautiful, even enjoying herbs out of the garden used to stuff fish we had bought that morning from local fishermen who had just moored up with their catch for the day.

There is a really nice little bar within about 30 metres where you can watch football, as we did, and enjoy local banter with the bar owner,

There are a couple of small supermarkets at the top of the hill along with some great restaurants, Ronoba - Gajeta being just one, we had the most fantastic Pekar of Lamb there!!!!

You really need a car if you are staying at the villa though. You can walk up the hill to the nearest town/village and get a bus to Trogir and then another one to Split and beyond but life is much easier if you hire a car.
I will definitely be recommending this villa to my friends and urging them to go to Croatia and particularly this area and most particularly to stay at this villa.
