I've been with them two years and so far have no complaints whatsover... I've not had to make a claim yet but the customer service is very good indeed.

I've recently moved abroad and needed to cancel my insurance (which I forgot to do before I left the UK). I contacted the team via Live Chat - I was expecting it to be a painful process, however Dylan was extremely helpful and was able to cancel my policy within a few minutes. Great service!

Let me give a little detail to my circumstances:
I came home from work on Friday evening (14/12) to find my house had been broken into & my bike gone. Contacted wiggle on the following Monday (17/12) to start my claims procedure. Received an email shortly afterwards detailing what evidence I needed to send them which I did on Tuesday morning (18/12). Within 2 hours of sending this my claim was accepted & now awaiting the entitlement. Just WOW! I really was not expecting this from an insurance company. All emails were responded to promptly & in a friendly manner (Dylan is THE man), as were phone calls. I can not believe how quick & painless the whole procedure was & made a currently difficult situation into (almost) a pleasure. Can not recommend enough & will be promptly renewing my policy once I'm back on the road. THANK YOU.

Puts me at peace of mind when I'm competing on my bike and the staff are helpful when you contact them with enquiries, 11/10 would recommend to another!

I started using Wiggle cycle insurance this year and primarily dealt with Barbra. Despite having to amend my policy a few times by adding an additional bike, then a Garmin and then a New Helmet and bombarding them with questions, their customer service has remained excellent across all departments.

They have been very helpful and informative on every occasion and have given me the confidence that I am and will be looked after in the future, that said I am hoping I never need to use them.

It's a real shame i had to cancel today after finding out that i actually wouldn't be covered in the event of the theft of my bicycle that i've just bought.

I did everything i could to ensure my bicycle is kept safely but it seems that just isnt enough for wiggle and alot of other insurers nowadays.

i would urge all new customers to seriously read the policy wording and really dig into their requirements and understand if you're actually covered, specifically seeing if your house doors and windows locks meet their minimum requirements.

Here is an extract from the policy wording found within the essential cover

''You must ensure that when your Bicycle is kept inside Your Home, that Your Home is securely locked whenever it is unoccupied by a minimum 5 lever Mortice or Chubb deadlock in operation on all doors; and securely locked or latched windows.

If your Bicycle is left in a garage or storage area attached to Your Home which can be directly accessed via an external door and/or window, these doors and/ or windows must be locked by a minimum 5 lever Mortice or Chubb deadlock in operation on all doors; and securely locked or latched windows. We will not pay any claim for theft of your Bicycle if either the Bicycle itself including all quick release wheels are not locked by an Approved Lock to an Immovable Object or, if any external door and/or window is not locked (or securely latched if the window is not lockable) at the time of the theft/attempted theft.''

In a nut shell, if like me you store your bicycle in the rear garden, locked up to an anchor point, that is not enough, they require you to bring your bicycle into the house every time you're intending on leaving the house which is just insane, if your house doesn't have the required locks as mentioned in their policy wording you're not covered either...

The sheer amount of hurdles you need to get over just to make sure your bike is simply insured for theft is ridiculous.

im glad i found out now as opposed to many months down the line, god knows how many premiums paid to find out that actually i wasn't covered the whole time because of X,Y and Z.

oh.... and if you contact them asking for a straight yes or no answer whether you're covered based on your specific circumstance/situation, expect to be greeted with paragraphs of the same policy wording you've read 4-5 times already as opposed to an answer to your specific circumstance you seem to just get regurgitated the same generalized policy wording for you to make your own mind up if you are or arent covered.

I had to take out new insurance, Wiggle (Dylan) was more than helpful when I had to call them, he even gave me the 25% discount which was no longer available online. Obviously i've not had to make a claim, but the customer service so far has been excellent

We found that the domain for this business is older than two years which could be an indication that this is a trustworthy business with an established customer base and experience in their field.
