Had my order pending from these guys for a month now. Everytime I call, it's : "We'll get you a tracking number as soon as your glasses ship".
Finally spoke with a manager about a refund yesterday and he basically denied me any refund and said they'd get to me when they get to me, that "they're on backorder from overseas". After a few calls, every other place I called had them in stock.
DON'T SELL SOMETHING YOU DON'T HAVE GUYS!!!!

I have been a victim of Tony Russo since the end of July 2010 when I decided to order a pair of eyeglasses with prescription lenses and some contact lenses. They invoiced me 300 and something dollars via email after I gave them my credit card but when I checked my credit card they have charged me close to 500 dollars. They claimed that the eyeglasses "Lafont" would take about two weeks because they are coming from France. I actually received the eyeglasses on the 2nd of August without prescription lenses and well, the contact lenses were no longer in stock- so he claimed. I called to resolve the problem but he was not willing to cooperate. He was mean, condescending and verbally sexually harassed me. He told me that he knew my home address and that he was going to go to my house and f*&% the sh*t out of me!! When I told him that I did not have to put up with this nonsense and that I would call the credit card company for a credit, he went nuts and threatened my life. I hung up the phone and he continued to call me over and over again. My fiance answered the phone and heard his crazyness. On the 23rd of September the phone calls began again- he was harassing me because the 60 days of the credit card dispute were going to be up and he wanted money back. He also pretended to never receive the eyeglasses that I promptly returned to him and threatened to take me to small claims court. Later than night he wrote me an email giving me an hour to call him back or else! Than at 10 pm he sent me a nasty email telling forwarding me a fake docket number and claim report from turbocourt.com. Apparently the docket number/file# belongs to another person who he is having issues with. So basically he forged my name onto court documents pretending that I needed to show up in court. He then left me a voicemail calling me retarded and that he was going to drag me down the street of Brooklyn and into small claims court- he said I was going to love the smelly, sweaty place that I was going to be in for a long time. He then proceeded to send me another message with all my private information and a photo of the front of my home. This is when I freaked out and went to the police at 1am on the 28th of September. He doesn't realize that he has crossed the line and has become a stalker. According to the police this is considered aggravated harassment and he has crossed the line with electronic threats. On top of that I have saved a voicemail of him giving me his name and number while he is threatening me and severely cursing at me. I am in the process of getting an order of protection. This guy has threatened me by rape, knows my home address and has taken the time to search for my private information. I can't even write on forums such as this one because when I do he forwards me my letter and threatens me. His latest is "I am watching you." This is criminal behavior and something needs to be done!!! Please help. I ask that if you have any information about this business and he has threatened to hurt you physically and has verbally abused you that you write down as much information on these forums. We can't give up!!!!

review by Cbella M.

I "chatted" with a representative to find out if the item I wanted was in stock. She asked for a bunch of identifying information (email address, etc.) before she answered my question. Kind of seemed weird, but she assured me that the item was in stock and I could order it. Then I attempted to pay via PayPal. I got a message from PayPal indicating that the merchant could no longer receive money from PayPal. Again, kind of seemed weird. I asked the customer service person how long she expected it to take before that was fixed, and she couldn't even give me a hours/days/months type estimate. Fine. I put it on a one-time-use credit card. I then got to a screen which explained that they could not reply to emails sent from my email domain (earthlink.net). THEN I started getting spam from them, asking if I would like to make money selling designer eyeware. Then today I get a bogus email from Tony giving some lame excuse about how they had one pair of glasses and the frame had this LITTLE crack so he wouldn't sell it to me, and they are discontinued. I am certain they didn't have the glasses to begin with, and am still waiting for my money back. This is a very unprofessional, fly-by-night business.

Response to my request for a refund, from "Tony" at DecorMyEyes:
"GO fuck yourself don’t tell me I have 1 hour are you out of your mind?
Who do you think you are?

I will post a refund you can meanwhile drop dead"

review by Elainegsd X.

In April, 2010, I sent two pairs of glasses to Decormyeyes.com with a check for $14.95 to have the temples of both pairs of glasses replaced. Four weeks later, my credit card was billed $198, and I received both pairs of glasses back. One pair was sunglasses, the other, a spare pair of glasses. Within two weeks, after wearing the spare pair of glasses a couple of times, when I picked the glasses up, the temple broke in my hand in the same exact place as before. I called customer service, and first the lady offered me a discount to get new frames. I told her I had already spent $99 to get the temples on my glasses replaced, but the weld had only lasted for a couple of wearings. She suggested I return them with a letter telling the repair shop to fix them right and replace the temples as I was billed. After they had had my glasses for another month, I called customer service again looking for my glasses. She promised to have them out by the end of the week - still no glasses as promised. I received them back the next week - welded again, no new temples as I had been charged.
I called customer service again threatening an online review about their fraudulent billing for "replacement temples". She told me to choose any glasses on the site at no charge. I chose a pair, and, at her instruction, emailed her the choice I had made and offering to pay for RX lenses. She sent me a message back, that she would give me the frame for $100 off, and the lenses for half price. Another $400 investment to replace my glasses over and above the $99 for "replacement of the temples" that were never replaced but welded on my original $450 glasses.

I would not recommend this site to anyone. They had my glasses for two months and still did not replace the temples as charged - just welded them twice. They never contacted me to let me know they were going to weld them. Then they reneged on the free pair offered to replace my glasses.

Billing me for replacement temples when they were welded constitutes fraud.

I found out too late that this vendor is not honest. I placed an order at www.eyewearus.com (sister website of DecormyEyes.com) for sunglasses, I haven't received any and after 3 weeks I contacted them through chat on their website and I canceled the order. It was confirmed in chat. Next day they send me an email that they don't have that item in stock but they can send me something similar. At that moment I knew already that they are a scam (see the complaints in the links below) and I told them that I canceled already the order and I hope that they did not charge my credit account...but they did since Sep 20 and after almost a month I haven't received any sunglasses. So be aware, it seems that this business, which has more websites (www.eyewareus.com, www.decormyeyes.com see bellow and www.bbb.com link)is a BIG FRAUD.

I ordered a pair of Dior frames from Decormyeyes on the 22nd January 2009. I have received absolutely disgusting customer service from this company and would like to warn potential customers away from making any purchases via this site. The site specifically promises that there will be no additional custom fees, duties or taxes to pay on items, and I requested and received further assurance of this via email. However I have had to pay an extra £30 over and above the cost of my order on...custom fees, duties and taxes. I immediately took this up in a polite manner with the Customer Services team and have been utterly amazed at the general rudeness of these people. In fact, I don’t think I would be overstating the situation if I said that I have been outright lied to in order to make a sale. Despite assurances that they would refund the additional cost if I were to accept delivery of the frames and make the customs payment, I have since been told by the Manager of the company himself, who seems to handle all complaints, that it is not their problem after all and that "sitting in his New York office, he really doesn't care"! I was subjected to verbal abuse over the phone, told that I did not deserve the frames, not allowed to finish one sentence and eventually forced to put the phone down to stop him shouting abuse at me! I have since discovered one shocking review after another on the internet, some so ridiculously appalling I have laughed out loud, and wish I had come across these before. I have not bothered to keep fighting to resolve this as £30 is not worth the insanity of dealing with the Manager of this company.

I purchase a pair of prescription glasses from decormyeyes and when I received them the lenses had swirl marks on them, one lense was too big and had a crack in it and the other one was too small and kept popping out.
I called them to complain and was told to send them back and they would repair them if it was their fault.
I shipped them back registered mail and have confirmation that they received them.
When I called they first told me they were repaired and had been shipped back, then when I called back a second time they said they hadn't received them and that I should put an insurance claim in, I informed them that I only had $100 insurance and then was told that I could just say I never received them and that they would put in a claim with UPS.
I was treated rudely by everyone I spoke to and was shocked that they would want me to falsely say that I never received them.
I wish I had read the feedback on this site before I ordered.
This site is the biggest scam and they should all be in jail.

I made an order for some designer spectacles with this company and paid by credit card a day before reading the reviews on this site. I assumed I had been had in a scam and gave up hope of ever seeing my specs.
Lo and behold, they arrived a week later, brand new and perfectly packaged in the manufacturers original case. I saved around 45% of what I would have had to pay in a store.
The huge variation of experiences between customers of this company, as reviewed here, is a mystery.

Thank you so much for my Gucci 1438 glasses. I could not believe my eyes when i opened the parcel. The model is discontinued and i was not able to find them anywhere in Canada.
The item is in a perfect, new condition, in original package, the service was great, delivery prompt.
Can not say enough. I am very happy. Will be returning for sure.

I too have fallen victim to this vendor - but in my case I sent him MY Revo' sunglasses to repair, and he STILL HAS THEM.
It's great that he got nailed, but what do I do now to recover my property?

This sucks - I have been a huge internet-buyer in the last 10 years, but in 2010 I got scammed TWICE!

I blame the search engines for escalating this guy to a level where I saw his site, and used it. If they were aware of all the negative red-flags, then the listing should have warned me - I think.

So the question still is: How can I get my property returned?
Thanks!

On 12/14/09, I shipped a pair of my Chanel Eyeglasses that I purchased from EyeWearUs.com AKA DecorMyEyes.com back to them because they said they could install nose guards on my glasses. My eyeglasses had NEW lenses put in them when I shipped them back. The item arrived at their location on 12/14/09 and I have dozens of emails proving that they received my eyeglasses and that my glasses were in their lab for repair. Months went by and after many emails, I learned that this company has LOST my eyeglasses. They refused to help me or respond to my issue. I was forced to file a dispute with my credit card company. I received a call from the owner Tony Russo at the beginning of April after 5 months of me waiting for a resolution and he admitted that his lab lost my eyeglasses. I asked for a refund of my eyeglasses and my lenses. He said he would get back to me and still has not. My dispute with my credit card company for the amount of $249.99 - the money I paid for my glasses has been resolved. But the one thing that has not been resolved is that I am out $152.60 for my new lenses. Since he lost my glasses that had my new lenses in, I am requesting that he refund me that amount. I have sent Tony many emails asking for him to resolve my issue and have not received a response. I do not know what to do at this point. I was scammed and need to get my money back. This company is a SCAM and needs to be SHUT DOWN. They cannot rip consumers off like this- its unethical and is against the law!

Good day, I been meaning to write you this message to let you know how happy and satisfied I am with the 2 pair of designer glasses I purchased from your company, to be quite honest I was very impressed and surprised to see how honest and upfront you were when first informed me that one of the frames were damaged and gave the opportunity to choose another frame specially when I was a bit hesitant in buying over the internet for the first time, not only you gave me the chance to decide whether to choose another frame but also a discount for future purchases and once I made up my mind I received my glasses in a prompt and professional manner and that I truly appreciate, I have mentioned the situation to my relatives and they all know how difficult I can be when it comes to being happy with a purchase made, I want to thank all your staff for the assistance provided, keep up the great job and most definitely will purchase from your company in the future.

Sincerely,

Rocio Valle - Alberta, Canada
