We were looking to update our appliances to the LG Black Stainless Steel and after deciding which models we wanted I checked the local big box stores and my wife asked me to let her look around first. She came across Designer Appliances on line and checked for the pieces we wanted to buy and started chatting with Cinthya and she was very helpful with which items they had in stock and the refrigerator was on the way to the warehouse so we could expect a shipment after that. Cinthya asked if she could call us that we agreed to and she was very professional and pleasant going over each model number and double checking again to make sure we were all on the same page. We placed our order and now waiting for delivery.

A real pleasure to do business with these folks.

We went to the Designer Appliances store at Montclair. They have a small but very nice showroom there. They sell premium brands as well as more entry level products. The staff were great. We worked with Russell, who is really responsive and helpful. He helped us order multiple appliance for our new kitchen. We could not be happier and now cannot wait for the delivery. Will update more once the appliances are delivered!

I purchased a slide in GE 30" range specifically GE JS250RFSS from Designer Appliance. I read all of the reviews on this range was aware of the oven fan noise long after the range turns off and decided it was no big deal. None of the reviews mentioned that the vent from the oven is directly under the back left coil. When the oven is on steam comes up through the left rear coil causing the drip pan, coil and anything on the back burner to rust and consequently rot away. Before the one year warranty was over I called Designer Appliance for a repair and was directed to call GE service, which I did. The repair man came saw the rusted pan and coil and replied that's where GE put the vent so there's nothing that can be done that's the way they built it 6 months from now the same thing is going to happen. I called Designer Appliance to inform them of what the repairman stated. I was told someone would look into it and get back to me. They did not. I then called and spoke with a consumer relations employee of Designer Appliance who offered to extend my warranty by a year. I explained that I had already purchased an extended warranty. What good is an extended warranty on an appliance that will continue to rot out over and over again. I asked if I could pay more to get a better unit and was told they would not replace it their warranty only covered repairs even if the model is defective. All this occurred before the year warranty was up. I will never purchase from this company and I advise anyone else who is interested in an appliance that lasts longer than less than one year not doing so either.

I PAID FOR MY ORDER 02/06/2017... WITHIN A WEEK AMTRUCKING CALLED TO MAKE THE DELIVERY ON A FRIDAY BETWEEN 4-8.00PM...
I SOLD MY EXISTING REFRIGERATOR TO MAKE SPACE! i TOOK TIME OFF WORK TO BE AVAILABLE FOR THE DELIVERY... WE WAITED & WAITED, NO DELIVERY, NO CALL FROM ANYONE FROM AMTRUCKING EITHER...
THIS WAS 2 WEEKS AGO,I RECEIVED A RETURN CALL 4 DAYS AFTER THE FAILED 1ST PROMISED DELIVERY,THEY DIDN'T REALLY HAVE ANY EXCUSE EXCEPT THAT THEY COULDN'T COMPLETE THE ARRANGED DELIVERY & THEY HAD NOW FIRED THE DRIVER.... THIS WEDS I GOT A CALL WITH NO APOLOGY TELLING ME AM TRUCKING WERE GOING TO DELIVER THE NEXT DAY I.E THURSDAY (24HRS NOTICE) I SAID NO,IT WAS TO SHORT OF NOTICE AS WE ARE OUT OF TOWN...I ASKED IF THEY COULD DO FRIDAY,NO WAS THE ANSWER..YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK!

Follow up 03/08/2017:
I did eventually get my delivery of 4 GE appliances; dishwasher was badly damaged,i have called DA 3 times to see when this will be replaced, their response is thier working on it.... Q:when can I expect my replacement? A. "we are working on it!" but when? A. we are working on it!!!
Seriously the customer service really is bad!!!!

I went to their website yesterday to explore pricing on a Bosch dishwasher and was asked if and the amount that I paid I wanted to online chat. I talked with Russell Berta who was beyond gracious in answering all my questions. He was also extremely knowledgeable and and helpful in guiding me to make a proper selection that was right for my needs. I was very pleased with my experience and the amount that I paid for my purchase. I would definitely work with Russell again.

I got exactly what I asked for - smaller company and ton of attention. Since they take care of my tenants I want to take care of them by spreading the word.

As I ventured into Designer Appliances, Russell Berta, client service, came online to help. I ended up making the purchase !! Designer Appliances went above and beyond to help me to install a new washer and dryer into a high security building. They took their time to make sure that all the insurance documents were properly filled out (first company that I worked with that got it right the first time round!), they took all factors into considering the machine was exactly what was needed AND would perfectly fit (within the half inch!) into the space it was meant to go.

They were always quickly available by phone. I probably called 15 (?) times and they were polite and helpful each time.

The drivers and installers had excellent customer service and were very knowledgeable with the product (Miele stackable washer/ dryer) They even helped me problem solve with the water and electricity for the machine- making sure everything was up to standards and done properly the first time.

As if they hadn't done enough already- they even came back a second time to help me out with an issue of the disposal of the old machine which was beyond our agreement/ proposal- just to make sure that I wasn't stuck with the old machine (someone had said they wanted it so I asked them to please leave it for them. But then the person changed their mind.. hours after the Designer Appliance driver had already left...)

I will definitely be using this company for any jobs like this is the future and highly recommend them- Thanks guys!!

I've been buying from Designer Appliances for years and have always been completely satisfied. Their prices are usually the lowest of any appliance store or big-box retailer, whether online or brick-and-mortar. Combined with frequent manufacturer rebates available on products purchased on their site (and frequently excluded from other retailers), it's possible to save hundreds of dollars buying from DA.

One of the best aspects of ordering from Designer Appliances is the delivery process. Being a New Yorker close to their physical location in New Jersey, I've always dealt with their own teams, and delivery is always punctual. I just received a range and washing machine today, and the delivery men went above and beyond to satisfy my requests. They were careful not to cause any floor or wall damage as they brought each item up a tall flight of steps and were extraordinarily professional, kind and helpful.

I know that when I order from Designer Appliances, I save money and headaches. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience purchasing my appliances from Designer Appliances. Our sales person, Tahi Hunter, was a pleasure to work with. She was both knowledgeable and attentive, and went above and beyond to help me stay within budget. She took the time to help me plan the layout of the kitchen, and gave me a variety of options and packages to choose from. The delivery people took very special care during the process, and the after-sales care has been excellent as well. After installation, Tahi has been available to answer questions, and she even arranged for Danny to visit our house to ensure that the appliances were leveled and functioning properly. Danny's attention to detail was also impeccable. Every aspect of my purchase was a pleasant experience and my kitchen looks fabulous. I got high-end appliances at an unbeatable price. Thank you Tahi, Danny and Designer Appliances!

My wife and I had a great experience purchasing our Subzero refrigerator/freezer and Wolf induction cooktop from Designer Appliances (Montclair, NJ). Our salesperson, Justin Wilk, was extremely terrific to work with. He was very accommodating. The delivery was prompt in spite of the snow storm the day before. Not only was the delivery crew (led by Gary) very polite, but they were also very professional. We live in a high-rise apartment. Gary and his men were very careful to make sure these two appliances (especially the massive Subzero) did not hit any object. That was not easy, considering the pathway from our entrance to the kitchen was relatively narrow and winding. As a final note, my wife and I have been enjoying these two brand new grand appliances for more than two weeks and we certainly like them a lot.

I had a very good experience ordering a 29 cu ft fridge. The price was the lowest I could find, delivery was free and it was relatively fast (about a week to South Florida). The guys from the trucking company, AM Trucking, were fast and courteous. Many delivery companies are trying to unload and get out as fast as they can. These guys not only unpacked the fridge for me and brought it to the kitchen, but they asked me to take my time and inspect it closely. Points for that. Customer service from designerappliances.com communicated well and was responsive when I inquired about shipping status. Overall, I had a very pleasant transaction and not only saved some money, but was spared of any aggravation and frustration with the delivery. I would buy from them again.
