They always have a good choice of the art supplies I need, for instance, they have what I need in a cheaper, medium priced and professional grade product. I can get the good brand for myself, and buy the cheaper brand for the grandkids. They ship quickly, and I have never had any issues with what I ordered.

I'm a budding artist and have bought a some stationery and now some painting supplies, some big names and some Blick brands. I am not disappointed, it's nice buying some small things for less than a buck a pop. 1oz cups? I don't need two dozen of them Amazon, I just want one! Haha! Prices are good, too, didn't need to spend an arm and a leg for just a buncha 6B pencils. Along with those pencils, I purchased a dip pen, ink, some gouache, brushes, some sketchbooks, etc, and they all shipped just fine. I must admit, shipping is sluggish, but I am very patient. It's nice to come home to a cute box with everything I ordered, packaged with care. I noticed how much they get bashed with bad, grumpy reviews (rarely positive,) I thought I could chip in my good experience.

I have been ordering from Blick for a few years. When they made a mistake in my order they quickly showed their true colors as a company. Their "customer care" deptartment is nonexistent, unhelpful, and actually rude. So, the result is losing a customer, poor reviews, and spreading their poor business practice across the artist community by word of mouth. Very unfortunate that they made the choice to treat their cutomers in this manner when we have so many other online stores to choose from.

I placed an order in December which never arrived. When I emailed to ask what the status of my order was I received notice that the order had been cancelled. I called in immediately and moved up three levels to get this sorted. I had done my due diligence in calling in the order and changing my email address on record. Somehow that info didn't get saved. I needed the order to be sent immediately because I was teaching. It took about 25 minutes for the whole situation to be sorted. I was willing and happy to pay my portion of the shipping (about 25$) but asked them to pay the rest of the Fedex fee (about 50$ for them) to have the order here quickly. A supervisor called Tray (hope I spelt that right) was super helpful and they took responsibility for their company mistake. I received the order very quickly. Thank you for your help and I will be ordering from $#*!Blick again in the future.

Ordered three oil brushes from blick web page on the 16th of February...they were shipped from Illinois and are expected to arrive here on the 27 .....11 days to go from Illinois to California....what slow service hard to justify using $#*! Blick to purchase art supplies when you can go to Amazon or others and get far better service.....really disappointed.....

Every order comes poorly packaged, the last one was for several hundred dollars worth of paint that they shoved into an undersized box that split open during shipping. The one prior to that was for liquid flow media that they tossed loosely into a box and it broke open and leaked all over so much that FedEx refused to deliver it. Don't bother with customer service and if you get Isaiah, just hang up as he is useless.

I use this site as a supplier monthly. Shipments have always been timely and well packaged. The supplies I receive have always been quality materials. On occasion there will be an issue with an order. I have received prompt, quick service and resolution. Because of their strong customer service, Blick has become my main supplier. I highly recommend them.

I have an 8 year history of frequent orders with $#*!Blick. Best service, huge inventory and BY FAR the best prices. Most Canadian art stores are so bad that I have no choice but to order from $#*!Blick. And I pay the 100$ Fed Ex happily because it is still way cheaper than doing a Canadian order. For example, the awful Prismacolor Premier pencil sets cost 3 times more almost everywhere else.Frankly, there is no close second and I would be stunned to hear of professional artists ordering from anyone else.

I was worried about the negative reviews that I found after placing an order and it's true that the order (two orders to be exact as one was created with wrong billing address) was just hanging there with the "Held" status for two days. I called the international customer service number and to be honest I haven't ever waited this short for the customer service to pick up the phone. Everything went quckly and smoothly, wrong order was cancelled, other order was confirmed, the same day my card was charged with the right amount and goods were shipped. Received them 6 days later.

I have never had a problem with Blick. I love the store in Philly, but it's too far. I don't get up that way often. They have shipped many order's for me. Prompt service every time. No problem's what so ever. I just placed an order this morning. Plus, I am positive Blick's product's are not counterfeit. So this is why I order off of them every time.

I have been using Blick for several years now. I teach high school art and their prices and products have always been wonderful. I spend around $1000 each order. My last order was back in August 2018. Due to my order being large, my shipment was delivered by an outside delivery truck. I was going to be charged a large amount extra to have the items carried off the truck and into our school office. I do not have extra money in my account for such a fee and honestly feel I shouldn't be asked to pay an extra fee. Some of my students had to go outside and unload the items from the truck. I was extremely disappointed in this new system and so was our front office. Amazon or any other place that I have purchased items from deliver it to my door no questions or extra fees included. I might could understand a bit more if my boxes were oversize and such but they were just normal size boxes. I just had several. As sad as it makes me, I will have to find a new supplier if this is the new delivery system. My students should not have to do the work of the delivery truck driver and I should not have to pay so much more for him to bring them inside the building. Very disappointing!! Susan L

Placed an order for in stock items May 8. As of 5/16 the order had not shipped. No answer or explanation from customer service why this order is taking so long. I'm very unlikely to order again from Blick as a result.

I think that $#*!Blick offers reasonable pricing on art materials and popular brands of materials like graphite crayons, lithography crayons, easels, markers, oil paints, etc. Have yet to find a vendor that is a match who delivers quality on par with Blick's and their mid-range pricing at the same time. Bottom line, I think they are OK and would be a repeat customer of theirs, but I would keep an eye out for other art vendors and bargains for the same materials, supplies, and otehr things that Blick offers at Amazon.com and search Google to see if I find the item elsewhere for an equally good or superior price before shopping here.

For eleven day now, I've been trying to post a negative review of the Blair pastel fixative that I bought from Blick's, that ruined several drawings. Each time I click "post review" a flag appears that says an error has occurred and to try again later. I wonder if I'd have the same problem if I were posting a positive review. Just a question but I know what I think.

I ordered about $500 worth of merchandise and even contacted them to ensure my payment would go through. Due to their incompetence, the charge to Pay Pal did not go through (although used 7 time with 7 other companies thereafter) and they demanded payment through a "collection notice". Really? Perhaps if they were not incompetent in the first place, no such demand would have been needed. Waited 10 minutes on hold to get payment to them. Had to finally write a check. What a complete waste of my time.

On Dec. 11th, my son ordered art supplies to complete a Christmas project. We got word today (Dec. 14) that the order had shipped with delivery slated for Dec. 24th from FedEx!! WTH? We paid $10 for shipping and it takes 2 weeks to get this? Won't be ordering from this company again.

On 10/15/2019 @ 6:13pm I placed an order for $127.12 paid using my PayPal. I received an email confirmation of my order from Blick Art Materials, as well as payment confirmation from PayPal. 10/16/2019 @ 9:02am I received an email with shipping confirmation from Blick Art Materials. 10/17/2019 I received an email from Blick Art Materials Credit Department stating; "our system attempted to charge PayPal for the $127.12, PayPal declined as the authorizations had all been voided. The 2nd one is for duplicate Order #21616629. You can see that it was successfully charged. Please either contact Customer Service at 800-723-2787 to arrange for the return of this unpaid, duplicate Order #21616612 to us, or provide a credit card to pay for the $127.12 owed on it." 10/17/2019 @ 11:24am called Blick Art Materials Customer Service and spoke to them about this error, and they reiterated that it was I who made the error which caused a second order to be sent without payment. I told them I would send the duplicate order back to them when I received it. I asked for a pre-paid return shipping label, to which the representative was very hesitant to provide, but did so in the end. 10/22/2019 @ 11:55am received my order. 10/23/2019 @ 11:36am received duplicate order 10/24/2019 Went into the FedEx Store to drop off duplicate order. 10/29/2019 @ 10:00am FedEx delivered duplicate order, signed for by their representative. 11/12/2019 Received a letter sent by Blick Art Materials Collection Department entitled "Final Collection Notice (dated 11/7/2019). What's going on Blick Art Materials? This is totally unacceptable! Kudos to PayPal for competency and not allowing a duplicate charge of $127.12 to my account. Imagine if I had paid using my credit card!

After going to couple of big stores for canvas frames, I decided to give $#*!blick a chance. Really good prices, fraction of the cost other stores have to offer! I love the the frames. Collection is a bit limited, but lots of sizes!

My sister was forced to wear a mask from the store because her face covering wasn't acceptable, even after she advised them she had difficulty breathing, they threatened to make her leave the store they not only lost one customer they lost two. I will never go back.

I have been a Blick customer for years, but lately I avoid them if at all possible. Between their slow processing time (2 - 3 days) and terrible shipping (FedEx DumbPost) service, I've pretty much had it with them. I live in Florida and it takes, on average, 9 days to receive my order. Sure I could spend another $3 on the "upgraded" shipping, but even then my order doesn't arrive in a timely manner. On top of that, when you check out, your cart says that your items are "in stock and reserved" This is a load of bs. I ordered 2 of one item and am only being shipped one despite the "in stock" message. I prefer Jerry's Artarama, but sadly they do not carry some of the things I need. I suppose I will continue to deal with Blick's lousy shipping and processing time whenever I need specific things
