I the spoke to a "Cian" who was less than helpful. He told that the order was on hold, that I'd received confirmation in error. Again no reason as to why this should be. He told me there was no manager available & then that he was a manager!
He was not prepared to go any further & his best advice was that I could cancel the order

I highly recommend it.
Unfortunately one of the items (Microwave) was not working when received.
Collection and re-delivery took place, but communication was bad and delivery was just left outside door when re-delivered

Having purchased a Kitchenaid mixer on 18th April and receiving the item on 1st May, it was clear the item had been opened and used, either a floor model or a return. My initial phone call the following morning comprised of a care agent in the Clonmel branch telling me that, since the item came from the Bray branch, that he would need to email them to make contact with me. 3 days past, no contact. Second phone call connected me to the Bray branch by coincidence, where I was told the item wasn't the floor model as they were looking at the floor model while we spoke, must have been a return I was told. Arranged a collect and refund. 4 further days pass and no collection email, collection or obviously, refund. 3rd phone call now, this time to Waterford (virtual holidaying in lockdown!) where the agent told me that the collection process had been started by the Bray branch but they had failed to actually arrange a courier. Said courier was arranged for the following Monday (May 11th) Monday 11th came and went with no collection. Today (12th) Another call, I didn't get to find out which branch but was told by the agent that they would TRY to arrange a collection but were unable to promise anything and pushed me to the option of returning the item to my local DID myself when they re-open on Monday. Now, while everyone on all of these calls have been courteous, apologetic and pleasant, no-one has been able to solve the problem of having the item collected and refund triggered, much less apologise for the wasted time in calls that have so far resulted in no action and an unwanted, USED item sitting in my house for which I've paid full price in the first place. Nice but incapable would be my personal description of DID customer service. DID, what are you going to do about this situation?

But this review doesn’t go out to D.I.D goes out to your employee Orla. Fantastic employee and goes the extra step to sort out customer queries and difficulties. Would highly recommend her dealing with your orders, keep up the great work.
