Dog sitting for 6 weeks , pet urine spray from Drayton saved my carpets, I ran out and they home delivered another bottle

I was quoted $175 for 3 rooms (actually 2 rooms and a walk-through wardrobe - a very small space) and another $100 for 2 sofa chairs. After finishing the job, the technician said he would be charging an extra $75 as the carpets were badly stained - which I specifically mentioned over the phone when getting the quote. After arguing with him that he should have re-negotiated the quote PRIOR to starting the work, I then called the woman I had booked with and she told me the quote was an "indication" and that I should have negotiated with the technician when he arrived even though he said nothing about the work until after he had finished. This felt like a scam to me and I told them that. the woman on the phone said that this happens with most of their customers (i.e. they are charged more than they were quoted) and most don't "carry on" like me! The technician refused to leave, and was yelling and swearing at me. I ended up calling the police and as soon as I did, he accepted payment at the original quote level and left. I then called the head office to complain only to be told that I should call the franchisee (the ones I was complaining about) and when I pointed out how ridiculous that was, I was told head office is closed until 7th Jan. No offer to record my complaint or get someone to call me back. This was an awful experience and I will never use Drytron again.

My mother was returning from a long stay in hospital so I wanted the house cleaned and smelling fresh for her when she got home. I called at late notice and they fitted me in between jobs which I was impressed with. The guy (Chris) could not have been nicer with a world of knowledge and spoke very well about his company which I also thought was great. The carpets came up perfect and the stains on the sofas are all gone. Smells great too! There was no hidden charges and all was done professionally from the booking to the clean. Very impressed with Drytron all round.

We would not recommend Drytron, we had them come out to clean our couches,the representative was completely disinterested in cleaning the two couches and after 5 minutes of being in our home he gave us the phone number and details of a competitor company. Head Office were great in addressing this matter however I have now lost faith in the company and will not be using them moving forward.

Rang for a quote after seeing add for $119 for 3 rooms.
Quoted $90 minimum call out for one room.

Drytron came to my home last Tuesday to clean my carpets as my daughter found my nail polish and decided to paint the carpet!! In all 3 bedrooms. They came the next day and removed all the nail polish completely. The also cleaned my lounge room which had previous stains that had been there forever. So glad i found Drytron and will use them again. Booking was easy, the staff member was polite and very professional. I can recommend them to anyone wanting a professional service.

Darren cleaned my Mothers carpet this morning. He was friendly, explained the process and the cost and absolutely knew what he was doing. The carpet was very stained but now looks like new and also smells good. Darren obviously likes his work and prides himself on doing a good job. Thanks and well done

Booked to get my carpets cleaned 2 weeks in advanced, only to wait around on the day of the booking only to find out my booking had been cancelled. Told I would not be able to get another booking for at least a week. Will not use again

I had an accurate quote given to me and our cleaner showed up right on time, happy to help. Very helpful, even asked if I'm happy with the result before he left, otherwise he'd go over them again. Great service thanks guys!

I have used Drytron for many years now and have moved suburbs using different Franchised areas. I have found Drytron to be thoroughly reliable, efficient and professional. Its a pity some of the reviews on here are focused on damaging their 30 year reputation. They really should manage this page.

I booked 2 months in advance, TO BE SURE that the end of lease carpet cleaning will be done few hours before inspection. They cancelled 2 hours before they were supposed to come and couldn't rescheduled it before ... the next day! Very unprofessional, had to find in emergency another company (thankfully found one available willing to come in the next hour, after having called a dozen of them ...). Moving our overseas was a very stressful time for us and we definitely did not need this on the last day.

I am very happy with the job [name removed] did this week. I have synthetic carpet that had ground in dirt, food, kids accidents and ash in it. Nearly all stains completely removed. Carpet was dry in 2-3 hours, smells great, fast job, excellent communication And very punctual. Pricier than others but very happy with the results.
Punctual, efficient, friendly, great results. Would use again.

The employee had to be asked to clean the same couch three times and still didn't clean it well, then he cleaned and polished his boots on our coffee table and left a mess of water all over our floor.

The company is refusing to refund despite this being against Australian Consumer Law. Definitely go elsewhere.

Called up and got a quote specifically saying $240 for 2 x 4 seater couches. l agreed to the quote, booked it in for two days later. They then sent me a text saying $320 TO $345 I called them back...after all the spin I asked for a new text confirming the price agreed upon over the phone the first time, they said they can't, 'system won't allow them to do that' I cancelled straight away realising it was a SCAM!! (note) cancel straight away as they will charge you a cancellation fee, needs to be done straight away.

I used to use Drytron in Boxhill...The first man that came & did my house did a horrible job and he also did a very quick job, but they were happy to send another guy around called [name removed] He was amazing...my carpet gets filthy from 3 active girls & a dog...I had a three bedroom house with carpet on the stairs & upstairs...[name removed] spent two hours scrubbing & got all the stains out...Then I moved house & Boxhill didn't do my area..So I had to go through Braeside...I was so disappointed...I now have a 5 bedroom house....with a large lounge & dining area downstairs carpeted...carpeted staircase & 5 bedrooms upstairs & a long, wide hallway...a man called [name removed] came to my house & he is supposed to be the "best" they have....To clean my new house he took under an hour....I heard no scrubbing...no furniture was moved like I asked him...he didn't even use stain remover as he said "they're products are supposed to be natural & he prefers to not use the stain remover because it's toxic...I said that I would prefer him to use the stain remover as my carpets are very dirty". He refused & said they will come up fine...of course they didn't...there was stains everywhere & places where the carpet was completely dry so he didn't even go over with the steam cleaner...I paid $300 for a pityfull job & when I complained to their office I spoke to a very rude woman who basically called me a liar saying that John had never had a complaint..and absolutely refused to come out & redo my carpet...So BRAESIDE....you are incompetent & you really need to lift your game...as for your customer service...have you ever heard the saying the "customer is always right", even if their not! You should be doin all you can to keep happy customers, not arguing with them...I will never use you again if my life depended on it...BOXHILL & [name removed] you are awesome & im so sad that you I am no longer in your area...so next time I will be using Electrodry...

I had booked 3 days in advance.
Drytron cancelled 2 hours before works were due to start. (their email states to give them 24 hours notice in advance for any changes however cannot do the same for their customers)

I have taken a day off work to complete the works. Drytron very unprofessional and disorganised. They have cost me a day off work for nothing.

I do not recommend them.

I have been using drytron for many years now and they always provide great service. They always turn up on time, do the job effiently, and give me great advice at the end of the service. I am happy to recommend them to anybody wanting their carpet and upholstery dry cleaned.

I recently used this company for some water damaged carpets at my house after last Friday nights heavy rains. My carpets absolutely stunk! And they looked even rusty! [name removed] came out with his cool gadget and sensed where the wetness exactly was. They then dried the carpet and cleaned. It looks better than it did before. Amazing! Absolutely fantastic!

I have my carpet cleaned every 3 months or so because I have pets. [name removed] who comes to clean the carpets, is friendly, efficient and nice to the dogs. The carpet is always left looking like new and smelling fresh and clean. He is always on time and there has never been a problem in any way.
