Keep away from this firm, have no idea how to communicate with their customers all they want is money. I will admit I was over the seven days when the contract could have been cancelled but I have never been dealt with such rudeness. They should all learn from one lady at the receptionist who was the only one who seemed to be able to relate with customers' wishes.

Product and fitters very good. After sales service is the worst I have come across, took them 6 weeks to change a door handle after spending over 30k with them. We have tried various times to contact them but keep getting fobed off by their after sales team We are now going to take legal proceedings against them to repair the faulty work they done on the troughing.

Wish we had read these reviews first. Salesman came today and gave an extraordinary high quote. Was then told a better quote would be given if we signed there and then. Quote droped from nearly 10k to 5k. Very unethical. How many vulnerable people think they are getting a fair price. Do not touch them.

Re my complaint on this site dated 12 Dec. For second phase of Windows goingin glass cracked in window and a blind was broken. We held back part of the payment until repaired. Then had a number of phone calls as manager wanted to come and visit us. I explained that I work F.T and was told manager doesn't work evenings! After second call I said no point coming, as glass had been replaced and Windows ok now. Was also told that if there is a cost to repair blind Dunraven would pick up cost. Very good. I then kept getting phone calls that the manager definitely wanted to come and visit me.More phone calls. Then I paid the bill. Phone calls stopped immediately? Clearly manager not interested in seeing me, just wanted money

Recently had a quote and signed the deal for a new front door, the surveyor came and said that it would be difficult but because the deal had been signed then they would honour what had been agreed we had been very clear shown pictures of exactly what we wanted and Ben had a fitting date.
Had a call then saying they wanted another £1000 to fit the door. We asked to speak with someone senior because deal has been signed but had a text to say they had cancelled everything.
Rubbish and a waste of time

Recently had 3 new windows fitted by Dunraven
Very pleased with the service. Windows all fitted in one day and everything cleaned up and all waste removed. Both fitters were polite and worked very well together. Friendly and jovial
Pleased with salesperson and the follow up team
Thank you. Would recommend this company again.

Terrible fitting experience, and was threatened by the fitter to pay up or he wasn’t going to leave my property. Took months of dealing with Dunraven to rectify. When they did come back the fitter (different fitter to original work) commented on how poor the original work was!
Despite telling them numerous times to stop the sales calls I still receive them.

There are cheaper and better companies out there, do not fall for their sales pitch.

I was lucky enough to win an online competition for new doors and windows 1st March 2019. It has now been a month and half and installation is complete. What a smooth running operation from start to finish. Surveyor, photographer, administration staff all liaised with myself, my landlord and his secretary with a professional manner and service! The fitters were efficient and friendly...and clean and tidy - I've never seen dust sheets so clean!!! All rubbish removed each day they were here.
Fitted articles are a brilliant standard and of a clean finish - I am really impressed with everything and would defo recommend their services to anyone and everyone
Thanks guys!

I bought doors and windows from dunraven at least 7 years ago and can't complain about 99% of it.but for the front door.As i live on the edge of the coast there is no protection from the wind and it is relentless.I must have called them out 6/7 times over a period of 2 years but I worked away and it was hard to keep appointments.Fast forward to last year Im at home permanently.iIve called them out now 5/6times already for the same door.I've just phoned them again and they said sorry again and a technician will be sent. There is no technician he is a window/door fitter. There is no after sales service only passing the buck. The 10 year warranty is only a promise they will try to fix it within that period. My time is running out and my house is still cold, the front door lets in a steady stream of cold air that would turn you blue.Be Warned. How many times does it take to fit a door properly when your a technician.Or is it the substandard materials.

After 5 hours of being pressurised by a sales rep and numerous calls from the sales department we agreed for an orangery to be constructed. It's just been under 2 wks of its completion and last night found the roof was leaking causing damage to internal wall and new orangery ceiling. Photos and email sent with no acknowledgement from the company. Telephone call this morning made and was told by a very ubrupt receptionist that if I had sent an email I would receive a call back with 48hrs. This was the same policy for telephone calls. I explained further damage could ensue due to rain forecast to be told not her problem someone would get back to me and I shouldn't be worrying as it's under guarantee. After being told the same thing several times I've had no choice at the moment to sit and wait.
I find that once they have sold you something any queries you have before the build and during they don't want to know.
The build was chaotic, rubbish left outside house for over a week, electricity line had been cut and they grumbled as they had to fix it! Orangery left dirty. Pressurised to sign the completion form!
We've used Dunraven a number of times but this is definitely the last and I will advise people to look else where!

Avoid especially the older gen as they are not happy until you sign the contract. They are rude, no communication skills except for one receptionist.
I had them in as I wanted one window reinstalled which seemed to go alright. We then went into the sitting room where I mentioned that there was a draft coming from this window also, although that was happening with most of the windows but too costly for me to replace them all.
So the saleman tried all he could to get me to sign a contract for both the sitting room and the other window which being an older gen I had expected trust from them so i did sign.
That following night the noise in the house was terrible so I telephoned the firm confirming that I wanted to cancel the contract for the installation of the large window and to speak to the salesman as I may have to move from this residence. I could hear by his reply that he was not happy to cancel remarking that he would then have to sort out a further contract. I did receive another contract which this time I did not sign as I wanted to get two further quotes.
I mentioned this to one of their receptionists who agreed that it would be fine to get further quotes and to just sign their contract if I wanted to go any further.
As I preferred another company who seemed to be the opposite it was from then that everything changed.
When the sales team telephoned Dunraven at first they did receive a positive call mentioning that my contract had been cancelled and that they would return what I paid towards my first contract. However all this quickly changed when all I heard was that it was too late as I had not signed the latest contract, nothing about me cancelling the big window within the seven days.
It is now two months since I signed the first contract. After much pressure I did receive a cheque for part of the contract but they have not returned the full amount despite, as mentioned, being informed that Dunraven would return the full amount of what I paid towards the first contract - diabolical.

The only positive sign I have about this company is that they have told their callers not to come to my door again.
Thank you for replying but what is the use when, as one person mentioned, I have never had anything to do with a firm that is so one sided, all they want is money from you.

Had 8 windows and 2 main doors fitted with Dunraven yesterday.
The 3 installers were professional and friendly. Their work is of a high standard and they were fast and efficient.
The quality of my windows and doors are excellent, I love the new coloured glass in my front door.
Quite expensive compared to some other companies, but a few family members have used them and they were recommended to me. They took away all the old stuff too which I was pleased about.
Overall, I am definitely glad I chose Dunraven

We had an orangery build in November and if I were just reviewing on this then I would give 5 stars. Absolutely love our orangery. The builders and fitters were amazing, so hard working and polite. Kept their promises and worked every day even on weekends and gave us the perfect extension to our house. We are over the moon with it. We have animals and are very careful with our doors and keeping our animals safe and they were so respectful of this and our home. I have really bad anxiety and was dreading 3 weeks of strangers in and out of our home but they were all brilliant. Little extras as well like fitting 10 spotlights and making them have different settings rather than the 8 we bought was such a nice touch. Double fencing the gap between our orangery and the lane to make sure there was no chance of our dog getting out. These are all reasons why the workmen were so brilliant on our build. The team over the phone were also amazing, booking in our surveys at times which were convenient, answering all questions and ringing back when promised. Emily in particular was great.

There’s 2 areas where they fall down ( in my opinion)

1.)
Sales techniques. We knew we wanted a conservatory and I was just about to call dunraven for a quote when bizarrely a dunraven sales person knocked our door. The man asked if we were interested and I said yes, he took my number and arranged for a phone call to book an appointment. An hour later someone called, booked us in for the next day. Brilliant!
The next day we had close to a 2 hour sales visit. We were happy with the price and what we were offered but I wish they would change how they go about securing a sale. Telling us that there will be trouble as we have been given such a low price... telling us that this offer is only for now and not giving anytime to think about it. Basically doing all the old cheesy sales lines in the book. It’s 2019 and people just don’t like this anymore. You have a great product - show us the amazing work you’ve done rather than tell us how much the company is making. Myself and my husband are both in “sales” and it was very cringy listing to the dialogue used. In my job I offer the products and tell all the relevant information so my customer can make an informed choice. There is no pushing and no games. That’s how this company should be. It’s so sad seeing all the negative reviews you get from the pushy sales process you have when we have such an amazing end result from you. If you stopped with all this you would just be getting great reviews from your customers.

2.) The builders and fitters were very good at keeping things tidy along the way but after it was finished the skip stayed on our drive for weeks, our drive, neighbours drive and neighbours grassy area as well as our front areas of stones was left in such a state. Only now 2 months later is it okay after dunraven have come to clean up. Still not perfect. Also, the glass on the roof of our orangery had all plaster on it which yes... we’ve managed to scrape off.. but it would have left such an amazing last impression of dunraven if these things hadn’t happened.

Anyway, overall we are so so happy and I hope they do decide to drop these constant phone calls and sales late night door knocking and start to get the reviews they deserve which are from actual customers... not people annoyed by phone calls.

Stay away, they use all sort of schemes to tie you into a contract, like using the Brexit scheme- "all of our products will be so much more expensive as they are manufactured in Germany"- you need to get it done before Brexit kicks in, calling at very inappropriate times like Sunday evenings and if you decide not to get work done with them and question the bad reviews online, they start ignoring you or blaming it on you for not receiving the numerous letters they send out. If you decide to cancel a contract after the cooling off period, you do not receive an detailed explanation of the costs incurred and if you question them about it, they start saying that this is not their policy and that management has advised otherwise.
If you want to save yourself a hassle and protect your home from these cowboys, avoid them at all costs.

After a few bad experiences with Dunraven, I was contacted directly by Gareth who advised me he would be able to come out and fix my situation. I’m quite ill at the moment and on medication so it was paramount that this was sorted immediately.

He was polite, empathetic and completely understood my situation, he genuinely tried to help my situation.

We managed to order a porch and it was completed last week, we agreed a price which was affordable and I am now over the moon with the end result. The surveyors, fitters and even the after sales team have been spectacular. Gareth L (don’t know if I can use last name) has restored my faith in dunraven and would now have no problem recommending them to other family members or friends.
