Update: US Postal service had lost the package during shipping. Can you imagine that a Government run facility could actually mess something up? ;) All is well with the World again. Dynaspy shipped my package via UPS. United Parcel Service has NEVER lost a package on me. Thank you Dynaspy for your understanding and quick response once the problem was figured out. Yes ... I WILL do business with Dynaspy again.
Thank you.
Where do I begin? Dynaspy is a drop-shipper of cut-rate, Chinese merchandise. If you know how drop-shipping works, then you know that means that NOTHING at Dynaspy is ever really "in-stock". Once you place an order with Dynaspy, they order it from China. Of course, according to their website, everything is always "in stock". I waited 2 months and14 days for a camera that was supposedly "in stock". After a month of waiting, I called them and talked to "Cara" (the woman who handles everything for the company). She admitted that the item was never in stock to begin with and that they had to "order it". For the entire 2 months and 14 days that I waited, the item continued to say "in stock" on their website--as do all of their items. That is part of their scam.
It gets better. The camera that I got was advertised as having a 1280x960 resolution. In reality, it had a resolution of 480x640. This is like telling someone that they are buying a Cadillac and then sending them a Hugo instead. The camera was completely unusable under any conditions. The same crappy camera that they sent me was widely available (and still is) on eBay for $8.95. The high resolution one that they were supposed to send me costs $70-90 with legitimate retailers. So you can see that the resolution makes all the difference in the pricing. I paid Dynaspy $69 for, what was supposed to be, a 1280x960 resolution camera. I knew about the $8.95 cameras on eBay before ordering with Dynaspy. I could have easily gotten of those instead, but I wanted to high resolution one that Dynaspy supposedly had.
I let them know my grievances in a calm and respectful manner. I could have easily called and told them know that they are nothing more than a Mom&Pop drop-shipper with a fancy website, that they claim that everything is in stock to lure customers, and that they purposely misrepresent their products and that they should all be up on charges. But I went the polite, but firm, route. I told them I was sending the camera back and wanted a refund. About two weeks later I received am email from Cara, telling me that I would receive a refund. Get this...Cara decided to lecture me in the email, saying that Dynaspy is breaking their "no refund" policy just for me and that they were "sorry that I didn't like the product", but they would not break the policy again. Of course, all she was trying to do was cover Dynaspy (from a legal standpoint) by making it look like I simply didn't like the product. This had nothing to do with my "liking" or "not liking" the camera. It had to do with Dynaspy purposely misrepresenting an item, in order to sell it.
I could easily, and successfully, file against them with the FTC, BBB and others, and may still do so. I have never encountered such a rogue company, and I have been online for close to 20 years. Here is hoping that they never get even one more customer.
THE ITEM I ORDER HAS A BAD RESOLUTION AND THE RECORDING IS DAMAGE, I HAVE SEND EMAILS AND CALL SEVERAL TIMES IN ORDER TO GET AN RMA AND NO RESPONCE. I GUEST THEY WAITING FOR THE 30 DAY RETURN POLICY TO EXPIRE.NEVER AGAIN, THEY SUCK
