DO NOT USE THIS SITE!! I canceled my subscription few days before before it was automatically renewed, which they don't clearly tell you when or how much they are taking, they STILL TOOK MY MONEY AND CANCELED MY MEMBERSHIP. Customer service is a joke too. All they told me was some BS about their strict no refund policy, even when there was a clear error on their system. And when I emailed them more than twice they just ignore my email and no response now. WELL DONE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Lol. JUST DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

There was no notification or email about any auto-renewing for EastMeetEast. They disguise their auto-renewing in the terms and customer service has no help as they say, "Auto-renewal is written in Terms you've agreed at the time of signup and purchase as well as Notes of pricing page. Unfortunately, there is a strict no refund policy for that". I had notified them the day it was renewed and they had no leeway. Absolutely terrible

I have tried this app for over a year on and off. I have noticed that I tend to get more views, smiles, and messages when I have not yet paid. Once I pay and reply to the message, I get no response from the person. Sometime, I think they block connection if it is real. I once sent a lady a message and she replied. When I tried to reply back, it said I could not send her the message because her account is deactivated. Sounds fishy.

This dating site is a scam. Bunch of scammers!! Don't try putting your credit card or bank info. They just get money from my credit card without any notification or emails. I used it once and I was so dissatisfied. Don't fall for their advertisement! I'm so stupid to fall for it and I don't want to happen anyone else. Please stay away from this dating app.

You would think a site for Asians would be more ethical, but in fact, EastMeetsEast uses the same scammy auto-renew business model to keep subscriptions going. Here, if you cancel, the subscription ends immediately, you don't get the rest of the subscription period you paid for. So it's up to you to remember when to cancel because there is no, "do not auto-renew" function. Overall, the site is vague about everything from subscriptions to the meaning of functions like "hide." It's not that hard to engineer these functions so I have to guess it is intentionally vague.

When you are not paying, the site send you constant reminders that people have visited you or expressed interest. When you do pay however, all communication stops. This in itself is nearly bait-and-switch. More disconcertingly, however, is when you cancel, the services cancels at that point in time and forfeits the rest of your pay instead of cancelling until whatever time you have paid for runs out. The end result is essentially people signing up for a sub, wasn't impressed but wanted to wait to see if there's any action, and highly likely forgets that they are still paying until they notice it on their card. Usually this is the subscriber's responsibility, but sending NO statements and NO communication about recurrent charges or otherwise cannot be described by any better words than scam.

When I was using this site I signed up for a subscription. Then immediately two girls started chatting with me, but it was really suspicious. One girl kept asking me for my phone number without answering any of my questions. And the other promoted another website before she blocked me when I called her out. Most profiles are barely complete and the portion where you're supposed to write about yourself is usually left completely blank. If they were real users they must be pretty lazy to leave a simple page blank like that. If you're a guy I would advise to stay away. You can pretty much call this a scam since being a man you will have to pay money in order to use their service.

To be honest, Asian population except in NYC and SF are nothing compared to other ethnicities, let alone many Asians feel the need for online dating. There are about 30-50 females or so and they get a free pass while men need to pay to message them. There is no niche market here as other online dating sites can filter Asian group without sacrificing the miss opportunities to check out other groups. Stay away!

There have been sites focused on Chinese population in North America, but as I am Vietnamese, I couldn't register. This site is an Asian dating site that covers all Asian groups, and you can narrow down the search by detailed ethnic groups like Vietnamese, so it worked for me.

I talked a scammer from this app. He has pictures of a handsome/cute asian man. He tried to use ways to scam me for money. I did not transfer any money to him but I would like to alert users to beware. I really fell in love with him initially and this left me pretty depressed. I contacted the app but they did not respond.

I was on here for only a short time...less than a month and I met 3 men. They are good looking men. In the beginning they tried to lure you with romance but towards the end they want your money, I did not send any of them my money but I got them to confess who they really are. They used photos of other guys and posed as their own. If you are good with the internet you can do a reverse search to try to connect their stories to what you found. I met 4 guys in less than a month and all 4 are fake.

setup as an investor scam...white dudes with with asian fetish invading streams and annoying everyone. People getting paid to stream to attract subscribers. No real dating here folks, just bots, astroturfers and trolls.

Woman here. I met a few reasonable people , but they weren't the right match. It's certainly not as overwhelming and draining as other dating apps. It does suck that some men can't see your messages, because they don't have a paid membership. You will get people from across the world who don't speak English sending smiles at you. I want to see more people in my area. It's not bad trying the app out. I deactivated it, because it felt like there weren't too many men on there. Other sites have a higher amount of people.

I have been using this site for two weeks and have interacted with many people. The price is too much in my opinion and wish it was lower. Also this needs to be an app for android! It sucks having delayed messages received on a browser. Support team is fast and responsive, i only gave 4 stars because of the price but hopefully i can meet someone on here soon!

I accidentally made a mistake on my subscription by choosing the wrong one and I emailed customer service for help. They got back to me and gave me instructions on how to get a refund, and it was really helpful.

After I paid $64 a month membership fee, and I started to have conversations with people, because I mentioned another way of my contact details to some of the members In the conversations, and the whole conversations had been deleted, and I never found those members after that. Who gave you the right to go through all the private conversations and deleted it. Ridiculous!!!!

Avoid this site at all cost. They secretly renew your subscription without telling you. When I dispute it with the credit card, they send the credit card company my private messages ! Totally unacceptable !

Cool sight Some suggestions-Girls here seem to have a habit of not responding. There should be a indicator on their profile(visible to them and others) which shows % response rate. So we can stay away from time wasters. Some gentle nudge to them to respond (doesn't matter Yes or no). Maybe you can have button for them for simple response of yes/no/maybe. Not cool to pretend to be too cool. I know you want to make it easy for girls but men paying for service should get some response otherwise they would feel wasting time and cancel service. Thank you!

I think this site is not a scam. The downside of this web is that it is a bit expensive and it is hard to take away the auto renew of the membership. But good thing about this web is that the people there are real. Also, the customer service is very patient and nice. I accidentally join the membership and they are willing to refund (well...partly because I am in New York and the state law requires them to refund within 3 days.)
