Eden Brae Homes

I had a very pleasurable time building with Eden brae as living 2.5 hours away from site the site supervisor was always keeping me updated and informed on where my house was up to and would meet me on site at the drop of a hat to clear up any questions or concerns. Very smooth build and very thoroughly supervised. Very happy with the way it has turned out.

We have settlement of our new Eden Brae Home in the morning, and we are just under a month ahead of scheduled completion which is just brilliant!

Both our Customer Service Consultant (Jess) and Site Supervisor (Chris) have been fantastic during each step, both assisting us with our many requests and queries in good time and with personal professionalism. We have seen Eden Brae homes on display in the past and loved the finer details, and our home has been completed in the same manor with any minor finishes requiring attention rectified swiftly.

We would like to suggest to Eden Brae Homes in their process, that getting the house keys at head office in Baulkham Hills is a long distance for us especially when there's an office in the same new estate we're moving into. This would have been a 5 hour turnaround for us if we didn't request our keys to be ready on site which we have been able to arrange. To have the keys offered to us on site would have been a nice final touch.

Apart from this, we would highly recommend Eden Brae Homes to anyone. We certainly aren't experienced in building a house, yet Eden Brae Homes made the journey at each step so easy - we wouldn't hesitate in building with them again in the future given the opportunity.

Joanne Forrest was very supportive as she helped me throughout the whole process. She represents the company very well as she extensively focused in customer satisfaction. She is very organised and excellent , always keeping me updated. Very prompt and responsive to our needs throughout the building process. I will definitely recommend Joanne Forrest for the help and outstanding experience in customer service.

As second time home builders we were expecting a lot of the same stress we had the first time around with our previous builder. We were pleasantly surprised from the first time we walked into the display home at Thornton, we experienced no pressure sales and nothing was to much trouble. We thought things couldn't get any better, then we meet Skye. We came across our first lot of stress trying to deal with our mortgage broker and Skye was Supportive, Understanding and able to provide all information required as soon as it was needed. We cant thank Skye and the team at Eden Brae enough for getting us through to this stage, and are looking forward to the next stage ahead of us.

Overall we are very happy with the end result, our Supervisor Jay Dunstone has been very helpful and extremely approachable and responsive during the build process and now also under the maintenance period. Daniella in the office I also hold in high regard as she was very helpful & professional. The workmanship with the painting is extremely poor but given we are now under the maintenance period I am of no doubt that Jay will make good as he has always done in the past.
Had a leek in the en-suite and they resolved my issue first thing the next day, as a whole the entire family loves the new house especially our two daughters who love their new rooms.

We started our journey with EBH from Homeworld Kellyville ...we built Lincoln 35 MK3 @ Newcastle..
We did lot of research on Builders as we all do and decided to go with EBH.. Initial talks stated with Mark @ Ponds ... He was very understanding and gave us the preliminary quote which was pretty close to our final quote...Then the final Contract signed with Charles, he was very accommodative and was a good guide..
We did our selections at Norwest HOG...it’s a good place but do some homework prior to that .. DeLorenzo and PGH bricks consults were also great ..
We finished all our paperwork prior to the registration the Land , but unfortunately it took over 6 months ( 2.5 months for council approval) to start construction without any particular reasons..actually it really disappointed us.
Once they were in Site everything was pretty good , Supervisors were great .. workmanship was superb.. and finished the construction pretty much on time... very much has with finish and quality of the work ...
few issues here and there and expecting to be fixed soon by EBH ..
We thought giving EBH few suggestions to include 40mm bench top , wardrobe shelving etc.. Very happy to see those in the new inclusions ...
EBH is not the cheapest among the top builders but if you after a quality builder with little headache, they are best ...

My wife and I are extremely happy with the way Jay Dunstone, our building supervisor, dealt with us and the way he managed the construction. From start to finish we felt that we were in good hands. Whilst there were building issues along the way, Jay tackled them very satisfactorily.

After the first day of looking at houses we knew it was between just two builders that we were building with and Eden brae came out on top! Very competitive pricing and offers for our budget! Ben at Huntlee and Mandy & Skye at Thornton have all been very helpful and of great assistance, especially understanding that we are first home buyers/builders and explaining the build process to us.
Skye, our service consultant, is always very prompt to reply to any questions we may have and is always on top of things. This made both our home option gallery and council approval stages very smooth and easy.

So far it has been a great experience and we are excited for our build stage to begin!

The gentleman who works in customer service center and the consultant Dane helped me out when I need advises before purchasing a vacant land.
They helped me out even I'm not sign with them yet.
I'm so impressed of Eden Brae homes and their staffs.
They have their proud and they represent Aden Brae homes.

We couldn't be happier with our new home 6 months since completion. The house has gone above my expectations, even after two wet weather events earlier on in the year where we had the wildest weather Sydney has seen in years and everyone i knew was having water damage issues (We had no houses on either side either for any sort of protection).

We started our journey in 2018, and after considering all other builders, it eventually came down to the Bristol design which made our decision.

Sales: The sales Rep (Mark) at Marsden Park and Kellyville was very helpful and genuine (Probably another reason we went with Eden Brae). Not pushy at all, and

Tender/Contract:
This process was smoother than i expected. The Tender and Contract presentation was easy going and well structured. I picked up on a few mistakes but these were fixed right away. My advice to anyone building would be to go over your plans and quote slowly with a highlighter between the Tender and Contract stage and make sure you have confirmed every detail and read every word and understand completely what has been agreed to at that point so there will be no assumptions to be made. In the end every word and line on the plan should be highlighted with notes.
My feedback to Eden Brae for this stage was to provide buyers (Particularly first home buyers) some recommendations on any changes. (Just before we signed the contract the presenter said she was surprised we didn't upgrade our Alfresco doors to be higher which would be a no-brainer as we had higher ceilings but this was left out) I pointed out that this was also a missed opportunity for EBH to upsell some extras that customers might really want but never get to know about. EBH were also very generous with crediting items we didnt want (Tiles, Driveway) but could do after. This allowed us to make other upgrades that we wouldn't be able to do ourselves. The final cost was also pretty much in line with what we were shown at the Initial tender pricing.

Admin:
Our CSO Emily was excellent throughout the whole build, and even 6 months after construction she is still responsive. I don't recall there being a single delay on their end. Their team was very well organised, which showed at the end when they presented us with the handover package.

Colour Selection/Upgrades:
We had fun those two days going through the Home options gallery and visiting the suppliers.
PGH get a thumbs up from us, as well as all the other suppliers. Di Lorenzo were on the expensive side and we had issues with our kitchen splashback but the Manager on the day made up for the mistakes someone else had made during our consultation.

Construction:
Ben Wright was a great construction supervisor. very easy to get along with and happy to meet on site at any stage. The contractors can be hit and miss. The bricklayers and roof tilers were absolute guns and whoever did the architraves and skirting upstairs are magicians (We had to reattach the downstairs skirting ourselves after tiling and its harder than it looks).
However the concretor and tilers didn't impress me that much but Ben made sure all of the issues were fixed before handover. The electrical work was ok, and we had some issues after handover but again, Ben was very quick to respond and Quiklec Electrical were also very easy to deal with.


Post Handover:
Moving in was amazing, once again we couldn't be happier with the house. Eden Brae have a 3 month defect period, but i wouldn't have even sent anything through. It was only after Emily (our CSO) who reminded me the day before the defect period would end that we had to run around and try to remember what we had picked up over the 3 months. They also let me log an extra issue maybe a week after the period had ended.

All in all it was a great outcome for us, especially considering all the horror stories we had heard regarding the Building Industry in general. We will definitely consider Eden Brae again for our next build.

I would like to say thank you my building supervisor Jay Dunstone. since he started work on my project he always deliver quality work as well keep me inform each & every moment of my building construction. I love his dedication and enthusiasm on my project. Today i have seen my final product of house and i am amazed with work he deliver to complete my family dream house. i must give him 5+ Stars for his work

I had high expectations with Eden Brae after working for a home builder myself. As always the sales staff were professional and extremely helpful, showing flexibility and design to give us the home we love. Our Contract presenter was clear and concise, ensuring we knew all conditions and inclusions and defiantly highlighted somethings we missed. Through the whirlwind of selections the staff were pleasant and patient.

During the actual build, while we were subject to a few site manager and admin changes, I can honestly say they were seamless and no delays occurred in these transitions. We were provided with numerous opportunities to few the build in progress and appreciated the transparency on inspections.

While some little things still need to be completed on the home, I defiantly appreciate Eden Brae and their staff pushing forward to get us this early Christmas present, I have nothing but confidence that the extremely minor things like little fix ups will be completed (Bookings have already been made!) and overall has left me extremely happy and impressed!

This is the 3rd house Ive built but the first with Eden Brae. EB are extremely professional outfit the whole process from start to finish was well managed. Big thank you to Debbie & our site supervisor Ben Page who took over early in the project in a seamless transition and was very customer centric with proactive and open communication. Would of scored it a 4 1/2 star if possible

Eden Brae were excellent from start to finish with Jamie (Sales Consultant), Charles (Contract presenter), Rhyannon (CSA) and Ryan (Site supervisor) all extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient with us during the home building process. We have now moved in for approximately 3 months and I am very impressed with the build quality and we have received numerous compliments on our house. The construction was completed ahead of schedule and we managed to stay under budget. Thanks again Eden Brae!

Our CSO Allysha always answers questions and emails in a prompt manner and really minimised the stresses and confusion we were facing especially as first home buyers. Her positive and helpful personality really made a massive impact on us and our build experience.

We are now at construction stage with supervisor Glenn and cannot wait for the build to start

We built Livingstone 26 and our journey started in March 2019 (tender) and we will get our keys next week.

We have lived in this neighbourhood for past 15 years and am surrounded by fantastic neighbours . So we wanted a builder that not only offers excellent customer experience, outstanding value home, quality workmanship , timely frame line but also one who is careful about KDR environmental impact on the neighbourhood. Eden Brae exceeded our expectations.

Our CSO Emily Waters answered all my emails and calls promptly. This was our first build and she patiently guided and helped us thru this journey. The smooth administrative process was all because of her.

Our site supervisor Mark Vaughn provided timely updates and was quick to respond to our queries. He is indeed a speedy Gonzalez. Being a KDR in an established suburb, he responded to road and drainage issues even before my neighbours reported them to us !!!!.

My feedback to EB’s management is to train tender presenters, specifically targeted for first timer clients, to be more proactive with suggestions and considerations. Externals and Basix were signed off at acceptance of tender before the first Home Options appointment. With hindsight and experience, I would have approached some build options differently

Being on a tight budget, we were happy to have been given a SMART bonus upgrade for our kitchen and bathroom.Our supervisor Jay and consultant Joanne were excellent and beyond words in their service. Inspite of the tough times endured by Australians during 2019-20-bushfires, floods, drought and the unprecedented COVID-19 attack, it is highly recommended that the build was completed timely.Though a little pricey we are happy to have Eden Brae as our builder.
Our home is indeed a dream come true!!

We built the Wembley 24 with Eden Brae, the process took about 10 months from time of tender sign to construction completion which we were very happy about.
Our CSO Jess went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and emails and really minimised the stresses and confusion we were facing especially as first home buyers. Her positive and helpful personality really made a massive impact on us and our build experience.
Our site supervisor was Ben, he was fantastic! We weren’t able to go out to the house as much as we would of liked due to work restraints, but Ben always provided extensive updates and photos to keep us up to date on the progress. He went above and beyond when trying to get us into our house before the Easter long weekend and ensured everything was completed.
I think the workman ship of the build was great, there were some minor issues we noticed on our final walk through (1 cracked tile and just paint touch ups) but Ben ensured these were rectified before we moved into our home.
We have had a lot of friends build new homes with various builders and I think what we received for the price we paid was outstanding, we had so many options regarding colours and modifications to our home and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of things that were standard with Eden Brae homes.
I couldn’t recommend this Eden Brae homes more, we had such a great build experience, I would 100% build with Eden Brae again.

We had a very positive experience with Eden Brae from Sales to Settlement.
The sales team were attentive and helpful but I would say to be mindful as the Provisional Allowances on the initial sales tender were well below the actual cost once you go to your colours appointment.

Tender and Contract meeting was great we were able to ask a lot of questions and it made us feel secure in our choice of Eden Brae.

Colours appointment was so much fun and because we had been to the showroom and we already had a vision for paint, floors and colour scheme and design elements our appointments were quick and efficient. Some Items that were provisioned for in the kitchen and Butlers pantry were well below actual costs so I would add on higher provisions if you are doing upgrades to the kitchen / Laundry area. Please also note the kitchen quote takes the longest to come back we waited over 2 weeks for this to be done.

Once all post contract variations are signed and final approval from your bank the best part begins.

Possession of site and from Slab to Settlement we had a great experience. We had 3 site supervisors during our build we never met or spoke to Lewis. Paul was very good and met us on site showed us what was happening and was always sending updates via email. Paul was then moved and Michael joined just after giprock had started. Samantha was always very attentive and Michael's attention to detail is fantastic. Michael met us on site and explained what would happen and when he was always available and very helpful and any issues were rectified ASAP the quality of the build and finishes is exactly as we envisioned.

We are about to start our construction so we wanted to review our Customer Service Administrators, Daniella R and Sarah B, who were absolutely fantastic. They were quick to reply to any questions we had and made sure we had anything we requested within 48hrs. Both made sure we were kept up to date with everything and would inform us of what was required next so we could get ourselves prepared. They were quite well organised and made what seemed like such a daunting process as stress free as possible. They were always eager to help us with ALL of our emails and all of our many many questions throughout the process. Tanya T was also very understanding and patient with us during our tender presentation as we were severely underquoted and given a lot of incorrect information from our Sales Consultant. She was wonderful even though we were crushed by the HUGE difference in price from our sales estimate to our actual tender.

The beginning of our journey with our Sales Consultant was unfortunately quite unsatisfactory but moving forward everyone we have dealt with to solve the issues have been great and so understanding. We are hoping our construction process is smooth and quick and we don't encounter any more issues.
