I ordered this item on May 5. The Web page gave no indication the item was not in stock. When I checked online order status a week later and saw it was unchanged I contacted the seller. I was told it would ship in 5-8 days. Today, May 20, I was told the item was not ordered until the beginning of this week (May 17) and MIGHT ship at the end of next week (May 28) but that was uncertain. I now have a choice of starting the process over with another supplier or waiting on this seemingly very unreliable company to fill the order they charged me for on day one. I planned to install this at my daughter's house, 500 miles away on an upcomming trip. There is now no way that will happen.

Ordered item Saturday, July 17th, received email confirmation same day. Paid for UPS ground shipping. Website shipping policy states, "We ship ... within 24-48 hours." Therefore, item should have shipped Monday, July 19th or Tuesday, July 20th. Website shipping times indicate shipping time would be 4 days to my location, so I would receive the item either Thursday the 22nd or Friday the 23rd. As I had not received any shipping notifcation by Thursday the 22nd, I checked the online status and it had not changed (no indication of shipment or anything, just that the order had been placed). I emailed the company on Thursday the 22nd asking for the shipping information and received a reply on Friday the 23rd with my tracking number for my item which had shipped that same day - Friday the 23rd - 3-4 days after when it was supposed to have been shipped. In other words, they shipped it after I asked what was going on with it. I wonder what would have happened if I never bothered to ask? Also, they shipped First-Class USPS instead of the UPS that I paid for. If you've ever had to track an item using USPS vs. UPS, you know how that can turn out. I was not happy with the shipping process or customer service. I would not buy from this store again. I would not recommend anybody else buy from this store, either. I would gladly pay an extra buck or two somewhere else for better service.
