I was immediately impressed with the professionalism, prompt and courteous attention and service I experienced working with Scott Boss and Matt Wisniewski at Elite Metal Tools. I know that my Super Max drum sander is not the most expensive tool that these guys have sold, but felt like my purchase was important to them. I was impressed with the prompt follow up to various questions and shipping details. I have already recommended to some of my friends to contact Elite Metal Tools for future equipment needs. Although I do not buy a large amount of new equipment, I plan on working with Elite Metal Tools when ever I'm able to do so. Sincerely, Don Zielke Sault Ste. Marie, MI

Matt and the guys at elite metal tools were very knowledgeable about everything I had questions on. The bandsaw showed up on time and was in great shape. Next time I buy any new machinery they're gonna be my first call. -zack

I have purchased two burr king grinders from Scott Boss and both times Scott was always more than willing to assist me in making the right decision for my knife making shop. The first grinder was a Burr King 960 and the second was a Burr King BBA 20 both machines arrived in excellent condition and were exactly as Scott had said. I will be buying again and will most definitely be dealing with Mr Boss Elite Metal Tools is lucky to have someone of the caliber as Scott Boss he truly cares about the customers needs and is more han willing to go to bat for the customer to ensure that they are comfortable in their purchase with Elite

I found Elite Tools on the internet while looking for an Performax 19/38 sander, I bought the sander from Elite mainly because I was assured by Matt that I would get it promptly for NO SHIPPING CHARGE. I am a small business so I purchased it . I received it on time & the Performax 19/38 Drum sander is a great piece of equipment. Good service & Good tool ! Jerry Parker Parker Enterprise Clark,Mo

I purchased an Oliver 4420 16' thickness planer from elite tools. Although I havent received the actual machine yet this is more a review of Elite Tools than it is the Oliver 4420. I will post a complete review of that machine once I get it. I contacted Elite Tools along with 4-5 other companies while doing research on the Oliver 4420. I had a very hard time finding information on this particular machine. I talked with three different people at Elite Tools at various different times and all three were polite, knowledgeable, and most of all helpful. I was given a very detailed quote by email within minutes after hanging up the phone. They were able to beat every other price I received. Other companies were $100-$500 dollars more expensive! So we are not talking just a couple of bucks here. Not sure how they were able to offer such a low price but I am not complaining. I was able to get my machines delivered to a residential area with lift gate service. I do not anticipate any issues but I am confident if there is an issue with the shipping help and a solution is just a phone call away. I would not hesitate to both recommend or use the company again if need be. I will update the post if anything takes place that changes my opinion but I don't anticipate that being the case.

Hands down, dealing with Scott from Elite Metal Tools was a great experience. He was on it every step of the way. No hassle price, quick freight shipping, and he followed up right through delivery. I am new to Elite Metal Tools, and they certainly won over a new customer. Thanks Scott! As for the Dake SE712, well, its just OK. I selected a Dake, as (I thought) they were all made in the USA...but not the SE712 or SE912 models. They are just another import machine; so I was a bit naive in my selection, but that is completely on me. The pallet arrived via FedEx Freight in perfect condition. The saw was well packed. Once unpacked, I found the configuration slightly different than the manufactures website description...the unit pictures at Dake had a front handle and the saw that arrived has this feature omitted (for safety purposes according to Dake and they have since removed that picture from their website). The instructions are nearly useless, you can tell they were not written in the USA. The saw teder-totters slightly on my shop floor, as the four wheels have no "slack" or adjustment that my previous saw's adjustable feet had. I'm guessing the fabrication of the base is not completely square, and there is no adjustment. The head bow blade guard cover was slightly warped, which cause minor interference when the saw closes and comes to rest on the base (which also has scratched the paint). I was able to bend it back in place to an acceptable position. The vertical table was missing the support bracket and hardware...of which I'm still trying to resolve with Dake. When opening up the saw head to the vertical position, there is a slight rocking of the entire head on the axle connecting it to the base of the machine. There is not adjustment to correct and the motor is so heavy, I am guessing the tolerance is not tight, hence cause the slight yielding. And with the machine on (4) wheels, it moves freely when working the head to align up for a cut. Again, it the front had footrest vice wheels, this wouldn't occur. Short of that, the saw did come equipped with a Lenox Classic bi-metal blade and a gallon of Trim Sol concentrate coolant solution. The operator controls are sealed in an industrial enclosure with industrial machine control buttons. In the initial test cuts to break in the blade, the down feed works well, but the auto stop needed slight adjustment. Although flimsy, the chip brush does an adequate job removing chips. The vice works well and fairly set up for accurate cuts. The belt guard cover is only attached with a pair of machine screws to the casting on the head, so it vibrates when the machine is running. I have made about (20) cuts in some mild steel square tubing to break in the blade and the saw has performed well. Out of curiosity, I compared my Dake to a Grizzly G0561 and found them to be the EXACT same machine (with some minor features like the control box, front handle, paint color!). In fact the parts manuals are the same exact document with the same numbers! To think for $900 less, I could of had the same machine in Green versus Black :( For now, I will settle for my purchase. And don't forget, Scott and Elite Metal Tools are AWESOME!!

If I could have given lower than one star I would have. I'm a former Snap On Tool dealer and I don't believe in buying cheap crappy tools. It's just not worth it in the long run because they either break or don't work properly. I recently purchased a Baileigh metal shear from you guys (thinking that I was going to receive a decent tool) and man was I wrong! It's a total piece of junk and it will need a bunch of shimming and tightening just to get it to work properly. That's not what I paid over $200 for. I could have purchased another cheap Chinese metal shear at many other websites for half of what I paid. When I wrote to the "follow up sales person" I was informed that I would have to go to Baileigh for a return or any service. If I wanted to return this boat anchor it would cost me a 30% restocking charge along with me having to pay the return shipping. A side from a successful hot rod shop I own and operate an online drop ship pet supply business. I would never do this to one of my customers - that's if I wanted to keep them as a customer.

This is the first machine we bought from Elite. We were very pleased with the customer service and the machine we bought was very competitively priced. As a small business, we are always looking for the most competitive price and Elite Metal Tools came through! The Baleigh 250 metal bandsaw that I bought, I am VERY pleased with.

I ordered this saw from Brock on a Wednesday. I was initially told that it would ship on Monday Nov 21. Then told it would ship by friday Nov 26. I called on friday and was told yes its shipping today and brock promised tracking info. No tracking info was sent, no follow up from Brock until Monday Dec 3 and the saw did not ship until Monday Dec 3. For a saw that I was told was in stock and ready to go when the order was placed this sure took alot of time to get this equipment moving. I wont be buying any more machines for my machine shop from Elite. Poor follow through. Lied to about shipping times. Long handling time. Casten

Haven't received product I ordered. Online site said ships in 5-7 days but after I purchased, said it won't arrive for over a month. I wouldn't have ordered it if that was the case. I'm not sure if I should cancel or not. I haven't received any further information. Disappointed at this point.

We ordered a Belt and Disc Sander from this site hoping to get it in time for the holidays. We're a community workshop known as a Makerspace and around December a lot of our wood workers like to make gifts, ornaments, etc., and usually make heavy use of the sander. We got this one way earlier than we hoped and it worked great! So much better than the little 6" belt and disc sander we were using before. The dust collection is super effective too, which is a big help with our goal of getting our wood shop cleaner. These folks are great!

I spoke to "WIS", he was very knowledgeable of the equipment, very personable and extremely helpful throughout the purchasing process. I could not be more pleased with the overall experience. Elite Metal tools may just have a customer for life based on this experience. 5 stars all around!

My ct5 planter arrived with parts missing and the bucket bracket didn't fit on the frame. It appears that there was a weld that was not properly placed on the main frame of the planter. Also, there were no assembly instructions. I sent a message to the company at so far there has been no reply. Very poor customer service. I should have bought locally.

The planter seemed a little flimsy. Not sure how well it will hold up planting 5 acres a year. Also came with no instructions. Fortunately most of it was fairly intuitive, but the plates are not labeled what they do and were also labeled with codes different from the invoice and the website. There are also 4 additional gears that I would speculate are to change the speed at which seeds are deployed, but also no instructions on when or how to use those. Asked for instructions and was told to go back to the manufacturer.

It was amazing to find out that Elite is right in my back yard! Well, a few miles from me. I was looking for several Grizzly machines and found Elite while surfing the net just to see what else might be out there. I left my name and phone on the website and sales called me back right away and worked out a quote that I was happy with. I have only just learned of Elite Metal Tools so looking forward to more interactions and building a long term relationship! Thank you, Steve Nyhof Steve Nyhof Designs, LLC

I requested a quote for 3 in 1 sheet metal machine. The quote was 40% higher than competitive quotes. 10% higher might mean more service. 20% would just be high and would cause me to choose some other vendor or distributor. Yes, this is my opinion. But 40% is just price gouging. I gave this company a chance to respond to the difference in price and customer service just ignored the email. If it was even read.

Needed to get some Permaloc commercial edging quickly to complete a last minute edging job so our mason could finish up his stone work. Contacted Elite Metal at noon on a Friday but the material I wanted was only in stock in 16 footers, which is very expensive to ship. So they contacted Permaloc and Permaloc was willing to cut the edging into 8 footers and ship my order Monday (with their free Fedex ground shipping) so that it would arrive in MA by our Wednesday deadline. All went according to plan, thanks to Mark W (known as Wiz). He really worked his magic for us so that we could complete the job without any further delays. Stellar experience overall!

I called asking if they could price match since there were 5+ other websites that were selling the same product for more than $100 cheaper, and they did not want to work with me because I had already received the item, rather than just simply refunding me the difference. Will not be purchasing anything from this store Again.

I purchased a Maksiwa LBM13 line boring machine. I thought it was a good value at 1399.00 because it also included bits. What it did not say is the bits are 1/4". I have been in this business for 35 years and never knew of a 32mm line boring machine to come with 1/4" bits. Always 5mm. The receipt I was sent was vague and it did not list bits as being 1/4". Customer service was no help at all. I will take responsibility for assuming that 5mm bits were included, but had I known, there were other machines I would have considered since this purchase will now increase by $200.00 (since I have to buy 5mm bits) I will no longer order anything from Elite.

Other than falsely advertising about taxes the rest is kinda ok. They blame the tax issues on software and for Joe blo on the street it looks fishy at best. Have used elite tools in the past with great satisfaction.
