Endmyopia.org Reviews & Complaints (17)

Jake Steiner has unselfishly shared his journey from high myopia back to natural 20/20 vision and what he learned along the way to help others...no charge. His methods are backed by science and countless people have reduced or eliminated their prescriptions. I was also highly myopic and have progressed to low myopia in less than 6 months. Improvements continue. Details on the gist of the method below:

The gist is to maximize the time that the eyes spend bringing images into focus with the slightest under-correction (Active Focus) on just two focal planes (i.e., arm’s length for a “differential” prescription, and a “normalized” prescription for distance). Focusing time between those two planes is minimized because (a.) with a differential prescription there is too much blur (risking form deprivation) and (b.) with a distance or “normalized” prescription there is hyperopic defocus, which works against you (see Incremental Retina Defocus Theory). Outdoor, daylight, active-focusing practice on distant objects is highly recommended. Quarter-diopter prescription reductions are made when the Snellen 20/20 line is clearly read at 20 feet.

I have been regularly visiting the paid section ("BackTo2020") of EndMyopia.org for a bit over an year now, and have been steadily improving my vision (from -11.50 R, -9.75 L to -8.25 R, -7.00 L). The paid section contains organized lessons; a forum to ask Jake Steiner -- the discoverer, originator, developer and maintainer of the techniques presented at EndMyopia.org -- questions concerning the lessons and one's attempts to understand the techniques and adapt and apply them for the improvement of one's own vision;, and some tools (such as a tool to log one's measurements). Conversations at the Forum can be marked as private or visible to others in the BackTo2020 program.

We all have our reasons to start looking at “slowing down” or “reversing myopia” for me the reality of high myopia was very much on my horizon and all the complications and risk that came with it..... “myopia” meaning an eye that could no longer focus on the distance probably due to a ciliary spasm.... we have a piece of plastic put in front in front of the eye “there you go” but this crutch made the myopia progress as the eyes were “over prescribed”and now the eyes were put under a constant “close up strain” now I follow endmyopia, my initial gains have been great but I know this is not a quick fix, by following endmyopia I am slowly unravelling 20 plus years of “bad habits”.... weather or not I reach 20/20 is not my ambition, but I know I’m in this for the rest of my life..... my one absolute must for anyone starting this journey, read and learn as much as you can before you make any decisions.

Jake really is a genius (but don’t tell him I said so)

Been with endmyopia for about 4 months now and I am starting to get clear flashes! Everything in the blog actually makes sense on how and why endmyopia works to help improve your eyesight. The best part is that everything is free! You just have to put in the time to look and understand all the information.

I must admit that initially I was sceptical of Jake’s methods, however I took the plunge back in August 2018 and started to only wear my current prescription for driving. ( -6.75 R , -6.50 L) The rest of the time I used a reduced prescription of about 0.75 diopters in each eye. Currently I can now read down to the 20:20 line with my reduced prescription (in good light) and have finally got to grips with active focus. I know it is going to take time, but getting some positive results acts as a huge motivator for me. Thanks Jake and keep up the good work.

As a long time consumer of "fix your eyes naturally" products I've spent lots of time and money going through ideas and exercises for over 10 years.
I've seen enough results to make me a believer but struggled to find a program that I could stick with daily.

Jake's program has the most comprehensive information available about why our eyes struggle under common thinking about eye problems.
Also his solutions are relatively effortless (you won't be spending long periods rolling your eyes everyday).
It still requires effort and work, but I'm excited for the ease of consistency which will give me my results!

Jake has shown himself to be someone genuinely interested in helping people with their vision problems. I'm really glad I found this program.

Endmyopia goal is to help those with blurred vision get back to 20/20. The process allows you to completely live your life while improving your vision.

As someone who's attempted other methods for vision improvement (supplements, Bates method, eye exercises, etc), I found Endmyopia method to be a relief. It doesn't take extra time in the day or cause me to be frustrated and living in blur by not wearing any corrective lenses.

During the process, I learned a tremendous amount about the eyes and how myopia is caused. With this knowledge and the advice given by Jake and the website, I've already improved my vision by 40%. For the first time, I feel 20/20 is a real possibility!

I've started the Endmyopia process one year ago with correction of
OD -4 Cyl -1.25
OS -3.5 Cyl -1
After incorporating better vision habits, I now wear
OD -2.75 Cyl -0.75
OS -2.5 Cyl -0.75
Although I'm still not all the way back to 20/20 vision, I can now read books without glasses without fearing I might make my eyesight worse. I don't have headaches while working on a computer for eight hours per day due to the weaker close-up glasses and I continue to improve my eyesight due to the increased outdoor time and distance vision.
Before finding Endmyopia, I was seeking to do the LASIK eye surgery, but thankfully, there is a natural option to improve your eyesight through science and habits.

2 months ago, I started to search some video on youtube about how to improve eyesight naturally and the very first thing that came up was someone’s successful story (sorry! I forgot her name....) using reduced lenses method. Thankfully, she shared the link to Jake’s website: endmyopia.org. I visited this website and overwhelmed with hundreds of how-to guides with hundreds of specific topics, scientific articles and videos explanations. It just amazing! I actually gained a lot of knowledge and I read a lot of successful story too..It’s my first month trying this method and I already feel the different. I will definitely recommend this website!

I fixed my myopia nearly 10 years ago (from -3 dioptres), long before Endmyopia existed. I used a combination of methods, cobbled together from forums, books, websites and other research, which were similar in principle to Endmyopia’s. Anyone looking to reduce their myopia nowadays has a much easier task because everything you need to know is contained in one single online resource, right here at Endmyopia. There is no need for financial outlay — just the cost of a few pairs of glasses until you can get rid of them for ever. Now at nearly 65 years old, I am the only one among my friends of this age who doesn’t wear or need glasses, even though I spent my 30s, 40s and some way into my 50s behind minus lenses. Once you learn how to use and look after your eyes properly in this era of smartphones and tablets, these good habits and knowledge stay with you for life.

I have started this journey at August 2019.

Today (11.03.2020.) i went to the optometrist and today perscription is:

LE: -0.75 cyl (175°) no sph
RE: -1.75 cyl (10°) no sph

My old prescription is:

LE: -1.00 cyl (175°) no sph
RE: -2.25 cyl (10°) no sph

After about 7 months i am very happy with results

I have been looking at Endmyopia for a few months now. My progress has been intermittent, probably because I get too involved with other things (including work which means heavy screen work) and need to be more consistent. But the philosophy behind the approach is sound and very interesting and can be checked out by reading peer-reviewed journals. The community is helpful and there is a lot of material online for everybody to check out for free. I will try to be more consistent over the next few months and see where it takes me.

Jake's knowledge just changed my life... from wearing Spects all time to 100% perfect vision is just life changing.

100% recommended if you are willing to put in efforts to improve your vision and life.

It is all about lifestyle and habits. People blame Jake because they are unable to work on themselves and end up taking short-cuts.
