anyway, the real estate was unhappy because it seemed that the window tracks had not been touched (it says on their service list that window tracks were included) The real estate had been in contact with end of lease cleaning, and they finally said they'd send a cleaner around on Monday at 10.30am to do the window tracks. No biggie, you'd think. The new owner already had the keys at this stage, so had to wait around the property to let them in. They never showed up, never called myself or the real estate either. Owner waited a few hours for them! Turns out the cleaner has a $50 call-back fee.
when we called end of lease cleaning ourselves, they whined that 'the real estate are being unfair asking us to go all the way out there to fix one little thing'. yes, real estates are picky. It is annoying - but that one little thing is listed on the items to be cleaned during their service, and it wasn't, and they supposedly have a 100% guarantee. it's their job to deal with picky real estates, they're bond cleaners!
by now, the new owners are very annoyed still waiting for the tracks to be cleaned, but we both work fulltime, so we figure fine, we'll just pay the $50 call back fee for the cleaner to go back and fix it asap.
both they and end of lease cleaning ignored our emails and calls. as there was no way to find a cleaner who would show up to clean just the window tracks that didn't cost a fortune (most have a few hours minimum, or half-bond cleans, and we'd already paid $400 for this bond clean) we had to go finish it off ourselves.
i'm thinking there is a problem of communication between the cleaners they contract and head office, who it appears will say anything to get people to book through them, regardless of whether the cleaners are aware of the conditions or not. The problem is, after the clean they ask you to deal directly with the cleaner for any issues, and basically wash their hands of it. I think if this is the case it's really unfair on the cleaners who have no idea to what's been promised to the customer over the phone when booking, then have to deal with the complaints.
The rest of the cleaning itself was good, just the way they handled one slip up was awful. very unhappy with their attitude, and the blatant lying both over the phone and on their website about having a guarantee. To actually complain that a real estate was asking them to fix something that should have been done in the first place, that i'd paid for. incredible.

So I said that's fine just be there tomorrow at 9am because I will be there then and please don't be late as I have things to do and I live 1 hour away.
9am the next morning the cleaner did not show... by 10am I have made multiple phone calls and left messages with no answer.. cleaner calls me at 1030 saying he is on his way (sounded like he was still in bed).. by then I had already booked another cleaner that was $250 more but as I learnt, you get what you pay for!
Wish I saw these reviews before I wasted my time with these scammers.

Then they turned up nearly two hours late on the day blaming traffic. It was the first job of the day - so I missed half a day of work as well.
Very unapologetic and I sincerely hope they get me my bond back. I would highly recommend going with a different company - this person was terrible.

I organised a bond clean 3 weeks prior to moving date, which I confirmed the afternoon before. The cleaners arrived half an hour late with no apology. I showed them the property, payed (a mistake), then left the property after instructing them to call when the clean was completed. The agreed with this plan. Twenty minutes later I received a text message saying the couldn't complete the job and had left. When I tried to phone and text, they were not contactable. I finally got hold of the company owner, who's phone number is listed on the website, and he gave a plethora of excuses ranging from 'too dirty' (the apartment was brand new when I moved in a year prior, and in good condition), to 'couldn't access property' (it was on the first floor of an apartment complex with lift, escalator, or stair access' to 'cleaners didn't feel safe' (just a flat-out lie: they were two full-grown male cleaners in a secure apartment complex in daylight on a Saturday). The owner threatened over the phone not to refund my money, stating I must "end the conversation and give me your bank details now or you won't get anything back' when I called him out and said that he had failed to meet his contract obligations.
** PLEASE: Do as I have done, and report [name removed]/ Cleaners for Queensland to the ACCC and the ATO - they are charging GST when they are not registered for it, and also using multiple ABNs and business names to scam consumers. The business I booked through is based in Zillmere, Qld however I suspect it's a much larger scam network.

My partner booked for a vacate clean not reading reviews prior and I emailed 2 days before to organise a time and plan of attack, however, they decided to get back to me the night before to cancel and asked me to rebook the next day and I thought it was a joke. I phoned another company in cairns who I said my cleaner cancelled and then said was it End of Lease Cleaning? I questioned how they had the knowledge and they said they are the worst. They fortunately saved me from extreme disappointment considering the disguising reviews. I suppose if you want a skill set that's below average call them.. I want to point out, when cairns companies know of the horror that's how you know they are incompetent and foul.
