4 days without power because some idiot is afraid of hand soap.

Energex sitting at road closure says Christmas Day and when phoning Energex we told 4pm today. Which one is it?
Electricity lines still down in Tarawara, red flagged properties for medical reasons yet still nothing.
People are now having to go to hotels and hospitals to be ok medically.
Who is paying these bills? I do hope Energex is compensating those who have had to go and those who have lost thousands of dollars in food. We all understand not your fault they came down but you should be ready to get the public back on faster.
Very poor service, this is now the 4th time in less than a month Energex!

What bright spark comes up with these out-bloody-standing blocks of humid times during Summer school holidays peak of heat at 33 degrees?
Do better because this is pathetic when the cooler months (when kids are at school) would be more bearable!!!
You have reconnected people's power after a storm in less than 7hrs sometimes less than 1hr!
If I could give you a 0 star rating, I damn well would.

As soon as a new policy is released workers are going to find any excuse not to do there job!
We have lost 4 days of work and all Energex can do is blame other companies. Our external company has clearly noted a 5 hour window and after numerous phone calls Energex turn around and tell us that when checking the electricity box number it’s always an “all day” time. This is incorrect as we have now had 2 days booked in for 5 hours frames.
Suggest getting contractors to “call” or make contact with the owners when turning up to a job! People are losing money and time due to the inconvenience from your company and not to mention animal cruelty.
We were given a 12-5 hour window and we also had noted our dog would be secure on our balcony from these timings. I was also home all day and had the house locked up from 12-5 in radiculous heat. I then check the mail box to see a note dropped off at 10.56am!
No effort to contact the owner.
Unprofessional to say the least.

Best part is because they are the government distributor you have no option to change providers or deal with another company.

I started a new service under my name with Click Energy and was scheduled for the new connection yesterday (Wednesday 13/3/2019). So I took 1 day off work and waited for the Energex to come and connect my power.
Finally after all day waiting a sarcastic, grumpy, unfriendly, rude guy arrives at the end of waiting period and wants to inspect the entire house first (which I don't understand why!). I asked him to wait for me a few minutes to get the keys and open the door to other sections of the house but he said he couldn't wait! By the time I opened the door he had already left!
I immediately called Energex to talk to the guy to come back, but was told they can not contact the guy and I have to Contact my energy provider. So I called Click Energy and was told that we have to reschedule and told me that the next day by 8 AM this will be done! So I took another day off work and waited but nothing happened! I called Click Energy in the morning and was told that it is rescheduled for afternoon between 1 and 6 PM! So another day wasted!
So, 3 days with no electricity, all food in the fridge had to be thrown away, no A/C, no fan in this heat and I had to go to a shopping mall to charge my computer and phone batteries!
This guy had no idea of customer service, no compassion, no courtesy, and no concerns about customers and very rude!
Energex has to train it's staff to consider customer issues, work with them to resolve their problems.
They can't do their jobs right and we customers have to pay the price for their incompetency!
This is not the right way to do business!

EVERY BILL WAS WRONG.
It was so high I would ring them and THEIR PHONE SERVICE would tell me a much lower and correct amount!
It was a nuisance, but I tolerated it.
Then I moved house.
Some how they transfered the power, but created an extra account in my name and started billing me for both properties!
It took numerous calls to try and resolve the issues with Energex so they're great if you need to waste left over phone credit, but really that's it.

Its Ok for me to have to pay all the contractors and civil engineers for works and there is nil customer service.
Having a monopoly on the works is just not Australian and fair.
Thanks energex you are sending me broke costing me 5 grand a month.
