This is in response to Energy Conscious's reply to my first comment:

Your website did not have any pop-up during checkout that warned me that shipping to Hawaii was not included in the "free delivery" advertisement. Your system allowed me to fully check out with the assumption that I was getting free delivery (probably in the hopes that I would not be so inclined to reverse the transaction once I found out otherwise).

In the age of Amazon and Ebay where I can get free shipping to Hawaii on just about anything I purchase, insinuating that shipping to Hawaii "always" costs something is ignorant and rude, since it implies that I know nothing about shipping when I am located "Halfway through the Pacific to Asia". A business with these practices and responses cannot expect to gain loyal customers or compete with other sellers who offer free shipping to Hawaii on a regular basis.

Needed a replacement switch, the original last 14 years, but $40-50 for a simple timer. It doesn't even have wifi coms. Function A+, Price F.

I ordered a 12,000 BTU LG LW1216ER window air conditioner for a great price and saved me $50 from the local Home Depot. The unit came in fast and arrived in good shape. Best part of it all is that the new AC was easy to install and blows ice cubes!

I ordered the water heater exhaust vent kit on 8/3/16, it wasn't mentioned they didn't have it in stock, and it wasn't shipped until 8/18/16. That added an additional 15 days when I need a CO to move in.

I had called for a part under warranty for an LG minutes play AC unit purchased on 2/21/17. They sent it via UPS to the wrong address. Even though I took responsibility for not making sure they had the correct address, Brian‘s response was that he was signing off on that, that he was not up to me to try to get the part, and hanged up on me. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

I needed to replace my old tankless water heater as soon as possible. Energy Conscious delivered at the best price. My new Takagi is performing much better than my old Bosch ever did. I am very satisfied.

The price of the item dropped by 20% within a week of purchase but the seller wouldn't honor it.

The product arrived prompt but was described as made from a "fire retardant material" but it was a corrugated cardboard box sprayed with a fire retardant. Perfect habitat for roaches in an attic and now I have asked for a return authorization per the website instruction and have not received a response.

When we converted out garage to a work space 8 years ago, we bought a unit like they use in hotel rooms. It has worked great until last month. We replace it with this unit - a much better and quieter unit, and more energy efficient. Seller was quick and delivered on time. And we were able to get it on sale.

Granted the model of the mower I ordered was discontinued - I was told three separate times that my purchase had been shipped and I would be receiving tracking number. I was told this on three separate days by two different people and the mower was never shipped and I never received a tracking number and I ultimately cancelled my order and asked for a refund. I would have appreciated some honesty.

I ordered 2 LG air conditioners on 7/31/2018 which arrived on 8/19/18, yes, 20 days later.

I then received a bill from FedEx Freight saying I owed them $60.03 for "No Loading dock. No forklift." I disputed it with FedEx with back and forth and then called EnergyConscious.com on 11/7/2018 at 3:27pm who said it should have happened, but did not take direct responsibility, blaming LG. I asked them to CC me on the email to LG that they said they were sending, but they never CC'd me and seeming never sent the email. Either way, it's 11/20 and this is still unresolved. FedEx Freight has now sent it to Collections! If EnergyConscious.com ever fixes this I'll update this review.

I heard nothing from Energy Conscious for 5 days after I made the order (Thursday before Labor Day). Not a peep.

I had to contact them the following week (Tuesday) with an inquiry re: the shipping information.

The product is limited (electric lawn mower battery) and it is not like I can get it at local retail outlets so time is crucial (no battery, no lawn mowed)!

Perhaps you might want to send shipping info out when the item is shipped but in any event the customer should be notified of expected delivery time as soon as you know it. You even could give an estimate after the order is originally processed.

Once I notified EC, I got a return email in 12 hours so the query was "sort of" answered, just a tad later than I expected.

Ordered on the a Wednesday paid for two day shipping hoping to have part for customer by weekend (thermostat for hot water heater) I checked status of order on Thursday it was not shipped so I emailed and asked to change to 3 day shipping figuring it would not make it in two days by that point. I did not get a response. Checked status on Friday product was shipped out Friday AM. I received part on Monday. Paid for two day shipping and did not receive for 5 days. Perhaps poor planning on my part ordering 3 days prior to weekend. Energy Conscious reimbursed us the difference between the two day and three day shipping. It was a bit of a hassle but Energy Conscious was determined to make things right.

I had purchased a different product 4 my attic above the garage and ended up taking them back because they didn't work at all. I found this product online and it was delivered promptly and worked perfectly.

On 7/2 contacted customer service by phone and cancelled order because told model was not available wanted to send different model . Charged . When contacted by freight company Informed them order was cancelled and will not accept delivery .
Waiting for charge to be removed.
