My son has been attending the Beeston branch since October 2018 - I couldn't be any happier with the progress he has made.

My son is 7, and has ASD - the staff are accommodating of his individual needs, and he does more work in an hour's session at the centre then he does in a day at school! His progress has been brilliant.

We use the tax-free childcare system which reduces our monthly payments - however in my opinion it is money well spent. We both work shifts, and the flexibility in his sessions (you turn up, no set appointment times) is probably the selling point for us! Often its groups of 1:2 or 1:3 - rarely does he sit in a 1:6 just as the centre's are never packed.

With schools currently being shut, we have access to the system at home, and he is currently having 1 hour 1:1 with a tutor via webcam - their ability to keep him engaged via webcam amazes me!

I would not hesitate to recommened Explore Learning.

My daughter currently attends the Altrincham site and takes the weekly computer based lessons and also the 11+ lessons. Since starting Explore Learning 14 months ago, my daughters confidence has grown significantly and she has learnt a lot in such a short space of time. The staff here are amazing!!! They are all very welcoming and are on hand to answer any questions you have, whether that be face to face or email. You can sense they are all very passionate about their job and go above and beyond to help you. Absolutely worth every penny.

We enrolled our son (YR 2) at Christmas as we felt he was dropping behind in classes and this would be an excellent way to support learning at school. He has been attending 2 sessions a week and has made great progress. It's excellent for him to develop some independent learning skills but with tutors on hand for a small group to encourage him to ask for help and explain how he reached his answers and break work down. During the Coronavirus lockdown it has been a god send as working parents to be able to have access to a tutor for an individual session - a guaranteed hour a week with a tutor that isn't Mum & Dad. Having a set day & time helps to keep routine. Tutors are encouraging & patient and feedback is provided after each session. Regular parents evening track progress and the Lizard card reward scheme is giving him something to work towards. Thanks so much!

Our daughter joined Explore Learning Wolverhampton late in October 2019 and has progressed academically, with all tutors encouraging her to work beyond what she thought she was capable of. In particular, we have been impressed with the centre being able to adapt very quickly during the covid-19 lockdown period. They have managed to provide excellent one to one tuition online and provide detailed feedback that enables our daughter to continuously improve and challenge herself.
Our daughter has continued to show a thirst for knowledge and I know Explorer's have enhanced this with their excellent team. A special thank you to Elza, Jodie and Regan who have been extremely helpful, both with answering any queries we have had and for their input with out daughter's learning.
We look forward to the journey our daughter continues on with Explorer Learning.

We signed up with Explore Learning (Reading) 2 weeks before the restricted movement rule kicked in - without realising that we would in this situation.
I am super impressed with the way that Explore have embraced the change, and have reacted in a way I would have never imagined - immediately kicking into online lessons.
The service provided is professional - the online 1-2-1 sessions / 11+ session happen on time, in full and the tutors full engaged and professional.
In these uncertain times, I am thankful that Explore is here to support us.

My sons have been going to explorer learning for eight months. They enjoy their sessions both in the centre and online. They are learning new skills and improving on the Maths and English. One of my sons has ASD and we have been very pleased with the support he has received and how well he has adapted to the program.

I would 100% recommend that you invest and place your child(ren) in Explore Learning Maths and English (as early as possible). 2 x 1 hour sessions per week to start off with. From Year 2 onwards, add in the free Creative Writing session. From term 2 in Year 4, the 11 plus course at Explore Learning. The centre tutors including 121 sessions encourage children in Maths and English with their learning. My son attends the Knaphill centre. The software Explore Learning uses, tracks each individual child's progress. This is money well spent nurturing your child's education & potential.

My twins have been going to the Oldham centre since Jan 2019 and attending the Year 4-11+ lessons since Sept 2019 and love it and have been stretched/challenged really well.
The lockdown hasn't been easy, the alternative online 1-2-1 lessons have been good, although my kids can't wait to get back to the Oldham centre

My son started at Explore Learning just before coronavirus lockdown and has been doing the online course during lockdown with weekly one to one hour sessions with a tutor. He really enjoys both the self-led learning online and the tutor sessions and for me Explore Learning has been my saviour! He does a minimum of 15 mins a day on English and Maths and it means that if the rest of the days learning goes badly at least I know he is keeping up with National Curriculum for English and Maths. He enjoys the work and has progressed massively since starting the course. Being dyslexic he has always found English difficult and he had no confidence in it, however now his English scores are better than his maths and he is super-condfident! Amazing!

I have two sons attending the center (Heaton Park) pre Covid-19. We decided to join because my oldest was struggling with maths. The teachers are warm and friendly, creating an atmosphere of fun but at the same time children are learning. Now my son's problem is history because his attitude towards learning and overall performance has improved. My youngest is in reception and extremely shy both at the centre and during the online sessions. For several weeks we have watched him grow, slowly, having made progress from whispering at the computer to having a proper engaging interaction with his tutor. He loves Phonics Hero and looks forward to each session. And that's because of the consistent service we have been receiving. The entire team at Heaton Park are great, but we want to say a special thank you to Elena for the exceptional service.

Our daughter has been a member of Explore Learning for about 18months now and we have been really impressed with the management, tutors, centre and learning resources. More importantly, our daughter enjoys attending her sessions - whether at the centre or, more recently, online via Teams - and happily works through the learning content, and is encouraged to use the tutors for questions or to demonstrate her knowledge. We have found Explore to be excellent all year round in supporting learning but in particular over the summer holidays when maintaining the momentum and continuing with some structure is really helpful.
We would recommend Explore Learning wholeheartedly. Thanks Woking Team!

Our son has been at explore now for nearly a year now.
Although a quiet lad at school, and normally reluctant to try new things, explore and their tutors seems to help him so much with his confidence with it being smaller groups of children.
All the tutors are always very engaging and enthusiastic which really puts him at ease and gets him working hard.
The structure of explore seems to be great, the feedback from parents evening is always very well out and it's been amazing to see him to better at school in the same subjects.

Former Assistant Director It has taken me a very long time to bring myself to do this however-it must be said. As a former manager I must say the following: When I was a tutor, everything was brilliant. I was given all the support and guidance needed in order to provide the best quality of education and customer service. The previous management staff adored the families and the staff they worked with. They were a second family to me whom I could seek professional and personal advice from. As soon as I became a manager everything changed. I was sent to another centre that has been under-performing for years. They expected a new team to be able to turn the place upside down within months...talk about delusional. Explore Learning is a business and people who want to work here need to remember that. As much as they claim to "want to support your professional development" they are a lot of back stabbers and extremely shallow people within the company. It disgusts me to know how many of them are brilliant at being two-faced and self-centred. Oh and please forget being provided with any form of support if you suffer from anxiety. The regional manager had the nerve to say she was a former Samaritan and would give me any support I needed. Yes, "her support" was the biggest and main cause of my constant mental breakdowns. She even had the nerve to say "You have a choice, either you hand in your notice or we'll fire you." Isn't that fantastic? Years of devotion, dedication and genuine passion for your job and this is the thanks you get. It isn't just me who has had all their hard work and years of commitment thrown back in their face. As I've stated above, Explore Learning is a business and a very catty one as well. The fact that they reported my initial review is PROOF that they are afraid of having their true self exposed. Its a good thing I have screen shots of this and have consulted a legal adviser for their misconduct. If you're a sales-driven person who's incentive is money then you're at the right place. If you're an educational professional who wishes to commit to a job where your motivation is making a difference to the lives of many talented children then I advise you look elsewhere and not Explore Learning.
