My biggest complaint is that their website/technology/platform is usually never working properly. Always an issue whether its the website not loading, customer service not up & running, not being able to click through to live/add ons/ etc... They should really consider updating their back end technology to make a more user friendly/easier experience!
I received a cardigan which is HUGE and might work as a bathrobe but I already have two of those.
Gold necklace looks like plastic kiddie or vending machine jewelry.
Detangling brush might be OK but I already own two of them.
Random hair and skin products I may or may not use.
Overall nothing that I would have spent money on.
I got the email to customize my summer 2020 box and every time I try, I get an error message. The one item I would have liked (kimono) is already out of stock, and more is going out of stock while I deal with the error messages. Tried to chat with them and was something like #454 in the queue so I emailed instead. Unless I'm able to successfully customize my summer box with items I actually want, I'll go ahead and cancel.
I agree that I was late to purchasing the box as they usually open for customizations in the month of feb. I was only able to choose from one or two items as the rest were sold out. I contacted customer care to see if they can cancel my box. I was able to cancel my subscription but not the spring box( I contacted a few minutes after I placed the order but they weren't able to cancel from their side.)
I received my box in less than two weeks. Packaging was great. the Wander Mascara is amazing! the Donni cardigan is a little too big for me( its just one size) but I certainly can find a dress to wear it with. I did receive a mystery item that was a vitamin C serum. The calpak travel organizer will also be something I will be using. I dont know if I would have paid $42 for these but thats the whole point of the subscription box.
One thing I would be mindful of is that they have a very different policy when it comes to adding things to your cart. During the spring sale event, I added a box to the cart by mistake(did not proceed) and was charged for the box at the end of the event. That is when I realized- anything thats added to the cart will be completed by them and charged at the end of the event. So be mindful about that.( Yes, the customer care was nice to refund this one time *phew*)
Overall, I think it was an ok experience. Customer service is not bad. I did get an email regarding the summer box. Will I subscribe again? Honestly, I dont know. I like the excitement in receiving the products but I dont think I can afford the cost of it. So maybe not.
Confirmed would delete data as requested under data protection rights request in January. Then sent subscription emails in May. Clearly did not care about any data protection rights. When raised with company they couldn’t care less.
Bad customer service. Worse protection of personal data. Do not share your personal data, they clearly don’t want to protect it.
Cancel quickly !!!!
Edit: Due to the styling team’s prompt and considerate response, I have to bump up their star rating. They were so helpful and nice!
