I booked for 10.00am 1st day, confirmed by email & sms by company . . . . I then received a phone call telling me the team running late due to previous job & I would receive a call letting know when they would arrive. After 3 calls by me aover the next hour I was told they would come later in the day, this was not convenient for me so I suggested perhaps early day 2. Yes, I was told this would be much better & 8 or 8.30 was offered as these times would ensure there would be no problem with jobs beforehand. I agreed to 8.30 & received confirmation by email & sms. The house to be cleaned was empty as we had moved out, I arrived at 8.20am, at 8.35 I received a call from Fantastic Services telling me that the cleaning team would not be coming!! How good is that for service . . . . . NO apology nothing! I note that if I had cancelled I would have been penalised. NO star rating!!!

I booked for a gardening service for 1100. At 1115 when the gardener had not arrived I checked the confirmation email and found that this company has ‘flexibility’ in adhering to the appointment time specified by the customer. Arrival time for the service can be up to 1 hour after the requested time. They say that this accounts for traffic and other unforeseen delays eg the previous job going over time. How ridiculous and inconvenient. I have never experienced this with other services. Why ask the customer for a booking time in the first instance? Some of us work and have diaries to maintain.

If this review was based on the quality of the job done by the cleaners then this would be a 5 star review with nothing but praise, they were not only on time but did an utterly fantastic job, to the point that both my landlord and the rental agency commented on how good the job was.

The reason why this review is so low however is based on the balance of my involvement with the company. Firstly they got the details wrong on what was required for the clean (though the cleaners did the additional work at no charge, which is a testament to them), the pest treatment provider was extremely late (1+ hours, exact time is unknown as I eventually had to return to work leaving the premises unlocked) and provided a different treatment to what I had ordered.

Things got even worse however as, so as to hand back my property to the agent, I was required to provide the cleaning invoice and the pest treatment invoice, however I am still yet to receive the pest treatment invoice from the company - the service was provided over a month ago (even though the company knew that the hand over date was the day of the treatment and that I was required to provide both invoices). This is despite the company having received payment and despite me calling them to chase the invoice and letting them know that I required the invoice so as to be able to hand back my property. The telephone staff were rude, utterly disinterested in helping, and lied several times. As a result, but for my real estate agent cutting me some slack and letting me off the hook in relation to the pest treatment invoice, I would have been required to pay additional rent due to being unable to hand back the property.

I would strongly recommend not using this company if you are a tenant and have to have your documentation in order to hand back your property. I am sorry for the cleaners who did the job as your exceptional work is being undermined by a company that doesn't care about its customers.

I used this company for an end of lease clean and at this stage I was 6 months pregnant. When I booked the clean what I was initially promised and what I paid for did not reflect the receipt and had items missing from it. I called back and they gave me a whole heap of items that would not be included in the clean. When I told them that’s not what I was initially told, theY told me that I was assisted by a trainee and was given incorrect information. I had to go with it as the clean was booked for the next day.
The cleaners told me they were on their way over a 7 hour period after having to call them to find out where they were numerous times. I was initially promised a 8:30 start and in the end they did not rock up until 3:30pm. I needed to hand the keys back to the agency by the end of that day which obviously did not happen. The clean finished at 6pm and when I came back to the property only 20% of the job was done. They did not use proper cleaning products and mirrors, showers were left dirty.
I had to stay back and clean myself until 9pm. When the company sent me a text message requesting me to rate the cleaner I gave him 1 Star. 10 minutes later I received a text message from him saying that I wasn’t nice. When I called the company to complain they told me that they don’t have a management team and that I could only complain by email.
One year later they charged my credit card again for no reason. When I questioned why and how they still have my credit card details on file I just kept a receiving a generic email back. Levi Black the customer service rep was the person I was dealing with on the phone the year prior and to my surprise he is the same person replying to my emails this year.
This company is the biggest scam. No apologies, no explanation and absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. I ended up paying $800 for a clean that I ended up doing myself whilst being 6 months pregnant which is disgusting.

The cleaners are unprofessional today cleaner booked in at 1 pm it’s 3 pm no show make excuses stuck in traffic don’t do dishes and left half hour early ... dodgy business I do not recommend waste your time and money

I've been using Fantastic Services for about a year now.
I have had regular weekly and fortnightly cleaning and they have been awesome. Very efficient, polite, on time, flexible, organised and professional. I am generally here when they come and they are quiet and friendly too.
I've had a regular team of cleaners and a few random one off crews when I've changed my bookings. All the cleaning teams have been great and I've had no complaints.
When dealing with the administration directly I have always found them to be super efficient, flexible and accommodating as well. I can change dates/times/regular slots very easily and with no push back or issues. I've even done it last minute - within the 24 hour cut off - and I've been accommodated.
Definitely recommend them.

***After I made the below post, I was contacted immediately by Fantastic Services apologising for the delay and informing me my refund had been processed and it was in my account within 3 business days. They also gave me a $20 credit if I choose to use their service again***


- They took my credit card details to "secure the booking" for my carpet clean. It was an urgent clean needed prior to new tenants moving into property. 20 mins before appointment time I received a text message saying the technician was unavailable. I had to call them to ask for an alternative appointment. None available that day. Due to urgency, I requested to cancel and found another provider to clean carpets. It has now been 3 weeks and they have still not refunded me my $143 for the clean. They told me it is "still active with accounts". I was never informed that my money would be taken from my account the night prior to the service. Very unhappy and still trying to get my money back for a service never received.

Had my first oven & house cleaning service last week and I am hooked. The cleaner arrived on time and completed all the tasks on my wish list in the allocated time. My husband was also impressed and we are now looking at getting regular cleaning done. Thank you for a great job Raza

I scheduled in 2pm on Wednesday to have my apartment cleaned in Sydney with Paul's Cleaning Service and received a text confirmation from Fantastic Services. They told me they are the same company but I got a more expensive quote from Fantastic Services, which was why I went with Paul's cleaning service.

After confirming 2pm Wed, I scheduled my day off work in Newcastle, drove down to Sydney Wed morning and Fantastic Services called me at 2pm saying they can't make it!? They asked to reschedule for the next day but I was planning on driving back to Newcastle for work on Thu. I ended up having to stay in Sydney and rescheduled Fantastic Services for 8am to 9am, they did not get to my place until after 9am. They said it will take two hours for cleaning but it took more than 3 hours and I had to get them to shut the door behind them and wasn't able to check the place because I had to return my keys to the real estate agent by noon.

Fantastic Services were extremely unprofessional. If they are going to cancel, they should let us know at least 12 hours in advance. Cancelling on me at 2pm when my appointment at 2pm is completely unacceptable. My drive down to Sydney was a complete waste of my time. I am very disappointed with them.

I asked for 8 windows to be cleaned. I was given a price for the job. When the two men arrived (later than originally agreed), they wanted to haggle on the price, saying because my windows had 2 panes of glass in them, it would cost extra. It all seemed like a tourist marketplace, a haggling game to them. Luckily I wasn't in a rush, so I told them to cancel the job. When I said I wanted it cancelled, then they magically were able to honour their initial quote. I still cancelled it. I wouldn't trust these people in my home for five minutes.

As an aside, their body odour was repulsive.

I recently had a bad experience with Fantastic during a vacate clean. I had been quoted a certain price and when I met the cleaners onsite they advised that due to it not being an "average" clean that an extra $152 was required. I paid it and expected a decent job. I was later advised by the cleaners that certain areas could not be cleaned to the "Fantastic" standard i.e. oven, tiled areas etc. These same areas the landlord/agent inspected and found were not completed satisfactorily i.e. mainly tiles in bathrooms and toilet. I had chased the landlord/agent for a response earlier but didn't receive this feedback until after the 72hr warranty had expired. I was 1 day late and it was not my fault, would have been nice to have some leeway. I then engaged Kathy (from Bling Property Services) who have addressed all the items your team could not complete/guarantee. They also commented on the poor quality of work that was delivered by your team in general. I had to pay another $200 to get the job properly.

This was the second time Jas the gardener had been. The first time he attended he finished well within the time and I was charged for the lesser time - very honest. Everything was left clean and tidy. The second time was just as good as the previous visit. The area was left clean and tidy, Jas kept discussing and checking with me how I wanted the work done as it is an older established garden. He had a great attitude and listened to my instructions. Jas is extremely polite and helpful and I will have him back any day!

The cleaners arrived 2 hours and 18 minutes late to the booking! Booking was for 9am they arrived 12:18pm! When they finally arrived cleaners said they needed more money to complete end of lease cleaning because unit was not clean? Which unit is clean at end of lease cleaning after furniture is removed? Why would I book they to clean a clean unit in the first place? Very disappointing and they took my money upfront and did not do the job. Getting my refund was not easy many, many phone calls was made. Please be careful of people who promise but do not deliver!!!

I am your latest victim of your substandard and pathetic end of lease cleaning which was on on 21st June Ref. #19053003TAM at U 52 147-151 Talavera Road Marsfield 2122 . The cleaners did a below average job and I told them then and there that my agency will not accept this. As expected we were asked for a re-clean. When we approached your team to avail the guarantee which you promise of re-clean , your Agent [name removed] was extremely un pleasant said they cannot do anything. He some how convinced us that if we use another cleaner to complete the pending work , they will cover for the additional charge. We payed $200 for Home Clean and $ 150 for carpet clean and now when we are asking for our money , your staff is the rejecting that claim and offering only $100 .

Is this the way you treat your customers ? I have been double crossed by your staff who does not care even once for the customer who has been false made to pay double the amount.

I have asked [name removed] to transfer me to a supervisor and he does not do that.
NOR anyone has bothered to call me back.

It’s been 2 weeks and action has been taken by your team.

This is the worst customer experience we have been given ever.
Can someone from your management call me and explain what is going on ?

I paid for an end of lease clean and told it would take at least 3 hours. There were two males and they messaged at 2 hours saying they were finished. Upon return there were obvious things not cleaned and I could see dirt and dust. I asked about them and they went downstairs and got 1 cloth and gumption. They attempted to clean the bathtub, windows, mirrors, cupboards they missed with the one cloth. When they left I found more dirt and dust inside cupboards and on the floors, as well as windows (they had closed the blinds so I wouldn’t see) that weren’t cleaned. I decided to clean it myself rather then needing to get them back a third time! They said to me at the start it would be an easy clean because it was so small and I had looked after it. Paying 250$ for 2 hours end of lease clean you would imagine no dirt or dust found..... not the case. It was an older building/apartment so it was like they though it wouldn’t matter. Not very professional. I made a complaint with the company and as a token of a small apology they offered a 30$ voucher .... I will not use them again. Be mindful and have low expectations.

He took the time to understand the problem before he arrived which was essential to fixing the problem. All the Doors presented different problems which he fixed thoroughly and this was a great job

2 cleaners for 1 hour did a good job. Did Dusting, Vacuuming, cleaned bathroom and mopped Kitchen. It does depend on the individual cleaners - sometimes they send good ones and sometimes they are not as good. The team I got this time were great.

Was concerned at first - quoted $565 for End of Lease clean, carpet steam cleaning and wall spot clean but was then told that they wouldn't guarantee our bond back because of the marks on walls, doors and carpets. Marks were made by previous tenants so whilst I understood I was also very frustrated that their guarantee wasn't a guarantee. However, they managed to remove old marks as well and the house looked great - better than when we moved in. We got our bond back and feedback from the agent was that the landlord was very impressed.
