I have invested in ISAs since I was 18, so at the grand age of 44 I would hope I was savvy enough not to be duped by conmen. In October 2018 I invested £10k into an ISA with London Capital Finance (LCF), after checking they were authorised & regulated by the FCA. 2 months later I find out that I’ve been robbed & that the FCA were warned about LCF’s illegal activity 3 years before!!! 3 f**king year’s robbing £237m & nothing has been done to recoup our investments. What is the point of the FCA or FSCS if this is the result?
Shameful and irresponsible behaviour. Andrew Bailey was CEO & quite frankly should never again work in the finance sector- did he & colleagues knowingly turn a blind eye?

FCA are supposed to investigate companies.What an absolute waste of time.I am still waiting for them to respond to a complaint I sent to them in September 2019 regarding the way they deal with the public and an ongoing investigation that started in May 2018.They still have not replied because they say they are overwhelmed with complaints about the FCA.What a surprise.They never give you any information because it is against protocol but expect for me to provide them with everything that I gave them in May 2018.They are awful and a waste of taxpayers money and am still 80K out of pocket.

The FCA is a total waste of time, how can they say a company is regulated, let that company get away with fraud for years and then say although the company was regulated the product they were selling was not? How are the public meant to know what’s regulated and what’s not and if the company is committing fraud then what was the FCA actually regulating?? Useless

Despite being warned about LCF in 2015 FCA still stood by and watched 11600 people invest in LCF people like me a pensioner who invested their life savings because of FCA incompetence, you knew what was going on but allowed it to happen over and over again.

Recently invested thousands in a firm called London Capital & Finance Ltd; secured bonds, an ISA account and regulated by the FCA, only to discover that it was a complete scam! Nothing LCF said about itself turned out to be true, so how did it have the FCA's backing?? Myself and over eleven thousand other investors were all conned by this firm and are still awaiting some redress and compensation. The FCA should come with a Goverment HEALTH WARNING.

I found this on the UK government website which is regulated by the UK government. Search FCA on the UK government website. FCA provides a register that contains many regulated online financial services. For a financial service to be regulated, it must say that the status is authorized. If the status says that it is unauthorized or the online financial service is not on the register then the financial service can be a scam. Do not trust any unregulated online financial services. FCA is a great tool for avoiding financial service scams.

We referred a case about fraud committed by a Halifax employee and a Colleys employee which has been "endorsed" by the Lloyds Banking Group Board of Directors. The FCA has refused to investigate despite the overwhelming evidence that we have collected.

There is no justice for individuals are held accountable for bank losses in cases like this - formal Court action is prohibitively expensive and Solicitors wont take on the cases. I thought the FCA was supposed to help!

If we could get a group of people who have gone through what we have, we can finding for legal action but as individuals we are voices in the wind. We would love to hear from people who have struggled like us.

Despite being informed about the dubious financial activities of London Capital and Finance (LCF) a number of years ago, the FCA did not act to prevent further investments into LCF by the innocent public resulting in financial disaster for thousands of people

London Capital And Finance we’re regulated by the FCA and are now being investigated by the Serious Fraud Organisation!! The FCA knew in 2015 that dodgy deals were being done by LC&F yet allowed the FCA regulated logo to continue on their advertising until 2018 If they had stopped this company in 2015 as they should have done I wouldn’t be £15000 down!! Andrew Bailey is now abdicating responsibility and hopeful to become the next head of the Bank of England!! Absolute joke!!

Should have zero star as that is all I would give for the incompetency of an organisation which is meant to protect against fraud. Probably paid far too much money for an inadequate service.

Totally let down by these impotent so called regulators, their website says only trust FCA Authorised and regulated companies otherwise it could be a scam only to find London Capital and finance were the biggest fraudsters of the century aided and abetted by the FCA! These are facilitating the fraudsters and years behind them. Fraudsters are running rings around them with the knowledge it will take years before they are stopped as with LC&F who have ran away with £236 million pounds of elderly and vulnerable investors hard earned cash - they are a disgrace. I bought my 2019 Jeep Wrangler in July of this year and it’s been four months and my navigation stopped working. It couldn’t locate my location so I brought into unique Chrysler on walkers line and they said it’s probably the whole radio so I set up an appointment two weeks from that date. That ended up being yesterday and once I got my vehicle back they said they ordered a new radio and that my radio had crashed during diagnosis which meant I had no access to my screen/music/nav. I left unique chrysler and had the night to sleep on the fact that I wasn’t in a fully functioning car so I planned to come today and talk to them about getting into another vehicle while my car waits for the part. I paid for a $50,000 + vehicle and I thought I deserve to be in a brand new car where everything is working. Before I could even make it out my door to my 6am workout my car was completely dead and screen glitching. The tow company arrived at 6:30 and I got to unique Chrysler by 7am, the manager there explained he was not authorized to give me a rental and told me to reach out to FCA Canada and that they would be the best people to talk to to help me out. I got through on the line and my case managers named was Andrew. Right off the bat I knew this guy didn’t care about my situation, he was ignorant and would cut me off as I spoke reading from a manual it seemed. He then said we could set up a rental and when I gave my phone to the service manager he changed his mind and said because they rebooted my car and got it to run they wouldn’t give me a rental. I started arguing with him because after the amount of money I’ve paid for my Jeep and the headache it has caused me I thought any customer service rep would do whatever’s possible to make the customer happy. I was sadly wrong in this situation. He said he didn’t think it could happen and would run it by his manager. He then said the manager said the same thing and when I asked to talk to the manager I was told that he wasn’t available. The lack of concern for my situation was disgusting and the fact that I couldn’t even talk to someone was disappointing. I left that phone call feeling very defeated and felt like I wasn’t taken seriously at all. I have zero respect for FCA Canada and believe they need to do some serious customer service training. If it wasn’t for the unique Chrysler team I would never purchase anything from FCA again.

To us this shows that the business is credible and well known for its products, services or innovation.
