I'm not one to write bad reviews but first Ireland have left me without an insurance disc for over a month now, every time I call I seem to be fobbed off with false promises. I've stopped by the guards on a number of occasions and nearly getting my car taken of me really make it difficult to drive from day to day without worrying. Absolute disgrace, when you pay over a thousand euro you expect to receive your disc. I'll be cancelling my insurance with them indefinitely and moving onto a company more reliable.

I have gone through First Ireland for 4 years and will continue to get my insurance through them as they are professional and very efficient. Takes all of the hassle out of renewing insurance

I renewed my taxi policy recently and it was all done in a matter of minutes. Very courteous staff. Would highly recommend Fist Ireland

It was my first time dealing with First Ireland. I got a Classic car policy which offered fantastic value and very comprehensive cover that nobody else could offer on a 20 year old car. The problem that I found when dealing with First Ireland was that while the staff were all excellent and freindly to deal with I didn't seem to be dealing with one dedicated staff member. The problem arose as I had to gather a lot of further information to get cover but every time I had a query or a problem I ended up explaining the same problem or query over and over again via email or phone to three different staff members when the whole process could have been so much easier had I been dealing with just one staff member! But I will most certainly be dealing with First Ireland in the future.

I found First Ireland very good for classic insurance. Only thing is the wait on the phone is annoying.
