This is the first time we have built a home and we were prepared for it to be a very stressful time, however this was not the case for us, we were very blessed with having our home built by Firstyle homes, from start to finish every person within the company we dealt with, was prompt to reply to any of our questions and concerns, the communication process was very efficient, honest and easy to understand.

We had a great building manager who took pride in his work and wanted every detail to be perfect for our home. The workmanship and quality of the build is good.

There were no hidden charges at all and we were very happy with our final cost, as it was exactly what we were expecting.

It was a pleasant and stress free experience for us and we can not thank the team enough for all of their hard work and dedication.

My husband and i paid a deposit for a house and land package in May 2018 and we were given our keys last week, we were ecstatic because this is exactly what Warren promised us at the Edmondson park office.
We were told by so many people that building will be the worst experience of our lives but in fact it was fun and smooth sailing thanks to Firstyle homes.
Everyone has been so helpful from the start to the end, we couldnt be more impressed with the customer service received.
We were also told by so many people that when building a home, the site supervisor would change throughout the build. Well again people were wrong, Dane Elliot was appointed our site supervisor, and he was also the man who did our handover. Dane was fanatstic at his job, he stayed in contact with us all the time about the progress of the home, he would even send us images when required, he made us feel as if this house was just as important to him as it was us. He answered all of our questions and he would rectify any concerns we had. Very impressed with his work.
Adriana Daniel was also very impressive, she was so helpful with all of our insane questions, like 'why have i received a water bill and im not living in my house', she would get on to it promptly and in no time id receive an email back stating why. She was also fantastic in providing me any documents my bank requested, and answered any other question we had regarding the build.
Both my husband and i are very grateful to Firstyle Homes for giving us our beautiful home and for making the building process an amazing, simple one.

First Home Buyer going through the build process. It was slightly confusing at times but Jodie from First Style made the process very easy to understand. She also helped me find a perfect block of land after a small mishap at a different lot. This is prior to construction but so far there have been no problems.

Following our initial review we were contacted by the Firstyle’s CEO and General Manager.

The General Manager and the Construction & Maintenance Officer had immediately reviewed our files and attended our requests without delay, we only have one item to complete.

Whilst they cannot justify the poor level of service we received during and after construction, their effort to resolve the remaining issues in the last two weeks have been outstanding.

It would have been a much more pleasurable experience if this kind of service was provided from the beginning.

We only hope that the Firstyle staff (in head office) are provided with the necessary training to enable them to better assist a home owner through the construction and hand-over processes.

The best part of our journey was the construction stage, that was managed very well by the supervisor Graham Allan, because he was always straight forward and real with the time frames. Also, if something had gone wrong he was very cool to fix it immediately and didn't wait to be done after the handling over stage. Always available for a call, and he used to updated us every week without our request. It wasn't stressed experience for us at all.

About the quality, I can mentioned few problems that have come out after we moved in, like the shower in the laundry started leaking, the driveway lost its color after only 1 day raining. My opinion is, this happens with every building company, so there must show up something as a problem, we all make mistakes.
However, they offered us to report everything now and don't wait up to 5 months, as it is their official time frame for reporting issues and hopefully they will fix it prior. So, I can say they are still trying to do something, not just reject you and say no you have to wait for 5 months.

Negative experience I want to mention is the sales stuff in Oran Park...not always they give you a correct estimate or true information...they promise you things that they are out of their range and duties, but you figure out after you get to that stage when you cannot change anything.

One more positive thing I can say is, their administration support trough the whole loan application was very good and on time. We really appreciate their support and help to be approved with the loan on time.

My construction team consisted of David Eisenhuth and Adrianna Daniel and to say it was a stress free build is an understatement. From the initial meetings to locking in colour schemes and facade packages the team at Firstyle were always there for information and never left me in the dark about anything. I have currently just moved into my new home and am absolutely stoked with the outcome. would definitely recommend Firstyle Homes in the future.

Ken Ford (Sales Executive) from Emerald Hills/Spring Farm was brilliant! We were very nervous with selling our current home and building again, however Ken made us feel secure and explained the entire process in detail. He was professional, friendly and most importantly answered all our questions with ease. If customer service is important to you, I would definitely go and see Ken. Depending on what you are after, pricing was reasonable and customer service was of high standard which is hard to find these days. Thank you Ken for your knowledge and advice. Danielle

For the past 5 months we have been planning the construction of our dream home with Ken and Elena at Firstyle Emerald Hills. Kens knowledge of the building trade, the company and his suggestions has helped us to plan exactly what we were after with total transparency of cost and planning.

"Jodie Howe" at the spring farm display home was helpful and explaining everything at the very first time I call her for inquiry about the house and land package.Best part is the "fixed price" cost to build the house.We are so excited to continue to build our home. Thanks for reading my review.

We are currently in our pre-construction stage and Jodie Howe has been a wonderful consultant. She is very prompt and always there to answer any questions. She has ensured every step of the pre-construction phase has gone smoothly. We recommended, using firstyle and definitely asking for Jodie from Spring Farm to walk you through the process.

Building our first home we had no idea where to start or what to do, Jodie at the spring farm display home was so patient and took her time explaining everything for us, Jodie made the whole experience very easy, we couldn’t be happier, Can’t wait for it be finished!

Jodie at Spring Farm has been so helpful to my wife and I as we build our new home. She helped answer all questions and put us very much as ease through the whole buying process. First time building a house and Firstyle was the builders we chose, the team Lauren and Tim have been really Helpful in the construction phase
Tim was the Second Site Supervisor on the project since the first one has left.
Tim has done a wonderful job in picking up from where it was left( not the normal delays in handover)
and always keeping us updated on progress on a weekly basis.
They have also been really helpful in accommodating small request and excellent turn around.
Hoping to keep momentum and have construction completed soon.

I just wanted to personally thank Dane Elliott (Construction Supervisor) and Firstyle team for building our dream home. The experience I have with you guys was outstanding. The project was on time and we were kept in consistent contact on all progress and updates.
Dane was absolutely amazing to deal with and very professional. He makes sure that we got what we wanted. He has done a fantastic job and I can never ask for more.
Adriana was very helpful throughout the entire process. Her level of customer service is exceptional.
You guys have exceeded our expectations in every way. Its the qualities like these make you stand from other builders.
The first time that my 3 year old daughter saw the house, she keeps on saying Mommy I love this house..

I am currently in the pre-construction stage of my build and I can say that so far, Firstyle Homes and Jodie Howe have been excellent and patient with me. They have answered all my queries promptly whether they were via email or text messages. They have also been very supportive through the process where I have been getting stressed with the bank side of things. So far everything has run smoothly and efficiently and I look forward to the next stage of this process.

We have had the pleasure to have dealt with the lovely sales representative Warren Brown and our Construction Supervisor Dane Elliot.

Warren Brown made the initial process so smooth and reassured us by answering all our questions as we were a young and couple with overwhelmed emotions with this whole process and with wedding plans on the way.

Dane Elliot, what can we say..? He has been a pleasure to deal with!
He has always above and beyond with all aspects. Definitely has the best attention to detail and will make the right calls as if he was building for himself. Furthermore, his communication was superb! At all times keeping us in the loop with calls and photos of the progress and to top it off, he is also a top bloke!

For the construction administration team however, cant say we have had the same experience and this is the reason why FIRSTYLE HOMES will not get the full 5 stars.
Initially we were going to give 3 stars, but we reconsidered and decided that Warren and Dane did not deserve the 3 stars due to someone else poor efforts.

Initially we had Karen and she was not bad to deal with at all. It was the next person that took over (will not mention this persons name).
The correspondences from this person made us very uneasy and frustrated. It seems that this person does not at all know how to deal or talk to customers as they came off very demanding and rude!

In one incident, It feels as though they made no efforts or communicate with our on construction supervisor prior to sending us final documentation to pass onto the bank as certain parts were not done, plumbing fit offs were not complete, PCI was cancelled and certain parts on Backorder. We were OK that the house was not rushed to be completed as we wanted our house to be built properly, but we felt rushed and was told that:
"it doesnt matter if the PCI was cancelled this payment still needs to be made within the due date."
Supposed "Hand over date" was next week however the house is not yet complete and we felt forced to pay for an incomplete house. We werent comfortable with that, but rather than having an argument and ruining our day we just complied.

It is not everyday you buy a house let alone build one, we felt like the admin team doesn't understand or have forgotten that they're talking to a customer who is already overwhelmed and is also "PAYING" their company for this service and should not be budding heads with them at all. It is a nerve racking time and we should not be feeling this added pressure.

Currently we are coming to the end of this construction and that is what we have to say so far.

When my wife and I made the decision to go for a House & Land package with Firstyle Homes we had our concerns as this is our first house in Australia and the industry's general reputation is not great. We had also sirens in our ears from friends, colleagues and social media on the risks of building a house.

More than 3 months now on that journey and our experience with Firstyle Homes has been amazing. There has not been a single moment we have regretted it. Their Display Centre Sales team, Riza and Tommy, has been very helpful in providing us with the overall framework, processes (including payments schedule) and roadmap. Their coordination effort has been great!!! Astonished by the call of the Firstyle Homes Sales Manager, Jim, when he called me five days after we paid the holding deposit to share and confirm with us all the detailed information of our new house tailored to the selected lot conditions. They are always available to communicate and spend time with us on the phone, exchanging emails or meeting us in person. In addition, I am impressed by Darko's, the Pre-Construction Manager, active listening skills and attention to detail in trying to meet all our needs.

Overall we already feel that we are working with Firstyle Homes people as ONE team in building something great with trust and respect for each stakeholders' position. Firstyle Homes is the best choice we have made until today in building our first home in Australia.

The one thing that stood out in the process of building our first home with Firstyle Homes was the responsiveness of our site supervisor in Umang Soni. His unparalleled professionalism and calm approach to customer service made our entire experience with Firstyle Homes excellent. My wife and I took the key handover procedure yesterday and we were extremely happy with the final outcome of our beautiful new home in Werrington. The evidently high quality of the finished product is absolutely fantastic. If we are given a chance to build another new home, we'd definitely do it again with Firstyle Homes.
